Whether you are talking about the Florida Peninsula or the Sorrento Peninsula, everyone loves the beach! Two hurricanes destroyed our little house on Anna Maria Island in the Fall of '24, but out of the adversity came a beautiful little Italian Villa, built from the ground up and available for occupancy on October 19, 2025! With Mediterranean accents throughout, a beautiful in ground pool, and an adjoining grotto, you will think you are back on the Amalfi Coast. But throughout the home itself, every room is adorned with authentic fish mounts from Florida's greatest game fish, so you will always be cozy and ready for your cheeseburger in Florida paradise. Our Villa, nestled between the beach and the bay, with views of both, may be why the Italians say "Quando la vita ti da limoni, fai limonata!"

This newly finished home backs onto 17 acres of mangrove forest and is situated on a quiet pond which includes a dock for fishing. All towels, linens, cooking utensils and beach chairs are provided. We have enclosed parking for 2 cars. Close to shopping and restaurants, it is perfect for your Island getaway!

An absolutely wonderful experience. At all times both Diana (prop mgr) and John Anthony (owner) made it their mission for our stay to be amazing. Quick responses and ALWAYS aimed to please.Location: My husband and I judge that this location on around 28th St. is the perfect spot in Home Beach. Very friendly, not as crowded and touristy as it is in Anna Maria or Bradenton Beach. We were a block and a half to two blocks away from the beach and just a few blocks away from the bay. We walked to both every day shopping centers were within walking distance about a half a mile Catholic Church five minute drive just ideal location.Comfort: the villain itself was also amazing. Clean, beautiful, extremely comfortable sofas in the living room the dining chairs, the beds, all very comfortable. The major appliances are all top-notch. I wish I had that washer and dryer and refrigerator in my own home.I have absolutely nothing negative to report after our 2 1/2 month stay in the little slice of heaven.

Pool was great once March rolled around and the water was warm enough

Great location

Great location on the island and great for dogs. 2 blocks to the bay and 2 blocks to the Gulf. Property manager was responsive when an issue needed resolved. Would there stay again.

Small but worked for 2 kids & 2 adults

The renting process was a breeze from the reservation to the day of walking into the home. It is a small older house...so don't expect latest greatest gadgets, decor or roominess. Only 2 block walk to beach. Pool is small but works for 7yo & 9yo. My biggest complaint is owner needs to invest in umbrellas for patio and pool area. Luckily we had brought our umbrellas and hubby was able to rig them up around the pool...so BYOUmbrellas!! Also invest in some throw rugs at backdoor and sliding door area. Our kids complaint was the twin beds were too hard. I would not stay here again mainly because we aren't repeat renters and it does need some updating.

this home is my away from home.

this home has everything you could want and need. the property manager is great to deal with. always wants to help out with what you might need to happen. recommend this place for great location and a nice small private pool with your own backyard to enjoy.

Good location but poorly maintained.

Short walk to the beach, great pool area. House had many mechanical issues and the maintenance service took multiple days to respond.

Nice cottage

This house is a great deal...with a pool, three bedrooms, all the amenities you need. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The manager April was such a delight...she was so attentive. The hammock was awesome! I especially enjoyed the outside lighting. The beach was such a short walk and so was the bay. Publix is right around the corner. Location is amazing and so was the price. Looking forward to returning next year.

Great cottage

The house was clean. It is an older house but everything was clean. I would recommend this house. The yard was very nice. It was a little too cool for us to use the pool.

Great little cottage!

If you're not expecting luxury but a very nice, quiet, clean and budget friendly place, then this is the cottage for you! My family of four adults and two teenagers plus our dogs and were very happy there. We were comfortable and had plenty of room and the kitchen was adequate even though there were older appliances. The dishwasher was fine when we were there. No smell either. The backyard and pool were just right and we had a ball! The neighbors were very nice as well. Could have used an umbrella on the patio table but otherwise we liked it. We plan to go back next year.

