Hello Terri! I am disappointed to read your review when our prior communications were all positive with no concerns or issues mentioned. I outline very explicit and specific directions to the property with pictures to help with any confusion. That was provided in the Welcome Guide that is sent to you prior to your stay and I send that to every guest who books! I like to respect my guests and not be on top of them or make them feel uncomfortable. I did notice the younger gentleman outside for a little bit, but again, I do not like to hover. I have many signs throughout the property and the one by the thermostat does NOT communicate that you are unable to change the temperature. It gives explicit instructions on HOW to change the temperature to avoid any manual resets, which would result in your discomfort. I have recently added mention of opening the windows because many people enjoy the Fall breeze. I am sorry that you struggled to open the windows or thought you could not adjust the thermostat. I am shocked to hear that the milk was expired as I personally rotate all of the food / beverages in the unit to be sure that it remains fresh for all of my guests. I also note that breakfast is self-service items that rotate and change seasonally. I make sure there is always something, but I do not guarantee one specific item. I apologize that you were disappointed by the available options. I provide many pictures of the property and they do show the flow of the layout along with details about the bathroom and where it is located. It is detailed in the description of the different rooms. I apologize if that came as a surprise to you. Last, and most importantly, I value each of my guests because it is my livelihood and how I provide for my family. I am not a big company or someone who owns many properties. I give my contact information to every guess and make it very clear that I am available anytime and always encourage people to reach out!
