Enjoy a San Francisco visit in this cozy garden suite.
Our spacious guest suite is part of a deatched single family home and it has a separate entrance and private view/use of a lush garden and patio. Located in a quiet and residential San Francisco neighborhood, this space is the ideal mix of convenience and location. Street Parking is very easy with no time limits, and the driveway is also available. Super low crime area with no issues in our 5+ years in the location. Perfect place as your getaway base for solo adventurers, couples, and business travelers.

There is coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave, WIFI, TV with streaming channels and a peloton for your use and enjoyment. Washer and Dryer available upon request. This is a Hosted stay, The reservation is for a completely separate and private section of the house all rooms and bathroom and entrance to the suite are private.

Very nice place. Had exactly what we needed. Very clean, well kept space. Had a cozy fireplace. Nice neighborhood that felt safe. Driveway parking was convenient. The host even allowed us to drop off our luggage ahead of check in.

The space was perfect for 2 people. We were in town for a concert, and the rental had everything we needed for a 1-night stay. We forgot some of our toiletries, but the bathroom was stocked with all the essentials (cleanser, lotion, body wash etc.). The backyard was great, and if it had been a little warmer we definitely would have utilized that space more. Chris was very responsive to any inquiries we had, and replied immediately in the VRBO messenger. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in SF!

This certainly was a beautiful place and nice location. Place was clean, spacious, lots of personal hygiene products (if we forgot anything), but most importantly, a great price and driveway parking. My only complaint is whoever lives upstairs. Don’t know if it’s the property owner or another renter, but they were quite loud and random parts of the day and night. The stay was great other than whoever was upstairs. Thank you

Space was exactly as shown in the listing. Host was very nice and offered accommodation as my partner and I were visiting for my partners doctor appointment. Will definitely book again if we need a place to stay in SF.

great location in SF w available street parking if you're driving! the studio was nicely decorated and bed was sooo comfy. there's a nice electric fireplace, more for vibes than actual heat. only thing is that the ceiling/walls are thin so you will hear folks upstairs moving about or snoring, just be wary if you're an extremely light sleeper

You are basically staying in somebody’s basement while they still go about their day. We could hear every footstep, every word, every cough. It was also raining so we had to spend more time in the room than we wanted too. It was clean and spacious but it definitely didn’t feel private.

Lovely space with a quiet location

This was a lovely spot with some great amenities. The e-fireplace was fun and festive, lots of books to read and the area is very quiet. The bed was very comfortable!

Very nicely decorated and spacious. Cute backyard patio. This place needs a good deep clean, just seemed like surface cleaned. Check in instructions weren’t that clear and there are several codes for every door during your stay. The futon couch in the living room was broken so we had to sit on a slanted couch. The hardest part about this stay was the extremely loud people living upstairs. From the moment we started walking up to the house we heard yelling from several houses away. They stomped all hours of the night I heard every single word & sound. Things were being dropped at 1am with yelling. It did not stop from 5pm when we got there until we left the next day at 9am. Didn’t seem like they were very considerate of having downstairs guests. Wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to stay.

You will not find a better location to stay in San Francisco especially on a budget. Prices are great, amazing owner communication, location can’t be beat as well as always having parking. We will definitely be staying here again when in the area!!!

Great stay near SF

Location is great for getting to/from the airport. There is also a bus stop that is a 5 minute walk from the property. I felt safe here for the most part, especially during the day, and my car was safe in the driveway. Really appreciated the driveway! I would live in this apartment in a heartbeat, it’s lovely! Big bathroom, little fireplace, nice TV. Would highly recommend even though you are a little bit on the outskirts of the city. Thanks so much!!

Amazing stay

What a lovely place to stay in. Extremely cultured, neat and clean. I was impressed by seeing a a traditional Aarong jewelry box from my country of Bangladesh inside bedside drawer. I would highly recommend staying here. We loved your taste in books and being so thoughtful in having everything in the place thg we could possibly need. Not to mention the flexibility he has given us with keeping our luggage after the checkout time when we explored while waiting for our flight.

There was urine in the seat and toilet when my friends arrived late from SFO. There was hair in the bed and no top sheet. My friend reached out by text but never got a reply (even during normal business hours). They were not comfortable at all and left for a hotel in the middle of the night. It was awful and stressful after a long day of flying.

