The property is very easy to get to and the view is beautiful. The host is very easy to get in touch with and checked on us during our stay to make sure everything was going ok. Would stay definitely stay here in the future.

We had a wonderful time! The property was well appointed and just as pictured. I think the cabin was decorated very nicely and stocked with everything one might need for a weekend stay. We would definitely stay again!!

Wonderful Quiet Retreat on Lake Martin

My husband and two pups had a wonderful stay at Elks Cove. Kyle is excellent at answering questions quickly and was very helpful ahead of our trip. The house is as described in the listing and the inside and outside were clean and well maintained. We also rented the boat, and it was very nice, clean, and comfortable for exploring the lake. We loved how quiet the property is and would absolutely rent here again.

Beautifully renovated law house

We enjoyed our first visit to Lake Lanier. We found the lake house to be newly updated with comfortable beds, coffee, refrigerator filtered water, beach towels, reclining lounge chairs on the dock, and more. Bathrooms are both newly updated. We enjoyed a wonderful restaurant, Spring House. 5 star choice to stay.

This was the perfect place for our family vacation. It was spotless, and well-appointed throughout. All appliances and utilities worked perfectly. The house has enough beds for three couples, with one downstairs in a separate spot. It had every single thing we needed or wanted, plus the ability to rent a sweet tri-toon for however many days we wanted. Whoever decorated the place made it perfect. Not too formal or kitschy, but comfortable and cozy. If it’s open again in the future, we will do it again!

Secluded Surprise

Its a nice cozy secluded house on the lake. The house is well kept and clean. Enough room for the 4 of us to relax and rest before a fishing tournament.

We had a great time staying here. The dock was close by and easily accessible. The house was very clean and well lit. Few minutes drive from Alexander City. Close to a local Marina. Two bedrooms upstairs with kitchen and one bedroom downstairs. Grill and patio were clean as well. All rooms had a Roku TV in them. Would be nice to have a dining room table though. Mr. Kyle was very prompt with responding to questions.

4th of July Lake Trip

Kyle is a fantastic host and his property was perfect for our 4th of July lake trip. The house was very clean and modern with very comfortable king beds in all three bedrooms. It was clear the property was recently renovated and had all the essentials for cooking/grilling and spending a few days on the lake. The property was perfect for a lake vacation with its own private cove and water toys (paddle board, kayak, and canoes) plus float pads. Kyle also rented us his tritoon boat that was fantastic for cruising around the lake and had a fantastic interior for all of our friends to enjoy. Overall fantastic place to stay on Lake Martin!

Beautiful Lakeside Home

The home is very comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. The kitchen is nicely updated with new appliances. Easy check out instructions. We were able to enjoy a no stress weekend trip. Even though it was cold during our visit, we made use of the fire pit on the dock and our pups had a great time exploring the property.

Perfect for my stay.

Spent just 1 night here, but would love to return and spend more time to explore the lake. The only drawback was through my drive to facility, I noticed on other parts of the lake, the water was much clearer than it was at the house. not sure if there is a river nearby that sheds its waters near this property, but definitely not as clear as other parts of the lake. Nothing to do with the property and would recommend.

Wonderful and relaxing

First visit to Alabama. We came in for a graduation at Alabama U. We had a great time! The cabin is very neat and clean, Kyle has thought of everything a guest may need. We had 2 new parents with a 4 month old baby and the first level cabin gave them privacy, and a quiet place for baby to rest. It really is 2 cabins in one! Don't leave any food or trash outside at night, because you are in the woods and we had raccoons visit. The other plus is you are right off the highway, and Alex City is only minutes away! Loved it!!

Perfect Family Getaway with Stunning Lake Views!

Our family had an absolutely amazing stay at this VRBO property over Thanksgiving weekend! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was impeccably clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed—and more! The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view of the sunrise over the lake—truly unforgettable. The property itself is stunning, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The downstairs apartment was a fantastic bonus, offering the perfect amount of privacy and comfort for our young adult and teenage children. They loved having their own space while still being close enough to join in the family fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Thank you for creating such a wonderful retreat for families like ours to enjoy!

2 night stay

Overall the stay was fine. Unit was clean and maintained well. I was a little surprised that this unit was actually 2 separate rentals. The upstairs and downstairs was not connected. If you wanted to talk to someone in the upper level, you had to go outside and walk up the stairs. Most of the appliances were up stairs. I guess no big issue, but would have wanted the add to point this out. The driveway both in and out was a nightmare. Almost needed a tow truck to get us out. The driveway needs to be fixed.

Great Memorial Day!

I planned a work retreat for two nights for our restaurant here for Memorial Day this week, and we had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and had updated amenities and kitchenware for us to cook for everyone. There are two seperated spaces connected by exterior stairs, which allowed us to have our own spaces when needed. We grilled dinner the second day on the back patio and there was plenty of space for all of us to eat and talk. During the day we spent time in the lake on the dock. It was so nice to have our own access to the lake! We were able to swim and enjoy the sun. There were kayaks available for use, and they were a huge hit! My favourite part, honestly. The property is inside of a little cul-de-sac, almost, so we had our own space. But could say hi to the neighbors cute dogs when we swam out! Kyle and his contact were communicative and check-in was very simple. They responded when I had questions and we didn't have any difficulties understanding the check-in process or connecting to the wifi. Additionally, there are some video games available to play that were really fun! Thanks again!

The cabin was so cute and cozy. It was very clean. It was so beautiful even with the water level down. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer. Very conveniently located!

It's difficult to find properties that offer the same level of privacy on Lake Martin that you'll find at our cabin. With this cabin sitting on close to 14 private acres, you'll have all the leg room you need. Plus, with a great view, water-access, close proximity to local activities/restaurants/etc and close proximity to 280 for quick trips to Alexander City or Auburn for game day, it's difficult to find a better option in our humble opinions.

Aside from the additional acreage and modern amenities available to our guests, the cabin has the unique benefit of being able to cater to various groups with private entrances for both the top and bottom floors (no interior stairs). Whether you have a larger family or are sharing the property with friends, the cabin offers great versatility and maximum privacy depending on your preferences. It's like getting two properties for the price of one!
