Welcome to your peaceful mountain getaway! Our cozy 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath cabin sits on a private 2-acre lot surrounded by nature — just minutes from downtown Dahlonega, local restaurants, shopping, wineries, hiking trails, and fishing spots.
Relax on the huge covered front porch, perfect for morning coffee or evening chats in the fresh mountain air. Out back, unwind on the spacious deck with comfortable seating and a Blackstone grill, ideal for cooking and dining outdoors.
Inside, every detail has been thoughtfully designed for comfort — from the bright, cheerful decor to the fully equipped kitchen and cozy living spaces. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway, a girls’ trip, or a quiet escape, you’ll feel right at home the moment you walk in.
For your safety and peace of mind, outdoor security cameras are installed on the exterior of the cabin. The road leading to the cabin can be a little bumpy — just drive slow and take in the beautiful scenery along the way. An SUV or truck is recommended, but not required.

Thank you so much for staying with us! We’re so glad you enjoyed the coziness of the cabin. Our road is a privately maintained gravel road, and unpaved roads are pretty common around Dahlonega, especially in the more wooded and rural areas. The road conditions can definitely vary depending on the weather, and we had quite a bit of rain leading up to your stay, which can make the road a little bumpier than usual. We appreciate you mentioning it and hope you’ll come back and see us again!

Oh wow… this will be long, but I hope I am on the mark to say these things….. property and every communication with host was top notch….the interior decorator has an amazing variety of taste…. Loves art , loves bling and pink , photography … retro…. Can’t say enough good…. Also saw some wildlife…. Also was glad to be able to watch the sporting events … Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves!! would certainly recommend !!!

Suger Pine Cabin was fantastic. We traveled over 3 weeks and 4 VBRO's. The Sugar Pine cabin was the nicest and best equipped of all our accommodations. Communications were very good and we enjoyed the breakfast recommendations.

This cabin is perfection! Decorated so lovely, and well appointed. The king bed is incredibly comfortable. Katherine was very responsive and thoughtful. This getaway was exactly what I needed, and Dahlonega is better than I had hoped. The ONLY drawback for me was the road to the cabin: very narrow and rough. I was incredibly grateful that I didn’t run into someone going in the opposite direction!

The cabin was in a perfect location to get a good mountain feel. The inside was decorated so cute. Very clean and very easy to communicate with the host. If we come back to Dahlonega I’ll be booking this place again.

Sugar Pine Cabin was fabulous! Excellent host, Kathrine checked on us multiple times and made sure everything went well during our stay. Cabin was decorated beautifully, beds so comfortable, cozy fireplace, and had everything we could possibly need. Great Christmas decor for a perfect December stay, we loved that extra touch. Located close to town square and lovely wineries. Outside solo fire pit is really nice. We would definitely stay at Sugar Pine again.

Beautiful hidden gem

This is a beautiful cabin that offers privacy and fun! The decor is so cute and comfy! Love the great sitting areas outside on the porch, deck , and sideyard with firepit. The host was wonderful and very responsive. I would absolutely recommend this place I will be back!

House was nice, newly renovated, fun interior. Site location was secluded, lots of good firewood. Access road was rough and dusty for about a mile, that is the only disadvantage.

“Had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The place was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. Nothing but good things to say....

Beautiful, cozy cabin in a convenient location not far from town . Not only is it beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, but the host provided thoughtful touches that made our stay even more comfortable....games, firewood and even the makings for smores! We enjoyed our mother/ daughter weekend and look forward to booking again in the future!
