Our stay was absolutely wonderful and the perfect setting for our daughter’s bachelorette weekend! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. You guys truly thought of every detail, which made our stay feel so welcoming and stress-free.Even though it rained the entire weekend, we still had an amazing time and were able to make the most of our celebration thanks to such a cozy and well-appointed home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special getaway!

My two sisters and I brought our 92-year-old mom to Nellysford to celebrate her birthday.I was looking for a place with easy access which it totally was. We played cards and games outside on the table while enjoying the outdoors. Luckily it wasn’t buggy at all. Daniel got back with me promptly with some questions I had. The only thing that was kind of creepy was not being able to close shades or curtains in the living area at night time. Room darkening shades in all bedrooms would be nice, too.Beds were comfortable- lofty pillows I also like - and missed having a nightlight in the bathroom. We had a very nice celebration 10 out of 10

The place was perfect for 15 of us on a Bachelorette trip! Plenty of beds/ bathrooms and we loved the shared common space. The road in is a bit tricky but we were all fine, including the driver of our rented bus for winery tours.

We rented this home for our annual family ski weekend. The home is very spacious, with large bedrooms that easily accommodated our group. It’s extremely well-equipped—we truly had everything we could have ever needed during our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with quality items, which made settling in easy.The kids loved spending time playing the board games, while the teens and adults enjoyed the pool table, making for great family time. The secluded location made it feel like a peaceful getaway, yet it was still just a short drive to Wintergreen resort. Although we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space due to the cold weather, it was a very nice area that would be perfect for warmer months. The home was also conveniently located near stores, breweries, and wineries, making it an ideal destination during the warmer months.Overall, this rental was fantastic, balancing comfort, space, and convenience. The owners thoughtfully created a space that provides enjoyment for families and friend groups. We would absolutely stay here again!

Overall, this property is nice, but with some issues. It has a great layout, plenty of tables/seating, privacy, & easy parking. The kitchen is big/well stocked. The owner is the best communicator of any VRBO property owner I have rented from. I did not mention these issues to him while there, because we didn’t think they could be resolved during our stay, and we didn’t want contractors at the property. Based on what I’ve seen of the owner, I expect he will address these things:1)The 2 rooms with king sized beds have walk-in showers. There is no shelving & no handholds (not even a shower door…just a curtain). Everything needs to be put on the floor (even your bar of soap) and the floor is VERY slippery. With no handholds & a slippery floor, it was treacherous & unsafe. I was in one of these bedrooms and managed to get by (with lots of caution), but the person in the other king bedroom took one shower in there & declined to use that shower again.2)The pool table is in horrible shape. Both cushions on the end rails are dislodged. The felt over these cushions is intact, but the bumper cushions beneath were out of place, and anytime a ball hit there, it would jump up in the air and rebound at an odd angle. Unfortunately, we only rent places that have pool tables, and this is our nighttime activity. This pool table was unacceptable. 3)This one's an easy fix, but one of the fan remote controls in one of the bedrooms was either broken or had a dead battery.

This space blends beautiful design with family-friendly functional space. With a chic, industrial feel inside, we stayed true to our passion of incorporating cozy in the heart and soul of a place. And we hope you’ll enjoy it. “Chez Moi” is French for ‘at my place,’ so welcome! and we hope you’ll feel right at home here.

Layout

Left side of the house: two king bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom with double vanity. One king bedroom with adjoining master bath and walk-in shower.

Right side of the house: one king bedroom with master bath and walk-in shower. A Jack and Jill bathroom join a king bedroom and the bunk room. Bunk room sleeps 9 with 3 full beds and 3 twins.

Center / main living area: fully stocked kitchen with large island, bar seating, dining area, recreational / billiards area with high top table seating, additional seating area, and a large tv area with views to the outdoor courtyard and pergola.