This review is retaliatory and does not reflect the actual circumstances of the stay. The reservation was made by this guest on behalf of others who were not registered, which is a direct violation of our booking policy. These individuals entered private areas of our home past midnight, which was both inappropriate and an invasion of privacy. We responded and offered reasonable solutions when contacted, but the communication from the guest was rude and dismissive. The accusations made are unfounded and inconsistent with the condition of the space, as confirmed by multiple prior guests. We take cleanliness and hospitality seriously and have consistently received positive feedback for both.

Perfect Getaway for 2

A great space for two people. Most importantly the bed was so comfortable, which was a priority as our stay was for 10 days. There are three large spaces, the bedroom, a huge bathroom and lounge area with an electric fireplace, as well as central heating. Fridge, microwave and coffee machine (Keurig) but unfortunately no toaster. As we had an extended stay we were offered the use of the washing machine and dryer which was greatly appreciated. The bus is just down the road (43) and then jump on a BART and before you know it you’re in the middle of downtown SF, return and you’re back in the quiet and safe suburb of Crocker Amazon. All you need is a Clipper Card. When you arrive home relax in the afternoon sun in the garden area. We loved it and will be back for sure. Thanks so much Chris!

We were excited for a peaceful stay, but it was anything but. The upstairs hosts were incredibly loud—stomping, slamming doors, laughing, and even partying late into the night. Each night we were kept up past midnight and woken again by 6 AM. The last night was the worst: noise from midnight until nearly 5 AM. We got almost no sleep during our entire stay. The lack of consideration for guests paying to stay below you is wild. The space smelled good at first but was masking odors of urine and water damage. It was only surface-level clean—mirrors were dirty, cobwebs and spiders were present, and the Keurig was moldy with old coffee and standing water. The hand soap was watered down (bring your own if you fancy clean hands after the restroom), and old, half-used toiletries were left behind for you to use. We had no control over the temperature—it was freezing one night and uncomfortably hot the next. The couch was broken and unusable, and the privacy was questionable, with see-through window coverings and thin walls.Communication with the host was poor; I had to message three in 30days before getting a reply. Overall, this stay was stressful, sleepless, and not worth the cost. For the same price, you’re much better off booking a hotel.Cons: all of the abovePros: earlier check in. Access to washer dryer. Parking in driveway

Some feedback about our experience

The code lock was a major problem. The owner was responsive and attempted maintenance, but the problem persisted the next night. Something probably to do with cold and humidity I'd guess. But it took about 15 attempts for the lock to fully open.Other concerns:The horizontal sliding window didn't have a locking system from what we could tell. We were concerned about theft vulnerability. So we braced the window with a hanger bar from the closet.No thermostat or way to warm the space that we could find.The towels were bleach splotched and smelled really intensely of what seemed like cologne. Raised concern about their actual cleanliness.The mugs were dirty and cracked - which presents a bacteria hazard. A dedicated washing station was available in the accessible garage space.Some more picky things:The utensils plastic ones. A real knife would have been very helpful.The dish soap was not in the room, and was challenging to find in the garage.The shower curtain is set too high such that the steam billows the plastic into the occupant.In terms of experience and ambiance, it was really lovely. And, though the issue was not resolved, we appreciate the late night responsiveness about the lock. I hope this feedback benefits the owner and future guests.

Had a contractor fix the lock and door connection. Better angle for the door perhaps, and super cold weather? Haven't had that issue in last two years and batteries were replaced. Haven't had an issue with towels, as we replace with 2-4 towels, maybe we made a mistake apologies. Thats not a good experience we have this listing on Airbnb and have gotten 4.95 starts so not sure what happened. Thanks for suggestions on soap and utencils and mugs to make sure those things are replaced and useful for guests

I’m originally from Sonoma County and we like take advantage of the beautiful locales for local racquet sports along with disc golf courses, hiking in the area. The nightlife and community events in SF are unmatched and there is always something social going on.

This is a beautiful well kept neighborhood in the south side of the city. It is fairly close to our places of work as a school counselor and therapist and focal population with whom we work.
