Designed for comfort and connection, Bear Hug Cabin offers over 1,000 square feet of cozy cabin living space with room for up to 5 guests.

Please note: The second bedroom includes a small loft area accessed by ladder. The loft is not intended for sleeping and may not be suitable for young children or guests with mobility concerns.

Enjoyed cabin time

We had a great time at the cabin. The trails at the Beaver Bend State Park followed by stay at the cabin was very memorable. We enjoyed hot tub bath there.

House was clean, plenty of towels. Host was very responsive anytime I messaged them.Couldn’t get the tv to work in bedroom with loft. Hot tub was great. Lights didn’t work and a couple of the corner seats missing the head rest pads. I would like to have some kind of cleaner to use to keep it tidy and clean after using counters or kitchen table.

Good cabin, great location. Saw cockroach nymphs throughout our first day, host had to call exterminators our second. Then tried to tell me that the cockroaches were to be blamed on guests (from his text to me: “These types of cockroaches do not come from the environment, they hitchhike with people, in groceries, or in luggage... unfortunately some people who come through are not as thorough at home or where they come from.") Do with that what you will.

Our cabin is certainly not new and shiny like many of the new cabins in the area. But,we provide a clean fully stocked rustic cabin in a great location all at value prices that newer cabins don’t offer. We have everything other cabins have without a big price tag. Our furniture is all in working order or we would most certainly have replaced it.

Very cute cabin with Hot Tub. Had everything we needed. Definitely enjoyed our time there!! The only recommendation is to mop the floor for new guest. I wiped the floor with a paper towel and it seemed like the floor hasn't been mopped recently. Otherwise no complaints. I recommend it.

The TV needs a code. You can't log on unless you know the code for the remote. The Hot tub was dirty a bunch of leaves inside. The water was dirty and smelled terrible. The couch sits 2 people is old and uncomfortable. There's no water pressure in the shower. Other than that everything is fine.

Our TV is set up for guests to access popular streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, and others without requiring a special access code, and we would have been glad to assist if there were any questions. Our hot tub is professionally drained, cleaned, sanitized, and refilled after every guest, but if there had been an issue during your stay, we would have addressed it immediately. We’ve also since verified the water pressure and found everything to be operating normally. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to provide every guest with a five-star experience.

We have been hosting families at our cabins in Broken Bow and Hochatown for last 4 years. What started 15 years ago with a fishing trip to Beavers Bend State Park has turned into the most enjoyable part of doing life with family and friends. My wife, Dawn and grown kids, Kailey and Austin have enjoyed countless adventures over the years in Southeastern Oklahoma as we escape Dallas/Fort Worth to spend time in our Happy Place.

We love to host couples and families at our properties and always strive to ensure a unique stay with lasting memories. Our favorite activities are hiking, fishing, boating and of course just relaxing in nature.
