Modern Cloudland Cabin, 1.5 miles of private trails through 10 acres of woodland

Newly finished in 2025, hand built 400 sq/ft cabin in the woods with two huge 6ft x 6ft windows looking out into the woods. This cabin is a labor of love - 90% of the wood used in the build was milled on site. The wood is as local as it gets, harvested from trees directly on the property. Located on 10 acres with several small ponds, you'll have direct access to 1.5 miles of private trails to hike or bike through a varied woodland terrain. Relax on the covered patio, or explore the area. Just 2 minutes to Cloudland Canyon State Park, 30 minutes to Chattanooga, 25 minutes to Rock City. In an effort to help unplug there is no Wifi, but there is a selection of DVDs, books, and games. Cell service is good and the cabin is accessed from a short (150ft) dirt driveway, and a 250 ft lighted walking trail from the parking area. Cabin amenities include an induction cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, and full size refrigerator as well as full size laundry. The cabin is private but you may be visited by our free ranging chickens, curious cat “Claire” or some of the many deer. Also, our family of 4 (two young children) live in the main house (250 ft away). Access and parking are separate.
