The house was an amazing place for a weekend getaway with plenty of games and space to accommodate the 12 of us. Very good sound insulation so when others needed rest they weren’t disturbed by the rest of the guests. Appreciated the passes to the owners club. Short drive to downtown galena and easy check-in and check-out. 10/10 trip would stay here again for sure.

Luxury on the Green was a great home away from home and base for us to explore the Galena territories. Our 4 kids (aged 16-22) loved the basement bedrooms (each with their own bathroom) and games. The adults (including grandparents) appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, spacious living room and screened porch upstairs. We enjoyed having access to the Galena territories amenities, such as the pools at the Owner’s Club and renting a pontoon at the Marina, as well as other local attractions like mini golf at Chestnut Mountain and shopping on Main Street, where they all found something to buy. Would definitely stay here again!

There were 8 of us adult family members, had SO MUCH fun with the games in the basement, enjoyed the enclosed porch when weather was not great to be outside on the deck, then we had an awesome time enjoying the deck when the weather was good -- after all, it was Wisconsin, different temperatures every day. The sleeping facilities were awesome, bathrooms and kitchens were well stocked. This is THE PLACE to stay in Galena! Wish all VRBOs were as good as this one!!

We had a great stay! The kids had so much fun with all the games in the basement, it gave the adults some much needed visitation time! All the bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and clean and grandma loved the heated mattress pad. We had a wonderful Galena Thanksgiving!

We had an amazing time at this VRBO! The hosts were very communicative and specific which allowed for us to get the most out of our stay. The house was spacious and had a book of recommendations for things to do in Galena which we got to utilize!!

The house was in a great location for our planned activities and very spacious. Having to haul garbage off the property and return back to return access key cards for trash site was very, very inconvenient and a bit irksome given the distance from property and 10;00 am check out time. I’ve no issues hauling trash to a dumpster or location within walking distance of property but an 8 minute drive was extremely inconvenient. Given the charge for cleaning, this trash situation should be a component of housekeeping charge.

Unfortunately, The Galena Territory does not offer curbside trash pickup, so all properties are required to use the local refuse center. We also choose to work with individual cleaners rather than a large corporate service, which means they’re not able to transport trash off-site after each stay. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll continue looking for ways to make this process as smooth as possible for our guests.

Family Reunion

We had a wonderful stay at Austin and Jenny's house. We were having a family reunion to celebrate our parent's anniversary with 11 adults. The house was the perfect size for 5 couples and 1 adult grandchild. The house was very clean and everything was in working order. Check in was very easy. The driveway easily held 5 cars. We cooked most of our meals at the house and there was plenty of dishware, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. The appliances all worked great. It was a great location for exploring the Galena area. We also rented a pontoon boat at the marina and enjoyed exploring Lake Galena.

We came for our nieces wedding in Apple River and our stay for four nights was fantastic! We had our five kids ages 14-27 with two significant others stay. Perfect set up for our family. Master bedroom is on one side of the house on the main floor while the other two bedrooms are located on the other side of the main floor with one full bath. The downstairs was great too! Two full bedrooms with attached bathrooms and plenty of seating and game areas. All the bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup wipes, and of course all the other essentials. The kitchen was stocked well and featured a range with dual ovens (one smaller on the top) which was perfect for late night pizza. Coffee pot was a dual pot for ground coffee or pods. The only minor issue was the size of the master bedroom shower, but is definitely not a deal breaker. We would 100% stay here again!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The house is located a 10 minute drive from the Galena Territory Owners' Club. The Owners' Club Complex has swimming, exercising, basketball/pickleball, and games. As our guest, 6 access cards to the Owners' Club are available. These access cards are needed per person to enjoy the facilities. Parking passes will also be needed to park at the Owners' Club Complex and can be received from their administrative office (free of charge). If more than 6 guests are going to the Owners' Club at the same time, you can purchase a temporary guest pass at the Owners' Club Complex for $5 per person.

Eagle Ridge has 4 championship golf courses nestled throughout the property within a 5 minutes drive (the house is located on one of them!), you are 6.5 miles (11 minutes) to Galena, and 11 miles (21 minutes) to Chestnut Mountain Resort.

The house will be stocked with essentials during your stay. You’ll find two extra rolls of toilet paper, hand soap at each sink, one roll of paper towels in the kitchen, plenty of garbage bags, dishwasher pods, kitchen towels, a sponge, dish soap, and additional hand soap. The kitchen has eighteen plates to support groups large and small. We provide a container of ground coffee and filters for the drip coffee maker, along with Keurig pods. There’s also a newer washer and dryer, complete with laundry detergent and dryer sheets.

A set of Callaway Edge right handed men's golf clubs are available for rental for $50 per stay.

There is one incline coming into the property off the main road.

As there is no garbage pickup within the Galena Territory, we ask bring the garbage to the refuse center.

Please note that we are not able to offer refunds or reimbursements for service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, power outages, or other acts of nature.

This is our home away from home and we ask that you treat it with respect. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as we do!
