With four (4) bedrooms and three (3) bathrooms, the house comfortably sleeps 10-12.
Relax in upgraded king-sized beds, designed for ultimate comfort, while the kids enjoy their own playroom and sleeping quarters.

Located just a 2-minute walk to a private 1-mile association beach (no stairs required!) and a 5-minute stroll to a public beach, it's the ideal spot for fun in the sun!

This house was perfect. The living room had room for everyone to relax. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. (It even had flower vases, a turkey platter for our Thanksgiving dinner, and cookie sheets with parchment paper for baking cookies on a cold day!) The house was very clean and thoughtfully decorated in a way that was beautiful but still cozy. The hosts were very responsive and kind.Other vacation rental owners could use this property as a model for the the way to do it right!

Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, very well appointed kitchen, great location with private beach access just across the street. Living room fireplace was welcome on some very cool nights. Bruce was a great host and addressed all our questions promptly. We had a great time and highly recommend Driftwood Dunes.

This place was perfect for me and my family! We have three toddlers aged 1-4, and Bruce and the family have outdone themselves when it comes to family convenience. Their kids room was a dream come true for someone on vacation with littles. The toys are clean and organized, they are mostly hard plastic or wooden, which eased this mommaā€™s heart when it comes to things getting broken or damaged. The child amenities are world class, weā€™re talking highchair, booster seat, pack n play, SHEETS for the pack n play if needed, baby gates and more. There were even child plates and cups in the kitchen. The downstairs is a school aged kid or teenagers dream, a TON of board games and video games. The kitchen was fully stocked with any appliance or kitchen utensil we ever needed and plus some. The glassware was easy to clean and they had enough place settings for everyone. They definitely had every family member in mind when designing this property. The house itself was spacious and clean and well taken care of, we enjoyed everyday here and have absolutely zero complaints. We plan to return in the coming years.

This is a great place to stay . Itā€™s so close to the beach. Just a minute walk on the road in front of the cottage .No stairs but a short incline up and then a longer incline down to the beach . A railing would be helpful . There is a short railing on the longer incline down to the beach . Be nice if it was a bit longer for the older folks . We joked that a sled would probably be more useful than a wagon in transporting the beach gear . The road in front of the cottage can get busy . It was especially busy after the coast guard boat parade . The beach was beautiful ! The cottage was very clean and fit our family of 11 well . When I booked the cottage , the 4 th bedroom was not done yet and the kitchen appeared small . The owner is very quick to respond to my many questions and sent up-dated pictures when the bedroom and kitchen were done . I was concerned about the size of the toy room bedroom , but it really was quite roomy . The toy selection got a thumbs up from the younger ones . The toys in the toy room kept the 4 year old and the one year old busy . The basement carpet is very soft , the couches and beds are comfortable . Comfy couches are important to us . Loved the zippered comforters on the bunkbeds .We prepared and ate most of our meals at the cottage . Everything worked . The kitchen is well stocked . Refrigerator is big . Eating space a bit small . The breakfast bar helped a lot . Be nice to enlarge the eating area . ( maybe enclose part of the porch by the k

The property was fantastic! Driftwood Dunes has owners that you can tell want to have a great experience for guests. We cooked almost every meal at the house and the kitchen is extremely well appointed and organized in a fantastic manner. The proximity to the beach access made for an easy walk to enjoy all that Lake Michigan has to offer! The beds were comfortable, house was clean and well maintained. Everything was top notch!

Lake Michigan beach house

Very clean and comfortable house. Great location very short walk to beautiful private community beach. Good book selection at house too (and there are some good bookstores in town)! Family also loved the ping pong table.

Close and Easy Access to Beach

We loved our stay at this cottage! It is clean and very comfortable, stocked with games and toys, all essential utensils in the kitchen, very convenient and comfy bedrooms, lovely finished basement.and great location for time at the beach. Beach access via a path between the cottages across the street is easy for anyone with no physical limitations. It was a breeze for our 4-year-old. but was not possible for two of us who have some mobility issues. BUT, the quick drive to the county park down the street made it feel like it was almost next door. The beach there is wonderful. There is a platform sidewalk that got us close enough to the water's edge that navigating the sandy beach was doable. Thank you, Mary, for sharing this sweet cottage with us!

Perfect Vacation Spot

This home was perfect for our family's stay and so close to the beach...just a few steps down and across the street!! The home itself had great hangout spaces, eating space and nice sized bedrooms. The beds also were very comfortable! Only small thing was...the cottonwood trees.... it was like it was snowing (and it just happened to be while we were there!!) But... seriously a beautiful place!!

Grand Heaven!

We could not have been more happy with the cottage and surroundings. The beach was incredible and so were the nearby parks. Ottawa Sands Lake is a hidden gem. The cottage is no more than a 10 minute drive to almost everything in Grand Haven. We highly recommend this property!
