Luxurious, spacious family chalet with great views, next to the piste.

The chalet:

The chalet is in a quiet neighbourhood, a 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Morzine. It is modern-built and spacious, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms (one en-suite), and a sauna and shower. The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area is bright, attractive and cosy, with an open fireplace and breathtaking views across to the Alps.

Layout:
Ground floor: entrance; spacious garage that serves as a storage room for skis and boots; sauna and shower; washing machine and dryer; double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

First floor: Open plan living space; large dining area; well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and lounge with open fireplace (firewood included); TV, DVD/blue-ray player (with large collection of films) and radio + iPod dock; double bedroom; bathroom with bath and shower; separate toilet.

Second floor: double bedroom; bedroom with two single beds; large bathroom with bath and shower; separate toilet.

Outdoors:
There is a large terras behind the house and a balcony on two sides with a picnic table where you can enjoy a sunny lunch. There are three private parking spaces. Right next to and behind the house is a slope where the whole familiy or group can enjoy sledding.

Skiing:
The blue piste ‘Retour des Nants’ runs behind the house and it is possible to ski-in, if snowconditions allow. It leads you to the Pleney gondola, and the centre of Morzine, from where you have access to the entire ski area of the "Portes du Soleil". It's an ideal starting place, without having to use a car.
Alternatively, the free Ski Bus takes you to and from the major lifts in the French part of the ‘Portes du Soleil’. There is a busstop right in front of the driveway.

The village:

Morzine is a busy, cosy and pleasant village with a good supermarket, nice shops and a large village square where a lot of activities take place. Every Monday there is a meet-and-greet with live music, and during the winter season you can enjoy an open-air skating-rink. For those who appreciate après-ski, Morzine has many bars and restaurants, a cinema and a nightclub.

Getting here:
Airport: The nearest airport is Geneva, a 1.5hr drive away.
Train: Trains stop at Cluses or Thonon, a 3/4 hr drive from Morzine.
From Geneva, Cluses and Thonon you can get to Morzine by bus, transfer or rental car.

Access for guests: You have access to the whole house.

Please also note: when there is a lot of snow you will need snow chains and/or a 4x4 vehicle to drive up the entrance way.
It is possible to stay here without a car. If the snowconditions are good, you can ski up to the house. There is a busstop in front of the driveway.
