Newly renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with 750 sq ft of space. The bedroom has a queen size bed, a work desk with chair, and a ceiling fan. The living area has a comfy couch that can convert to a day bed. TV has apps to watch all streaming services. The unit has high speed Wi-Fi internet. The kitchen is stocked with cookware to cook meals, stainless steel appliances, toaster, fridge with freezer, and a Keurig to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning.

After a long day of traveling we were looking forward to finally relaxing and unwinding (traveling with a 3 year old and a pregnant wife). When we walked through the door we noticed immediately an unmade dirty bed, with hair scattered through out the sheets, dirty towels on the floor of the bathroom as well as trash still In the trash can. We immediately took pictures and sent to host. The host was very timely with messaging back and offering a full refund for what he called a “cleaning schedule error.” However, at this point we were disgusted to stay and decided it was best to leave and stay in a hotel for the night..which was a huge inconvenience. I reached out to VRBO in regards to refund and they told me that only a partial not a full refund was initiated by the host. At this point I was very irritated and have not heard back from host in regards to full refund.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to sincerely apologize again for the cleaning scheduling error that occurred prior to your arrival. Unfortunately, this resulted from an issue between VRBO and our Hospitable integration that caused the cleaning to be incorrectly scheduled. We understand how frustrating it must have been to arrive after a long day of travel—especially with a young child and your pregnant wife—and not find the suite ready. As soon as you notified us, we responded immediately, offered to have the unit cleaned right away, and issued a full refund for the amount we received from VRBO. We also provided you with confirmation of that refund. The remaining portion of your payment consists of VRBO platform and service fees, which hosts do not receive and cannot refund directly. Those fees can only be refunded by VRBO themselves, which is why we advised contacting them. While we understand your frustration with the situation, what was not appreciated was being called a liar and being accused of “playing cat and mouse games,” particularly after we promptly responded, provided proof of the refund, and attempted to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We truly did our best to make the situation right and offered immediate solutions, but we respect your decision to stay elsewhere that evening. Situations like this are extremely rare for us, and maintaining a clean, comfortable environment for our guests—especially at our Montrose properties—is something we take

Great location! Nice unit! Only a few reasons it wasn’t a 5 star. You can clearly hear the individual that lives upstairs conversations and footsteps, which didn’t bother us but is note worthy. We had a few minor issues that we took care of ourselves due to the time that we got into the Vrbo. Main issue being that there was excessive hair strands everywhere. Human and animal, still clean but not vacuumed or lint rolled thoroughly enough. We did send this to the manager, who promptly responded trying to resolve the issue but we took care of it ourselves. Just had to lint roll and Lysol the couches and bed (as we normally do anyway), so it didn’t present itself as too much of an issue as those are our normal steps. Would absolutely recommend for anyone staying in Houston. It was a great central location and they pretty much fool proofed the check in and check out process. Kitchen was also fully stocked with everything you would need if you prefer to cook your meals.

Cute and convenient

Nice property, well appointed. Loved the location as it was very conveniently situated to many tourist sites, restaurants, etc. Had a couple of maintenance issues tgat the iwner responded to quickly. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great location. Property is nice and clean. We felt it was a bit musty -- not a lot of windows and being on the lower level we kept hearing the resident above us walk around until late into the evening -- morning hours.
