Enjoy amazing views from every room. Situated in the new Water's Edge lake community, this charming home has a 'wow' factor that you must see to believe.
Bringing your own boat? Nearby marina walking distance with available slip at $20-25 per day. Trailer storage also available next to boat slip since watercraft or trailers are not permitted at the house.
The main level:
-den with soaring ceilings, stone fireplace with remote controlled gas logs, large HDTV with DirecTV service, HDMI input wire for personal devices, Wii game system, DVD player, stereo system, comfy sofa, leather recliner, club chairs and ottomans for relaxing.
-well stocked kitchen with spacious rustic cherry cabinets, fully equipped for preparing meals
-separate dining area open to kitchen area with pine ceilings
-half bath separate from Master bath.
-master suite with king size bed, double doors to lake side deck
-master bath with double vanity, natural stone flooring and large shower, separate toilet room. Master walk-in closet.
-garage with washer/dryer and utility sink, games, floats, 2 kayaks, life vests, 2 adult bicycles with helmets.
Second Floor:
-"second master" with king size bed, incredible view of lake and mountains, with private access to 2nd floor full bath and walk-in closet
-private Loft bedroom with queen sized bed, lake and mountain views- plus views of cattle and horses on nearby hilltop.
-loft overlooking den, with lake and mountain views.
-second bathroom with vanity, tub/shower, natural stone tile
-Bonus Room/game room with 2 twin beds, pull-out sofa bed, pool table & ping-pong topper for pool table, Play station game system/ TV with HDMI input for personal devices.
Outside:
-lakeside deck with gate, outdoor fireplace, covered porch & open deck area for sunning or gas grilling, hammock (stored in garage). Sit for hours in comfy seating and enjoy the lake and mountain views as they change before your eyes. No outdoor stereo or sound system, or parties in keeping with preserving the peaceful Water's Edge community
-Huge community green-space just three steps down from the deck. perfect for a game of catch, croquet, bocce ball, or corn hole: games stored in garage
-easy, gentle walk to beautiful lake

Our host was wonderful at communicating with us when needed! The accommodations were top notch, everything you could ever need and very clean! The home looks like the pictures with amazing sunsets over the lake! A terrific area to go for morning walks and everything is nearby in Hayesville Or Hiawassee. We highly recommend this home!!

Lake house

This home was used for family visiting the area and they thoroughly enjoyed it! The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need to fully enjoy all the comforts of home and the water.

We absolutely loved staying here! The beauty of the lake and mountains cannot be beat. The house was well equipped/furnished with everything you need! Our kids enjoyed playing pool, ping pong, fishing, and kayaking. The owner was responsive throughout, which I appreciate. We hope to come back!

Another great experience!

John is awesome to work with and the house is beautiful with a great view. This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed here for Memorial Day. Good stuff.

YaYa Run Away!

Absolutely loved this house! Left planning our return! The host was over the top with communication! This house is listed as 5 bedrooms; we could only find 4! Extremely well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and tons of lake toys! One of the best rentals we have found!

Family Reunion

This home was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. It met the needs of adults and children alike. Many wonderful memories were made. We hope to make a return visit one day. Communication with John was superb!

All You Could Ask For And More

This property checked off all the boxes, location, ammenities and activities. We have vacationed all over the Southeast, Midwest and New England and without a dobt this was the best property we have ever stayed at. My family talked nonstop about coming back.

Another Great Stay at Lake Chatuge

Beautiful, clean, everything you need!

I am very particular about cleanliness and was impressed at how clean this home was! The grounds are lovely, so much space for our boys to run and play! The wood burning fireplace on the porch was amazing, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfy and the living room has plenty of seating for everyone to spread out! There’s lots of games and puzzles in the cabinets, and a ping pong and pool table…we were never bored. But we loved being outside enjoying the view most of all! The neighborhood is quiet! Great location- 10 mins to downtown Hayesville and 15 to hiawassee. John was great to work with and always quick to respond! We look forward to staying here again soon! *Just a quick note that the listing says there are 5 bedrooms…there are 5 BEDS, in 4 rooms. Not a big deal for us, but it was a bit confusing. *Also, know that this property does ask that you load and run the dishwasher, start a load of towels, adjust the temp, strip the beds, etc. before you leave in the morning.

