Fishing, winery tours with tastings, and Mountain Biking are among the fun things to do. You can enjoy white water rafting. Great property with trees, and mountain areas around. this property will not disappoint!!!!!

First/Ground Floor: bedroom, a full bathroom (not handicapped), and sitting room with pool table.
Second Floor: 4 bedrooms, 3 baths
Third Floor: kitchen, dining with breakfast nook, living room, sun room, and 1 bedroom and full bath. Beautiful open deck overlooking the ski slope

Went to Beech Mountain with four friends. The house was very clean and had plenty of room for everyone. The owner was easy to contact and quick to answer questions. Great location that was very convenient to several great restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

The best place on Beech Mtn!

We had 3 familys- 4 adults and 8 kids with room to spare. Best communication we have ever had with a property owner. He is highly accomodating and hands on making our stay a breeze. Additionally, this is the aboslute best location on Beech Mountain. Walk to Pizza, Brewpub, Tubing hill and Freds. Truly ski in ski out, 10 feet from the terrain park. Stay here an not move your car for the entire trip. We cannot wait to come back!

Great House, Great Location on the slope and proximity to Fredā€™s and Pizza

Large Family group came for 4 days. House is Big. Location couldnā€™t be better. Ski in/Ski out was fantastic. Great communication with Owner and his rep. Small hiccup with starter supplies (toilet paper , paper towels and hand and body soap - all remedied by next morning. Basement is pretty cold. Anyone staying in Bedroom down there must use the heater and be warm natured .House could use a little TLC but all minor , mostly paint splotches and knocked up walls And dirty ceiling fans. Mainly cleaning crew things. All addressed with owners rep, several toilets than run constantly. Owner made aware . Kitchen well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots , pans , utensils and glasses needed for full on cooking , which we did for this Large hungry group. We needed steak knives and the house didnā€™t have any , but owners rep brought them to us within a few hours. Fortunately we realized it at lunch , well before dinner. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC for non skiers to sit in several large areas on top floor to visualize the slopes. Very warm and cozy. Loved the gas fireplace. It was super cold, snowing and very windy. We kept huddled up to the fire . Beds were comfortable . All in all we would absolutely stay here again. A Hot tub would be the only fantastic bonus ! We had a Ball.

Great location and home

Loved staying at the Hobbs house. Location was fantastic, walking distance to restaurants and general store. If your skiing, you are right on the slopes. House had all the amenities you needed including a large gathering room with fireplace and wonderful views. Highly recommend staying here.

Awesome house

This house is perfect for a large group. Located right on the slopes of Beech Mountain. Right across the street is a ski rental place, a small grocery and a pizza/wings restaurant. We have stayed in this house twice. Large living room and kitchen. The sunroom is perfect for relaxing and watching the skiers. The kids love the pool table in the downstairs. Weā€™ll be back next year!

Excellent location!

This home has great placement on Beech Mountain for those wishing to ski out the back door. The living area is extremely spacious and allows wonderful views of the ski slopes from the kitchen and living room area. You may even get to see someone in your party coming down the slopes. The house stays warm on every level of the home for your comfort. There is a pool table and ā€œhang outā€ room on the ground floor of the house for the younger crew. The beds all sleep well, especially the king beds. The kitchen has lots of room for cooking at the house if you wish, gas stove. You can also also walk across the street to grab some pizza or walk right down the road for a loaf of bread at Fredā€™s. Super convenient location no doubt. There are lots of steps in the house, itā€™s 3 levels. So if you have someone unable to manage steps, keep that in mind. There is a bedroom on the bottom floor- but steps to reach the kitchen area. But nice to space out and have privacy if needed. This is a winner of a home for its wonderful location and space! Not fancy or fussy at all- but itā€™s location and spacious offerings are its strongest points. Also great showers and water pressure!

Beech Mt 2023

This is a great house with so much room and PERFECT location. We had 5 adults and 7 kids. Everybody had a bed. Beds were comfy. We rented skiā€™s right across the street - so convenient. Loved the sun room with view of ski slope. 1st floor back porch literally steps away from ski slope. Lot of mud off back porch where resort is installing light poles, so we tracked in mud. Hopefully grass will grow back to cover mud in future. Be aware of stairs. Older folks with knee issues might struggle a little from 3 flights of stairs. Owner was very good to work with. Kitchen was well stocked. Future stay: take hand soap, toilet paper, and small paring knife (only had 1 really big knife in kitchen). We will be back! Love this house and itā€™s awesome location!

Nice home with fleas!

Property was very nice but had fleas in the property, contacted owner to let him know! My guest were bit up around their ankles an stomach area, which now has caused sores! I wasnā€™t pleased with that for the price of the stay!

Such a great location .. we could walk right across the street for pizza and the sledding hill. And the ski rental shop is so convenient too plus itā€™s only 200 yds to our favorite store .. Freds.. ā€œ if they dont have it you donā€™t need it ā€œ

The best ever

We love staying here! This our 2nd booking for the slop side ski in/ski out home. The couches were just updated and everyone can take a break from skiing and relax by the fire on the couch. There is literally a 160 view of the slopes so I love I can watch my kids ski down the slope from inside the sunroom! Thank you for everything Michael!

Deceptively disappointing

House was extremely outdated and needed a deep cleaning. Pool table was missing balls and sticks with tips making it useless plus pockets had rips which had created holes in tile when pool balls hit the floor. In one common room doors weā€™re leaning against wall causing dangerous condition for children. House needed major paint job and removal of all furniture less than 20 years old. TVs weā€™re totally outdated and remotes didnā€™t work. Very small decks with old rickety rocking chairs. Mildred and stains on furniture inside and out. Donā€™t even ask about the creepy garage.

Top Vacay spot

Iā€™ve visited the mountains quite a few times & this was one of the best experiences overall. Before arriving I was nervous about the space because we were a group of 6 couples. The house was perfect. It was enough space where everyone could be in the common areas and not feel crowd or we could go to our own rooms for space. The kitchen was full loaded. Showers were great; pressure & hot water. The view was amazing, overlooking the ski slopes. Unlike most cabins Iā€™ve stayed in where youā€™d load up on groceries before heading up the mountain, this one was still around grocery stores so we didnā€™t mind driving back out. Very nice owner, super accommodating. Spacious and clean home. Would recommend! Great job Michael at making us feel home away from home!

Best vacation

Our family experienced the best get-away ever. From the moment we booked this home until the moment we left. Perfect home for our large family with lots of kids. A great and easy way to ski in/out of the slopes and that made it easy for us parents to switch up and all get to enjoy the slopes and take turns with the kids. Perfect location on the slopes too. Not to hard of a slope to get down. Also great location for food and shops as well as right by the sledding hill for The littles ones. The home was a home; clean and we appreciated the history of the home and the love that was there. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms had beds of kings/queens plus the ability to sleep a child or multiple children with parents of need be. I cannot say enough about our stay and our experience. By far the most enjoyable time I have had on any get away.