Great Location Close To Beach At The Perfect Price

This house was close to the beach in Holmes Beach and close to the Intracoastal. You only have to cross one "major" road to get to the beach from this property. This property also backs up to a Mangrove forest and has a nice little dock. The dock didn't seem too sturdy so I wouldn't recommend loading it up with lots of people. If you kayak or SUP and have your own equipment, a short walk away from the beach will bring you to a good spot to get in the water. Publix is just up the road and this house is in a good location to head towards Bradenton or Sarasota. The pool was a great feature and there was a propane grill outside with a fire pit/bbq pit out there as well. I was looking forward to the hammock, but it looked like it had seen better days. This property was a great deal compared to some of the more expensive properties on the island. This house itself is a little bit older and it does not appear that the owner vacations to themselves, in that some of the appliances are older (dishwasher, stove/oven, fridge) and with some updating to the house it could really blow you away. The washer and dryer are around the outside and were fairly new. I rated this a 4 but would go with a 3.5 if I could. When we arrived there was a slightly funky smell coming from underneath the cabinets in the kitchen, I realize this is an older home but finally found the problem to be in the dishwasher. We didn't end up using this appliance but there was a few inches of standing water in the dishwasher that was getting moldy and stank up the kitchen when it was open. The maintenance guy showed up one night to manually drain the water from the dishwasher and was very friendly/helpful. This property is dog friendly which is why we choose it, it was perfect for our two small dogs. The back bedroom of the house (the one with the double doors) has its own window a/c unit (maybe it was an unconditioned space in the house previously?). I did not have the same experience with the neighbor as someone else did. She seemed very friendly and said hello when we were outside. It was just me and my wife with our two dogs, so we tended to be a little quieter than someone who might have a family with them. In all, I didn't get that "beach" feel from inside the house with the bright colors but the backyard/pool was great, the location was awesome. I might stay here again but if traveling with family would pay a little more for an up to date look/feel.

Perfect Beach House

My husband, 4yr old son and I stayed here back at the beginning of June. We had a blast. The house is nicely kept and we loved all the skylights. They totally brightened up the house. The walk to the beach was short and the wagon that the owners provided was great for toting my son back and forth. The pool and pool area were great for relaxing. My family loved having access to the Bayou right in the backyard. My son and husband would sit out there and TRY to fish. The house is perfectly placed. You have the bay a short walk on one side and the Gulf a short walk on the other. If you need to run to the grocery store it is a quick drive down Gulf Dr. There is also a pizza place, Chinese restaurant, ice cream place, and a cafe right by the grocery store. And if you don't feel like driving, the trolley stop is at the end of the block.

Love it!!! Very relaxing!!

My family and I just spent an amazing week at this home. It was wonderful!!! It is a short walk to a beautiful beach!! All the beaches in the area are amazing!! My kids LOVED the pool. They swam every single day and night. April was so awesome to work with and I greatly appreciate her willingness to do so. I will for sure be back and will recommended this home to all my friends and family.

Great home

The home was great and we were all sad to leave and wished we could stay longer. It had more than enough room for our family of 4 and could probably fit at least 6 comfortably. We loved the small private pool, my 10 year old used it every second we were there. It had everything we needed to have a great vacation. There was even a propane grill. One thing I would note, I was irritated the 1st day we arrived because I thought there was a washer/dryer but could not find one. I did end up finding it later that day, its located in a little alcove around the side of the house, just thought I'd add that so no one else would get frustrated, lol . 2 min walk to a beautiful beach with sand IMO as soft and cool as Siesta Key's. The only thing we didn't love, had nothing to do with the home. The 1st night we arrived, the neighbors next door talked loudly about hating vacationers and made it clear they were not thrilled we would be staying there. Unfortunitely, it seemed to be a sentiment shared by alot of the locals as we recieved pretty lukewarm service at many of the Island establishments when they realized we were vacationers. Luckily, most of our activities were not on the Island and we did not get the same cold reception anywhere else. April who handled renting the home was great and even with the unexpected last minute addition of having to bring my Dog was nothing but helpful and friendly. All in all we loved our vacation and are already planning another trip later this year, if it's available when we do we will most likely rent this home again.