Spring Break on the Lake

This property was exactly as described with everything that you could possibly need and more. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away for the weekend or to spend a week at the lake. It was great!!

Upscale Lakehouse with a View

We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at your beautiful lake home. Loved the fact it had two Master suites with King size beds. The covered back porch with a fireplace overlooking the lake was breathtaking as we were relaxing in the comfortable outdoor seating watching and feeling the wooden fire flickering in the fireplace as the evening became night. The front porch had two rockers with a great view. Looking out from every window was a wonderful view from all angles. The house felt like it was in a very safe and beautiful environment. While we were there, we played games and several rounds of pool on the pool table and ping-pong table as well. The furnishings inside were very nice and comfortable. The inside gas fireplace was a very nice touch. Kitchen was well stocked, and the bedding was extremely comfortable. John was very helpful in all aspects of making sure we had a relaxing and enjoyable time while we were there. He was terrific. I would definitely recommend this upscale Lakehouse!!!! Dawn Hoard, GA

Beautiful Property with Lake View

This was our second time staying here and we absolutely love it! The house is immaculate, beds are super comfy and the location is perfect! The owner is very responsive as well. Kitchen is well stocked with all cooking and grilling needs. Outdoor fireplace is a nice feature on those cooler evenings! We had no issues and stayed for a month! Had friends come for a while, family for a while and plenty of room for all. Only 6 overnight guests allowed and no pets.

Spring Break

We had the very best time at this beautiful place!!! The house was very clean and organized with everything we needed for our stay!!! Although we didn’t need the owners for anything, they reached out to make sure everything was perfect and to let us know they were there for us if we had any question or if we needed anything.. My only question is, where did you get everything that made up the most heavenly master bed?! It was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!!!!

Mountain Lake Getaway

My wife, four kids (6, 10, 11,13), and I stayed in this lovely lake home on Chatuge. From the time we inquired about some questions pre-book until check out, there was great communication with the owner. They made things very easy and welcoming! Our kids loved the games provided and smores outside on the porch overlooking the lake. The house is stocked with anything you'd need inside or out. We highly recommend this home!

Grandsons first bday in Hayesville

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waters Edge! I hesitate to give too good of a review because we will definitely be staying here again! One of the best VRBO or (the others guys!) properties we have ever stayed at. Can’t wait to come back in the summer!

The View -just peaceful

Our family felt very comfortable. The water was down-which is normal for winter time but still really nice views of the water and the mountains! We had everything we needed.

Christmas Break Get-a-way

We got away for a few days before Christmas to unplug and spend some time together. Our boys play soccer and loved the open space out back. We brought them some pop-up goals and they spent an hour or so out there everyday of our stay. The pool and ping-pong tables were a big hit as well. The boys loved having their own big beds and rooms. It was a great spot for us and we look forward to visiting again in warmer weather so we can utilize the lake a little more.

Great House

Swinging on the hammock with the beautiful view was amazing, and we enjoyed the pool table and video games! The house was clean and well-stocked with water activity supplies.

Beach vacations are great but we just love the lake. We have enjoyed many lakes in the southeast but the first time we visited Chatuge we knew we had found the perfect lake.
Our house is located in the Water's Edge Community and we chose to build here because we wanted to enjoy all of the beauty and amenities it has to offer.
Within 2 and a half hours of our home in Atlanta, it is easy to get to and a scenic, therapeutic drive along the way. The views from the lake of the surrounding mountains are truly remarkable and unique. The lake is large but not too crowded. We feel safe as we enjoy a variety of water sports.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This cottage home has a layout that really works well for our family. It is well built, charming and clean; comfortable and with enough room for everyone to have space to relax. The views are even more stunning than when we began construction. Close proximity to the water is a real plus. The more we visit Lake Chatuge, Hayesville, and Hiawassee, the more amazing things we find that there are to do.
