Amazing experience with the house and the host! Went here for my bachelorette and they made the process seamless and we all felt super welcome and taken care of. I will absolutely stay here again and can’t recommend it enough!

There was some difficulty getting into the property which resulted in a few messages and phone calls before it was resolved. In total that took about 15-20 minutes. The location and neighborhood were great. Easy walk to the subway with lots of restaurants near by. We did have to search to find extra toilet paper and there were no washcloths provided so be mindful of that. There was plenty of room of all of us and having two bathrooms was ideal.

It's all about location, and this is as good as it gets without the hassle of manhattan. House is older but clean. Bedrooms were good size with ample storage. Beds were comfortable and bedding was fresh. Common areas of living room, dining room & kitchen were ample and accomodated 6 adults comfortably. Only negative is the street parking which can get complicated with the school drop off areas, the street cleaning schedule and tons of construction aroud. Luckily after the first night, we found a parking lot that cut us a deal for the rest of the stay with in/out access as we needed. That made the rest of the stay much less stressful. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, and easy access to all the NYC attractions & public transport. The owner/agent was very responsive prior to arrival. Self check-in was super simple. And we did not run into any issues during the stay. I highly recommend the property as a perfect base for days/nights out on the town, and a place to get your rest after.

Overall we liked the house and it’s very convenient in location. Comfortable beds. Plenty of common space. One of two toilets kept having minor plumbing issues. Hot water heater didn’t work at all our last day. Nice to have washer and drier. Bring your own laundry detergent.

There was no replacement toilet paper. I had to buy it. No wash clothes. We couldn’t get the stovetop to work.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that a courtesy starter supply of toilet paper was provided upon arrival, as is standard for short-term stays. Additional supplies are the guest’s responsibility. Regarding the stovetop, we wish this had been communicated during your stay, as we would have gladly assisted in troubleshooting or resolving the issue promptly. We also appreciate your note regarding the washcloths and will review this with housekeeping.

Spacious and very clean house, perfect for visiting with our son and having a place to gather around a large table and relax in a comfy living room. The place is as large as the photos indicate - no tricks. XAVIER IS FANTASTIC, helping us get in on arrival, offering to arrange transportation to LGA on departure, very responsive to all requests.

Great stay in Long Island City

Our group consisted of 5 women in the city for a family bridal shower. This unit met our needs perfectly. The beds were all very comfortable, plentiful hot water, and a cool long dining table to eat together or just sit around and chat. We had everything we needed and access to transportation nearby. Our one request for extra towels was satisfied extremely quickly (within 5 minutes). We highly recommend this house and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing

Location is super close to Manhattan/Astoria, 15-20 mins. Accessible to all the subways. Very safe to walk home after midnight. Plenty of places to eat within 5-10 mins walk. House is spacious and has old school charm. Host was very responsive and thoughtful, couldn’t have picked a better place.

Big Space in a Big City

I was in Queens for my daughter's wedding and wanted to be able to host a dinner and a brunch for our family and her new husband's family. This space was perfect for that. Lots of space to hang out in, two bathrooms, laundry and a functioning kitchen. . . all of which are so hard to find in NYC. Plus the host was helpful and kind. This is a gem if you want to host a lot of people in the city.

Comfortable flat

Comfortable and spacious. Well equipped kitchen, good washing machine and dryer. The picture of the inside is misleading in that it is very.dark on the ground floor. No information on local facilities like shops. But for a large family it has lots of space and is convientiently located.dark insideVery close to subway

Great for groups!

The communal living spaces on the first floor were spacious. We would have breakfast together as a family in the morning. All the A/Cs worked which was key for these very warm and humid days. Upstairs, the beds were comfortable. Yes, some of the finishes are older, but I've lived in NY before and know that it's also part of the charm. For the price for our group of 7, it was a great deal. The place was nice and close to the subway. Delis near by were great for sandwiches in a pinch. We also got dinner from John Brown BBQ a block away which was delicious. Host was very kind and left us amend our reservation and issued a refund.

The house is lovely and exactly as advertised. However, we had to ask 3 times for check in instructions which were finally sent after 3pm the day of arrival. When we arrived at 1am that night, we were unable to open the door indicated using the code provided. After calling the host multiple times we learned that the instructions sent were to a different unit and that we’d been given the wrong door code. We were able to get in at that point and had no more issues for the rest of the stay.

We were pretty well-located, out of the major hubbub of downtown (we were there over New Years Eve) with food, restaurants and metro about a 5 minute walk away. Storage in the main bedroom was lacking and it felt a bit rundown. However, the space was comfortable for the 6 of us. The main issue we had was finding garbage gone through and food on the counter and their packaging eaten by either a mouse or more likely a rat. The garbage can did not have a lid. There was poop on the little shelves right next to the bean bag chair by the fireplace. When I contacted the manager, all he said was « are you telling me there are mice »? I said yes, and didn’t hear back. Disappointing, but we were only there for a few days and made do.
