Traditional Tuscan farmhouse with stunning views

This beautiful farmhouse has been split into two different areas; the upper floor (accessible by a short stair case) is where you will be staying. The ground floor of the farmhouse (also a vacation rental) has completely separate entrance and separate and opposite outdoor space. Belvedere (lit: beautiful view) is situated on a hilltop with breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside with vineyards and olive trees in the immediate vicinity and mountain / forest views in the distance. It’s near enough for ready access to Siena (only 10 minutes drive) yet remote enough for you to enjoy your piece of Tuscan tranquility.
Traditional Tuscan architecture, characterized by terracotta floors & exposed wooden beams is common throughout, including the three spacious bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. A dining table that seats 8 will be the centre of some great feasts and memories or you can choose to eat around the more cosy kitchen table. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, glassware & ceramics, enabling you to cook up your own meals if you so desire.
Come and enjoy the 'Dolce far niente' - the sweetness of doing nothing by grabbing a book, cooking up a meal & playing some chess or cards. Alternatively use this as a base for countless day trips to explore Tuscany & beyond.

This was a charming farmhouse in Tuscany that really captured the kind of rustic experience that we were looking for. Perfectly placed for the touring we wanted to do and walking the hills around us was beautiful the views just perfect. We had a special treat a tour of the 14th century Estate next-door that was really special indeed. Our hosts were responsive to all our needs.

This property is beautiful from its exterior to interior. The views are gorgeous. The kitchen is very well appointed and has every appliance one could need, pots and pans, dishes silverware etc. The hosts are super attentive and responsive. We had a very minor repair that was needed and our hosts sent Lucas over right away to fix it. The laundry facilities were easy to use even if you don’t speak Italian. One comment I would add if your group includes anyone elderly: one of the three bathrooms had some steep stairs which an older person (and perhaps a young child) should avoid. We solved this issue by giving the room with this bathroom to younger members of our otherwise post-aged 65 group. All in all? I highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Loved the spacious farmhouse with amazing views and history. Carola and Adam were so helpful in quickly responding anytime we had a problem. Thank you! But we especially appreciated Kati. Her warm and welcoming help and delicious dinner made us feel right at home. Would love to return.

Belvedere was a perfect choice for our first trip to Tuscany! The location is lovely, the farmhouse is comfortable, well equipped, and exactly like the pictures. The hosts were very responsive to all of our questions, and in getting us set up for amazing dinners made by Kati. You must experience her wood fired pizzas! Pia is also a very experienced and extremely knowledgeable guide. And the views are simply gorgeous!

The farmhouse was such a treat! We felt we were living the true Tuscany experience, especially with views from every window that were mesmerizing. The house was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and it was so nice have access to a washer/dryer. The host was always friendly and quick to reply. She even had someone bring us an outdoor grill so we could cook steaks at the farmhouse one night. Our only complaint was not having enough places to eat near us, but that had nothing to do with this wonderful property.

We absolutely loved our stay at the farmhouse. The tree-lined drive up to the property sets the stage for arrival at what can be described as a magical place. Entering the property felt like stepping back in time. The home is spacious with many highlights, including a beautiful farm table for family meals and gorgeous windows that open up to breathtaking views of rolling Tuscan hills. And the sunsets from the balcony are nothing short of spectacular!We were also very fortunate to have booked a Welcome Dinner with Kati, which meant that the home was filled with wonderful smells upon our arrival! We learned, from the welcome dinner and our cooking class with Kati, that she cooks not only by her nose (that’s how she described her cooking method)… but also from her heart. Her graciousness and warm hospitality made our stay even more special. And her home-cooked meals were delicious and plentiful! Our only regret was not booking the pizza party for our last night!There were a couple of minor hiccups (e.g., the coffee maker didn’t seem to work correctly, the house was a bit low on toilet paper), but we have no doubt that those issues will be remedied by Carola and Adam, who were very responsive, communicative hosts.Our family will forever cherish the memories we made at the farmhouse. It is truly a special place.

Rip Off Artist

The additional services from the "chef" were terrible! We had four people, she charged us for six for breakfast per the agreement... but after breakfast was over she took everything away except the meat platter. Even partially eaten pastries, that's right half eaten pastries were taken. The "chef" gave us the understanding that she would be leaving everything, so we decided to eat small portions to allow us to have extras for the next couple of days. It was a surprise to use when she cleared it all away. We cancelled the cooking class with the chef for the next night (20hrs) in advance. There is no cancellation policy in any of the correspondence! The host is trying to charge me for the full cost of the dinner. I would never stay here again and would never recommend anyone staying here. The host and the "chef" are rip off artist!

