This is a single-family, 2 story home in Green Oak Township, Michigan, with a Brighton address. It features 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and 2.5 baths. The master bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom, and a walk-in closet. The home has an open kitchen and dining area featuring stainless steel appliances, a large island, coffee maker, and is stocked with cookware essentials and utensils, ideal for prepping your tailgating snacks!

The home sits on approximately an acre of land. It is directly across the street from The Legacy Center, the largest youth sports complex in Michigan. The Legacy Center hosts tournaments year-round, attracting families and sports enthusiasts. The front porch overlooks one of the baseball diamonds, providing a great vantage point to follow a game right from the comfort of the house.

The property is a 2-minute drive from US-23. Located halfway between Lansing and Detroit, and 20 minutes from Ann Arbor, makes it ideal for business travelers or those exploring nearby cities.

For those looking to enjoy the outdoors, the Brighton Recreation Area is nearby, offering numerous opportunities for hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities. Additionally, Mt. Brighton is close by for winter sports enthusiasts looking to hit the slopes.

Guests enjoy free WiFi and a smart TV for streaming. Guests can log in with their own accounts to popular streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video. The home is equipped with a NEST thermostat for easy temperature control, and the front door features keyless entry with a door code, making late-night arrivals easy and ensuring secure check-in.

Guests have access to the full home, except for the basement and garage. Guests are also free to make use of the back yard and deck.

We live about an hour away from the property, but we are always available to assist. Guests can reach us by call, email, or text—text is the best method for general questions. While we do our best to respond promptly, please note that we both work full-time jobs and response times may vary. In case of emergencies, we are always available by phone. We will provide a temporary door code via text or email, which you can use for entry during your stay, using the keypad on the front door.

Maximum Occupancy:
We plan on sleeping up to 6 guests, with the potential to expand to 8 guests at a later date with a sleeper sofa either in the master bedroom or living room.

Laundry:
Please note that laundry facilities are not available at this time.

Water:
This property is on a well and has a water softener. There is filtered water in the fridge as well.

Cleaning:
The home is professionally cleaned in-between guest stays.

Accessibility:
There are no additional features to make this property handicap friendly.

Outdoor Wildlife:
There is a very friendly chipmunk who lives under the porch. Please leave him alone and do not harm him. If you'd like, you may feed him the unsalted peanuts we provide. Additionally, there is possibly a possum living in the wood pile—please do not disturb it. We appreciate your respect for our local wildlife.

Internet/Wi-Fi Usage:
There are no restrictions on Wi-Fi usage. The Wi-Fi password will be provided upon booking, and it will also be posted in the kitchen for your convenience.

Families with Children:
This home is perfect for families, especially since it's directly across the street from The Legacy Center. Children are very welcome! However, please ensure they are supervised, particularly around the fire pit, stairs, and outdoor areas.

Compost Bin:
There is a compost bin out back. Guests are not permitted to put anything in it or open it.

Fire Pit:
Guests are welcome to use the fire pit, but fires must not be left unattended. There is a large pile of sticks and wood on the south side of the backyard that can be used in the fire pit.

Damage and Missing Items:
Guests will be held responsible for any missing or damaged items during their stay. Please treat the property and its contents with care to avoid any additional charges.
