The Boathouse is a waterfront studio that is attached to our Lakehouse with separate and private entrance. It is a very unique space with panoramic oversized patio doors overlooking the lake with queen size bunk bed, a small kitchenette for your cooking needs, electric fireplace and an ensuite bathroom. It is literally steps away from the lake. Wake up from awe-inspiring sunrise reflecting from the water into the boathouse panoramic window.

The Boathouse has a private patio covered under large Gazeebo with propane BBQ, picnic table, chairs, and firepit area right by the lake.

Get cozy inside by electric fireplace or just spend a whole day playing board games, video games or watch unlimited movies. We also have high speed internet for your working or streaming needs.

Zuka Cedar Spa Experience:

Indulge in the ultimate relaxation with our Cedar Spa amenities, individually prepared for every guest. Nestled by a picturesque lake, our wood-fired barrel Hot Tub and Sauna, crafted from Western Red Cedar, await your arrival. This unique experience is available upon request and at an additional charge due to meticulous preparation and maintenance.

Hot Tub:

Immerse yourself in our Cedar Hot Tub, located under a lakeside gazebo. Each hot tub is prepared specifically for you—cleaned and refilled with 3500 liters of pure lake water before your arrival, free of any chemicals. It will be preheated with wood before your arrival, a process that may take up to 24 hours depending on weather conditions. The hot tub comes equipped with bath robes, towels, and required firewood.

Sauna:

Enjoy the serenity of our barrel cedar Sauna with stunning lake views. Each sauna is pre-set and stocked with necessary firewood, fresh pine venik (branches), sauna hats, towels, spa robes, and essential oils.

Please Note:

- Spa amenities will be prepared and pre-heated with wood for your arrival. We will provide instructions on their use and required firewood. You will need to maintain the firewood supply to keep the hot tub and sauna at the desired temperature.

- Our full-day experience spans from early morning until late evening. For single-day bookings, it includes the period from check-in to checkout time.

- The maximum duration for a full stay experience is up to 3 days.

- Payment for all additional amenities is due in cash upon check-in. These amenities must be pre-arranged and are subject to availability.

Boathouse Description:

There is a shallow water entry, or you can just jump into the lake right of our private dock where you can also park your own watercraft (public boat access is right across). Enjoy various water activities we have to offer, such as kayaking, canoe, water mat, and plenty of water toys and floaters. We also offer boat cruises and water tubing experiences (extra, please inquire).

Sparrow Lake is also known for great fishing any time of the year, so you don’t need to go far as you can fish right of the shore. For an ultimate fishing experience, at additional charge, we offer fishing equipment, fishing boat and ice fishing hut just steps from the Lakehouse.

Take a break from water activities and play beach volleyball at our private VB court or various games on our grass lawn. There is also a large trampoline for the kids to take their energy off. Our firepit at the shoreline, is sure to keep you warm on chilly nights, or you may even want to BBQ in style using our outdoor wood stove by the front porch. In the winter, enjoy various outdoor activities, such as cross-country skiing or skating on our private rink on the lake (subject to weather). You might also want to explore nearby tobogganing hills and local snowmobile trails accessible right from our driveway.

For your convenience, we also provide all the bedding, linens and towels that are thoroughly washed and disinfected, and other essentials such as shampoo/conditioner and body wash.

And if you like fishing, gather your fishing accessories as this is your lucky time, because Sparrow Lake is also known as one of the richest lakes for fishing, inhabiting fish like Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Muskellunge, Yellow Perch, and many others species.

Listing Notes:

- A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation.
- The remaining balance is due upon check-in (cash preferred).
- Guests paying in cash receive a 10% discount on lodging only; the 50% deposit will be refunded at check-in (minus Stripe fees if applicable).
- A refundable $250 security deposit will be held on your credit card 2 days before checkout and released after your stay.
