Settled in a small quiet bay, #TheKrakenCove lake house is that feel-good getaway where you can enjoy the sunrise from the hot tub. We have a great water view.
Our 3 Bedroom 2 bathroom lake home hosts a delightful stay for up to 6 people and is enjoyed best by all ages! Some of our favorite parts of the property include a lake front yard fit for activities, a comfortable hot tub, an outdoor shower, a fire pit, and a private dock + boat ramp

Just like buried treasure, our property overlooks the cove and sits well above the level of the lake, creating an idyllic setting straight out of a novel.
Catch the morning sunrise over the lake or a sunset from the hot tub over looking the water and you won`t regret it!

The master bedroom here has a king bed and a private bathroom, while the other two separate bedrooms contain queen beds and share an opposing hallway bathroom. The entire house has its own dedicated hi-speed wifi, and the kitchen comes complete with cookware and a gas range for all you vacation chefs!

The living room is an easy space to relax in, as we have a tv with streaming services you can login to, and a speaker for your tunes. There`s also a desk for all of our workaholics out there.

The property also has its own dedicated Level 2 EV Charger (220 Volts) for any electric vehicles. Please reach out if you have any questions about charging!

Additional features include a hot tub, and outdoor shower, yard swing, firepit, hammock, additional covered parking, laundry, and a central HVAC system with heat and AC for whatever weather you`d like to ignore outside. #TheKrakenCove also has an upstairs and downstairs patio with a grill, as well as a basement with a few couches.

*Please be aware before booking that while this property is located on the waterfront with its own private dock and boat ramp, Duke Energy has temporarily lowered the level of the lake in order to perform upgrades to the Lake Wateree Dam. The lake is set to drop 8’ and reach 350’ by December and will remain at that level until the end of January 2023. We cannot guarantee the ability to launch/park a boat at the dock while the drawdown is in effect.

Guests have access to the entire property!

We are less than 20 minutes from Carolina Adventure World!

#TheKrakenCove is less than 15 minutes east of the 77 highway, and 2-Wheel Drive vehicles have no problem making it to the property. We have a driveway which easily parks 3-4 vehicles, and covered parking on the other side of the house.

Very private neighborhood that provides you with a unique quiet place to rest and enjoy nature.

There is parking on the property and you will need a car to visit any other locations in the area.
If you have bikes, you will have a great area to ride it.

Please be respectful of the noise level after hours, as we are near other properties on the lake and noise carries far over the water.

There is no lifeguard on duty. Guest assumes all liability for any injuries or damage from the lake and also the hot tub.

No glass is allowed near the hot tub.

No food or smoking while in the hot tub.

Please replace the hot tub cover after use.
No smoking allowed in the building. Will result in min. $500 fee
Children can stay in the property, we need parents to be aware that the place is not design for toddlers, in terms of security.

Hot Tub Rules:
Please, use at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty.
No food or drinks in the hot tub at any time
No glass of any kind is allowed in the hot tub
No smoking inside the hot tub
Any damages to the hot tub that require replacement parts, draining/refilling, or repairs of any kind will be charged to you accordingly.

We do not allow any additional people to stay on the property without our permission. We reserve the right to charge for extra people not mentioned on the reservation.

We would like to inform you that a $100 security deposit will be pre-authorized on your account. This pre-authorization is a standard procedure to ensure the security of our services and is not an immediate charge.
