** HOT TUB** Bankhead Hideaway is a private rustic cabin with a cozy bedroom featuring a king bed, a modern bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette, and a comfortable living room with a sofa bed. Located in Bankhead National Forest near Moulton, AL, it is the perfect base for exploring Alabama's National Wild and Scenic Sipsey River and incredible hiking trails with stunning waterfalls! Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, 55 in televisions, dedicated workspace, Coffee Bar and snacks, a washing machine, AC, heating, and a hair dryer during your stay! We are a dog friendly - but we ask if your dog is accustomed to lying on furniture such as beds, couches, etc., that you bring blankets or sheets to cover those areas. Also, please bring towels to wipe muddy paws. We don't have the storage/laundry facility to store extra towels/blankets for pets.

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing getaway. Leah was welcoming and quick to reply to any messages. The cabin and amenities were clean and well maintained. We will definitely visit again!

We had the most amazing stay at this cabin! Everything about it was perfect from the moment we walked in. The cabin was incredibly clean, beautifully put together, and had absolutely everything we needed for our trip. You can really tell how much thought and care the host has put into making guests comfortable.The location was peaceful and relaxing, and it was the perfect place for my husband and me to get away and recharge. Every little detail in the cabin made it feel welcoming and cozy. I can honestly say this is one of the most well-kept and thoughtfully prepared rentals we have ever stayed in. Mrs. Leah was also so kind and wonderful to communicate with.We will 100% be back hopefully yearly if not more! Highly recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Spent Thanksgiving at Bankhead hideaway cabin for three days. The cabin was great they provided everything you could need and then some. Plenty of fire pit options with two on property, hot tub plenty of open space for a morning walk or to let the pups play in. Very quiet the host was great left us two gift of two bottles of wine and a s’more’s kit.

This was a beautiful place to stay! Lots of amenities and things to do. So thankful for the host, Leah, and her wonderful communication and guestbook that had all the instructions and answers we need! Would definitely come back to stay in the future, the vrbo was cozy and homey, which is exactly what my husband and I were looking for! Literally no complaints at all, felt safe and we had the freedom to do what we wanted at the vrbo, whether it be get in the hot tub, walk on the property, or just sit inside and spend time together.

This was a perfect long weekend getaway! Leah was so quick to respond and the cabin is incredible. Literally everything you could need is there. The hot tub was so awesome and the front porch was perfect. We will be making this an annual trip

We could not have found a nicer cabin or better host if we searched for months!!!! Leah is the absolute best! Instantly available and over the top in attention to details!The cabin is idyllically located and so quiet!Hot tub super clean and there are multiple fire pits on land. I had a campfire every night! Did I mention a pond?Property is near many gorgeous trails with many easy trails for us retirees!!!A must stay if you love the cabin life!!

Perfect retreat

This place was wonderful. Adorable cabin on a quiet road. The location being on the edge of the national forest is very handy if you enjoy hiking. They have everything you need to cook a little meal. We will definitely stay again in the future.

My parents really enjoyed their stay. Leah was great! Communicated every step of the way. She even made sure my parents had videos on instructions for the jacuzzi. She went above and beyond. 10 out of 10!

perfect location for hiking

This is a perfect spot for a secluded get away. 15 minutes from the town center and maybe 20 minutes to some of the more popular hiking trails in Bankhead. The host has some excellent recommendations for places to eat and things to do around Moulton AL. The location was clean and everything pictured was accurate. Everything worked and there were a lot of thoughtful touches throughout the cabin.

Exactly what we were needing

We were in town for a friend’s wedding and preferred not to stay in a hotel. This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, comfortable, and so peaceful! Leah was extremely accommodating and lovely to chat with. Would definitely stay again if we need a place while visiting our friends.

Bankhead Hideaway

Amazing cabin in the perfect location! Cabin was extremely clean and all amenities were as described. Host was very kind and had very good communication- keeping us updated on anything that was necessary throughout our stay. Would absolutely book again.

Heavenly Hideaway

Overall, just amazing! Beautiful, quaint, quiet slice of paradise. The hot tub was the selling point, especially after tackling the endless number of trails in the area. If you want the most in privacy, peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The host was extremely accommodating and wanted nothing more than our happiness. We'll definitely be back!!

This cabin is a piece of perfection tucked away in a perfect spot. The cabin is very clean, comfortable, and give a relaxing home feeling. It has mix of privacy, and at the sametime its open and not conjested. During the day the sun warms and lights the cabin just right inside and out. If you close the blinds the cabin feels like movie night during the day. The hot tub on the deck, and the lights inside & out gives off the ultimate vide. This makes you not want to leave the cabin. Leah is a GREAT host and has the cabin setup to the point. Shebeven left a bottle of local wine, that set the stay.You are not disturbed, and the pictures of it. Really dont do this cabin any justice. I will be making this a regular stay location to get away.

This place has a great location with a large yard surrounded by woods . It is on a gravel road off 33 but very close to Moulton downtown. It is a new cabin with unique setup with washer that dries , a convection oven with a cooktop . A lot packed into a small space. Concrete floor with rugs that might not be such a great idea with dogs. I rolled them all up before bringing in the dogs(service dog training). Lots of hiking nearby in Bankhead Forest and Sipsey River area. We didn't get to enjoy much outside as the heat and humidity was over 100 but it would be great in the fall. Overall an excellent place and we will rent it again.

A perfect place for a getaway

This property is exactly as advertised. It is quiet, but not isolated. You are close to lots of hiking. The cabin has everything you will need for a lovely stay. A word of advice: bring in all your groceries! It’s a ways away from the nearest store. And once you’re there you won’t want to leave anyway. Positives I wasn’t expecting: strong WiFi; really good water pressure; hot tub and fire pit; well thought out kitchen essentials. Negatives: can’t think of any!