Absolutely Breathtaking Views

We just spent 7 days in Tuscany with our friends, and it was spectacular. The Belvedere Farmhouse was the perfect spot for 4 of us, but with a third bedroom we could easily have had 6 people. The house is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the views are indescribable. The photos on VRBO don’t do this beauty justice. It’s much prettier in person. The communication was great. I highly recommend you hire Kati for cooking and a pasta making class!

Awesome stay in Tuscany

If you are going to Siena and Tuscany, this property is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful house surrounded by beautiful views of the countryside. It has everything you need for your stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful. And don’t forget to have Kati prepare a meal for you as an option they provide. It was wonderful. We had an amazing time and are taking away even more amazing memories of this property and our time in Tuscany.

Tuscany farmhouse

6 of us stayed at the farmhouse. We used it as a base to enjoy the many cities in Tuscany. We even had Kati cook us a wonderful 4 course meal on our last night. We also used a guide suggested by Carola. Pia was great. She gave us a 4 hr tour of Siena and an all day wine tour of 3 wineries. If we ever come back to Tuscany, we will rent teh farmhouse again. Thanks Carola and Adam for your hospitality. Sorry about setting off the alarm. Note to self, read all of the directions. LOL. Thanks, Steve, Cathy, Mark, Alana, Steve, and Val.

Under the Tuscan Sun

This is a beautiful place with amazing views. Lots of room for ourselves and our adult children. It was a nice retreat Just wish we could have stayed longer to really relax. We opted for the pizza part with Kati. Kati was lovely and her pizza was amazing. Thank you!

Beautiful Tuscan farmhouse in Siena

This farmhouse was beautifully decorated and very well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for our stay in Siena. The views were spectacular and the property lovely for sitting outside sipping wine and enjoying our time with family. It was quiet and very clean. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay here. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Fantastic farmhouse

We absolutely loved staying at Belvedere! It’s beautiful with stunning views from every window! Our welcome dinner of a pizza party with Kati was so much fun and delicious! The location is perfect- just outside of Siena. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

A Little Bit of Heaven in Tuscany

This charming villa near Siena was the perfect setting for our long-awaited return to Tuscany. Every morning we awoke to beautiful views of the countryside with small villages dotting the landscape, pheasants roaming the adjacent olive grove and the gorgeous blue sky. Although the kitchen may look small in the pictures, it was perfectly adequate for prepping meals and includes a convenient dishwasher. Owners Carola & Adam were quickly responsive to inquiries. And the bonus of tour guide, Pia, living downstairs was a welcome addition. Her tour with us of Siena was spectacular & truly "went beneath the surface"! We had personal chef, Kati, cook 3 wonderful meals during our 10 day stay - you don't want to miss this! She was so much fun & her meals were better than we had in any restaurant. We can't wait to come back again!

A dream of a week at Belvedere farmhouse

I’ll get straight to the point: all the glowing reviews of this property are deserved. 1) The home is very comfortable, charming and well-equipped. 2) The location is spectacular. We couldn’t get enough of the views out the second story windows, the changing light throughout the day highlighting the beauty of the surroundings. 3) The adjunctive optional guide, Pia, and Italian chef, Kati, added so much to the experience. Pia expressed it best: Kati is a force of nature, yet sweet, calm and so, so skilled. If Kati ran a restaurant, it would certainly earn Michelin status. And Pia couldn’t do enough for us. We employed her as our guide through San Gimignano and are quite glad we did. She provides so much extemporaneous humor during her tour as well as a deep history of the town itself. I will be recommending this place to all our family and friends and hope to return to Belvedere one day again soon.

Great family vacation in Tuscany

Belvedere was clean and very comfortable. Farmhouse in the middle of nature offering good WiFi and lots of amenities in a vintage settings.

Beautiful Tuscan Farmhouse

This is a very special house - we couldn't have been happier with it! Communication with the host was great, the house is a step into another, beautiful life. There are views of the Tuscan hills and Siena and cozy beds to sleep in. Can't wait to return!
