Truly paradise. The listing pictures accurately reflect the beautiful property. We had 14 people staying and every person fit comfortably in beds. The location is quiet and safe with the beautiful Bioluminescent Bay in the backyard. Our grandchildren had so much fun using the kayaks, paddleboard, and pool. The Rum Point beach club, restaurants, and shops, are only 2 blocks away in walking distance. The Star Fish Point, snorkeling with fish and turtles, and swimming with stingrays is only a few minutes away. We will definitely return to this peaceful property.

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful review. We’re really glad to hear the property worked so well for your group of 14 and that everyone was comfortable throughout your stay. It’s great that you were able to enjoy so many of the nearby highlights—from the Bioluminescent Bay right in the backyard to kayaking, paddleboarding, and the pool. Rum Point Beach Club and the nearby dining and shops truly make the area special, and we’re happy those were convenient for you as well. Star Fish Point and the snorkeling and stingray experiences are definitely some of the most memorable parts of staying in the area. We’d love to welcome you and your family back anytime for another peaceful stay.

The location was great. Walking out to the ocean was the best! The use of the canoes was definitely a plus. Plenty of space for 9 of us. Large kitchen and living/fining area. Well appointed with towels, beach towels and kitchen items. The pool is not large but great for when you don’t want to be in the ocean. The ac is a little tricky and the oven did not work. There are two places within walking distance and a large convenience store for groceries, basics and alcohol about 20 minutes from the location. Heads up, larger grocery stores are closed on Sunday if arriving that day but you can arrange for delivery either the day after or before.

House was even better than listed and as shown in Pictures. The rum point side of the island is so much quieter and low key. The beach at the house was great as well, kids played in the sand and water for hours!

We have rented a villa every February for 10 years. This was our favorite one yet. We were a family of 12 adults including my 95 year old mother. Some people were very active-scuba, snorkeling, jogging, kayaking, paddle boarding- and some just lazed around the pool or beach. There was room for everyone to find a quiet spot. We had a fabulous time. The house was exactly as advertised. I asked about a cooler to take to the beach and the host dropped off her personal one the next morning.

A lovely holiday

We all had a lovely stay at this property. It was a lovely quiet and secluded property. The Villa was described accurately. It was clean and tidy. There were some minor maintenance issues but these were all attended to when requested. Some spare sheets would have been helpful, and when we requested another sheet (because the washing machine had broken) it was never dropped off, despite the property manager saying she would. The machine did get fixed, however, so I am not sure what happened here. They allowed us to check in slightly early which was much appreciated. Overall a lovely holiday.

12 adults; April 9–16This is a review of the property itself - no issues dealing with management.I would recommend this property BUT only based on what type of trip you’re planning. For a staycation, this is a great fit. For an adventure around the island, its location in Rum Point made driving an absolute necessity. This house has many amenities, but at a 2k/night price tag, I’d expect just a little bit refinement. Cons:JELLYFISH; constantly present & stung 2 of our guests Dust (mold?) on bathroom vents & fansHole in the grease tray of the barbecue grill Pool light didn’t workStovetop heated unevenly & the oven took 30 minutes to preheat; if you cook a lot – be advised!Hole in one of the kayaks Needs additional kayak paddle Lights by hammock would not turn onRemotes in downstairs bedrooms would turn other bedrooms fans/lights on and offKnives in rough shape Closest grocery store 20 min away; Closest pharmacy 30 min away No pool skimmerSO much paperwork to read through! Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have previously stayed at Treasure Cove when one of my daughters Danielle was married at the Kaibo. We visited before our proposed stay.Nothing much had changed other than there was a building site next door and across the road. This was distressing and whilst times to operate are supposed to be restricted they are not always enforced.Upon request the rental ratyecwasc reduced to compensate. The first night the a/c did not opewratyev in two bedrooms. This was attended to the second day very quickly.Judy was very attentive to our needs and has to be commended as the sort of onsite manager any owner would like to have. The property is an ideal size for our extended family and enabled the family joined by a few friends to really make my wife's birtday memorable. We would stay there again if a sutable opportunity arises.

Perfect Vacation Home!

Our family of 14 had the best week ever at this property! From the setting to the amenities - it was even better than I had hoped it would be! The house is accurately described. It is a quite large solidly built home. Older, but very high-quality decor with tons of seating - we really appreciated the huge dining table with 12 chairs. The beds were quite comfortable - plenty of linens and towels supplied. The amenities were amazing - from every appliance & tool needed in the kitchen, large capacity washer & dryer to tons of beach towels, pool toys, life jackets plus 5 kayaks & 2 boards. You truly don't need to bring anything except a bathing suit! The pool, though not large was the perfect size for our use and with the beach and bay as your back yard - it is all you need. The setting of the house is breathtaking - set with the best view of the bay leading out to the ocean. Going out in the kayaks at night to view the bio luminous bay is magical. There are jelly fish in the bay, but it is still perfect for kayaking and wading and to sit at its edge in the lounge chairs in the sand and just relax! Swimming and snorkeling is wonderful at either Rum Point or Starfish Point. There are two great restaurants within walking distance with good food and beautiful settings.I would highly recommend Cayman Villas - they were wonderful to work with and I would say if you are lucky enough to rent Treasure Cove, you will not be disappointed. We can't wait to return!

Family vacation New Year celebration.

