This fabulous three bedroom, 3 bathroom duplex penthouse apartment, is located on the second floor of the family Villa, in the heart of the ancient city of Split, on Croatia's scenic Dalmatian Coast.
It features a large rooftop terrace with 360 degree view of the city, sea, islands, and surrounding mountains.
The apartment is within 10 minutes' walk 0f UNESCO protected Roman emperor's palace, as well as the bustling marina and the harbor front.
Three bedroom, 3 bathroom (en-suite), living room with study area, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, utility room with washer and dryer, two baconies, 50m2 terrace, and free private parking place on premises (on request ).

The apartment would make an ideal base for exploring Split, one of Croatia's most popular tourist destinations, which has much to offer in the way of sight seeing, bars and restaurants, music and art festivals as well as providing easy access to the numerous islands located offshore, which make for ideal day trips.
Other areas worth visiting and located within easy driving distance include the UNESCO protected town of Trogir, the Makarska Rivijera with its fine beaches, Roman City of Salona and Krka National Park with its beautiful waterfalls.

Beautiful place! Well equipped and clean.There were 5 staying and had plenty of room, Great neighborhood and walking distance to town. Rooftop veranda has incredible views. Owner was very responsive. Highly recommend this. We would definitely rent again if we return.

Our group of 3 couples could not have been happier with this accommodation. From the killer views of Split's old town from the penthouse patio to the spaciousness of the home to the prompt communication responses from the owner to the desirability of the neighborhood to the you-name-it, this rental was thoroughly satisfying. Six stars on a scale of one to five. When can we return?

Rooms with a view

Gordans communication and responsiveness was outstanding. The roof top terrace with a view of the city was a great place to sip local wine and unwind after a day of touring. The location was perfect we walked everywhere within 15 min.

Good Location

We enjoyed our stay at Gordon's place in Split. The location is good within walking distance to the palace. There is a great coffee shop on the road straight down the hill. Gordon was communicative and kindly arrange for a car to pick us up at the airport, which was very helpful And the view from the terrace is lovely and the place was comfortable. Thank you please

Perfect In All Respects

If you are looking for the best apartment to stay in Split, then look no further. Completely equipped, even down to matching cutlery and china (not often found in rental apartments), spotlessly clean, and fully equipped. Nothing is overlooked, and Gordan is an easy text away if you have any questions. He was more than responsive and helpful when it came to advice on where to go and what to do. We would happily stay there again when we return to Split. Thanks Gordan!

Jaw dropping

After looking at several listed flats through home away I decided this would be the one. Location was excellent, with the center just a 7 min walk away and many small shops in between. Then with quick access to the harbor able to get boats for hire and day sea planes. And a space for you to park, but you won't need a car, I suggest save the money and cab. Gordon was always timely with his my many questions, and I can't believe I found this place. The pictures are amazing but just wait until you get there. Overall this has been one of the best rentals I've stayed in, and by far the most hospitable owner. Fantastic!! Hvala Gordon! Look forward to seeing you again! Must see hvar, and visit some of the surrounding islands. Cheers! Happy travels.

quick walk to split center

The place is lovely, and it is an easy walk to Split old town and Diocletian's palace. Its a fairly busy neighborhood with some noise at night.

Fantastic apartment!

This lovely apartment is conveniently located and has every amenity you can think of plus more. The rooftop terrace overlooking the city and the sea is amazing. Gordan, the owner, was very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment. It was a highlight in our trip to Croatia!

Gordon was an excellent host. He arranged a car for us from the airport and met us at his beautiful home. The house is clean, beautiful and an easy walking distance to town. I would stay again!

The view wins

Wonderful penthouse in Split with excellent location to walk into town or hike in Marjun Park. Very comfortable beds. The host, Gordan, was welcoming and helpful. Very happy with this apartment which was complete with full kitchen and dining room. The rooftop patio had the best views of the city and sea. A perfect escape for wine, cheese and enjoying the beauty of Croatia.

Perfect place to stay!

Gordon was waiting for us at we arrived, gave us a great introduction to the apartment and the old town of Split. Places to eat, where to go etc. The best part of the apartment was the roof top terrace! Not many houses have a higher terrace, this one has a 360 degree view over other houses. It’s only a 10 minute walk to town on a gentle sloping narrow road. Gordon made a restaurant reservation and taxi arrangements for us as well. Take it from a seasoned traveler: this is where you should stay!!

Wonderful apartment for a visit to Split

The apartment was perfect for our visit to Split. Plenty of room. Very comfortable and the roof top patio provides spectacular views of Split. Gordon was a great host and made us feel welcome. He also arranged for a boat tour, which we paid for, that took us out on the water for a day. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful property and Gordan was amazing at suggesting activities to make our stay more special!

We had a group of 6 and the property was large and spacious so we all had our own space. We were alsio only a short walk to the centre of Split that made it very convenient for getting around. Gordan was available at all times to snswer any questions, provide suggestions and help book some special excursions. It was a great experience!

Great location in Split

From start to finish, our host, Gordon, was wonderful. We even arrived a bit late, but he was welcoming and gracious. The apartment is very roomy and comfortable and has a lovely deck which is the perfect spot to appreciate the beautiful surroundings. It is also very central as we were easily able to walk to the center of town, as well as take a hike up to a wonderful forest area and look out. We would definitely stay here again.

Gordan was great to work with and the property was ideal for our family of 5 adults.

The location to the city center and all accommodations was outstanding. The view from the rooftop was amazing and offeres a full city view. Gordan offered great insight on restaurant suggestions as well as activities that we mentioned were of interest. All in all a 5 star experience.

Outstanding apartment in excellent location

Outstanding multi-level apartment in excellent location, exactly as pictured and described. Very nicely furnished, including good chairs and lighting in every room, and comfortable beds. Very pleasant to spend part of a rainy day in. We thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop terrace both day and night. Owner was a perfect host and provided excellent orientation to the neighborhood and Old Town. We intend to stay here again on our next trip to Split. Thanks again, Gordan!

Excellent location and accommodation

this was a fabulous 3 bed apartment over two floors with a great rooftop area fully equipped with sun loungers, chairs etc. There was loads of room in the apartment with each bedroom having it’s own spacious bathroom. The lounge & dining room also very spacious with fully equipped kitchen. Gordan met us on arrival and showed us round. He also gave us valuable information of the surrounding area. Only a short walk down the hill to the old town. Would highly recommend.

I take pride in my properties and I'm responsive to any of our renters needs. Since we are local, (my family has been living here for more than 700 years), we deal with our guests directly- from key exchanges, to cleaning, to repairs, and anything in between.
The property is fully furnished and have all amenities of home.