The property is very nice. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 6 kids. The location is excellent close to restaurants and a small grocery store (Chisholm store). We ordered food from a large grocery store to be delivered when we arrived. During our stay we used chef Thomas for a full sit down dinner and two drop off days for meals. He was absolutely great. Would highly recommend him. A car is a must to get around in. Just to get to the property is a good ride. Taxis are too expensive and so is a private ride. Plus once you get to the property you will need to have transportation. Rented two vans from Marshals. They were the most reasonable. The pool is a bit small but the kids enjoyed it regardless. The beach is great for kids. Calm and quiet. Shallow but ok for some snorkeling, kayaking and swimming. One of the two Kyaks listed was not operable. It leaked. We did have a problem with no hot water. The manager had it addressed promptly however being over a weekend we were without hot water for a few days. This property is lovely and in a nice location. I would recommend it to a family that needs space and wishes to be away from the crowds and experience island life. Rick L - Wisconsin

Cayman vacation

The home is lovely. We had a few issues. We were told the front door would be open and the key left on the table. The doors were all locked and we had to turn on cellular data to call the property manager several times before she picked up and informed us that the key was under the front door mat. Additionally, the home is advertised as 2 king beds and 2 queen beds. In fact there is a double bed instead of a queen. This was not ideal for a couple used to sleeping in a larger bed. The dishwasher leaked and although I called management the issue was not addressed and so we repaired it . The TV in the master bedroom did not work and was apparently off line. The house is large and comfortable with plenty of towels and linens. It was cleaned well before our arrival and a pool worker came by mid week to clean it. The location is perfect. A 10 minute walk to the rum point beach or the Kai beach. If the rental was not insanely expensive the relatively minor problems would be ignored. But honestly, as this cost I expect perfect. Csyman is magical. I highly recommend a visit and with a few upgrades I would stay at this home again.

Dear Sue, Thank you for your email and I am pleased that you all enjoyed your stay at Treasure Cove. The Property Manager asked her helper to leave the key at the villa for you and there was a miscommunication, so I apologise on her behalf for the mix up with the keys on arrival. The beds are all Kings and queens, except for the bunk bed of course. There has never been a double bed in this villa, and the dishwasher has been inspected and no issue was found, so not sure why that was leaking. Anyhow, we are pleased that you loved the villa overall and do hope you will visit us again soon. Kind regards, The Cayman Villas Team

We truly enjoyed our stay at Treasure Cove. The management was very responsive to any request and we loved how well stocked the house was with supplies for our basic needs. The best part - the house has a premier location on the Bioluminescent Bay and you can see the most incredible sunsets from the porch and living room. At night, you can kayak out to stir up the luminescent sea life! The location of the house was also fabulous as is equidistant to Kaibo Beach Club and Rum Point Club. The large kitchen was great for cooking for our 10 family members and we even had a chef come in one night to cook for us as we enjoyed the grand dining table. All the rooms were well appointed with tables, lamps, comfortable furniture and beautiful art. Did I mention the pool? It was petite but perfect for taking a dip and cooling off. The property sits on a nice beach with a covered hammock and private dock. We were able to be picked up by our private charter at the dock! We would definitely return to this property.

Fantastic House and Property

I would give it 4.5 stars if possible. The only reason it doesn’t get a 5 star is the pool is very, very small and the beach is it not very swimmable. It is fine to go up to your knees but past that there are a lot of jelly fish, etc. The house was immaculate and perfect for us.

Dear Chris, Thank you for your lovely review of Treasure Cove. We are delighted that you and your guests enjoyed your stay at this beautiful beachfront villa. The owners put in a smaller pool so as to not obstruct the views of the sea and sunsets! The jelly fish are seasonal, but I believe they do not sting, as I have never encountered that. Snorkeling is fun in the cove and the bioluminescence at night is incredible! We look forward to welcoming you back for another vacation in the near future. A Perfect House and Perfect Location

The house was spectacular--what a great location, right on Bioluminescent Bay. We loved being in Rum Point, away from the cruise ship crowds. Judy, the manager, was attentive to the problem we were having with the dishwasher and a brand new dishwasher was installed the very next day. One recommendation is to stock the house with more bar soap and toilet paper. Also, it would be a good idea to mention in your description that the kayaks provided with the rental are two-person kayaks. Knowing that would have saved us money because we rented two additional kayaks. Overall we had a wonderful time!!!

Dear Joann, Thank you for your wonderful review of Treasure Cove. We are delighted to hear that you and your guests enjoyed your stay at this spectacular villa. The 'starter supplies', provided to all guests on arrival into the villa, includes hand soap and 3 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. We have revised our online property description to add that the kayaks are double kayaks. Thank you for the suggestion! We look forward to welcoming you back for another vacation in the near future. Beautiful home in great location

The house was well equiped and nicely furnished. Our on small complaint was that the supply of toilet tissue was meager. We had only one extra roll. Ohter than that all was good.

Hi John, We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay at Treasure Cove! We will be sure to let the property manager know about the toilet paper. I think it may have been a over sight as there is usually 3 rolls per bathroom to start you off. We cant wait for you to come back. Make sure to contact us directly for a repeaters discount! Guests choose Cayman Kai to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature. Enjoy paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkelling, boating, fishing or simply watching the sunrise over the Caribbean Sea.
