Loved It! Comfy, cozy and close to down town! Able to walk down town to shops, farmer’s market and the Hops and Wine Fest! And the hot tub was a great way to end the night. Would go back again! Thanks for a great place to get together with my college friends I had not seen in a few years!

Everything was wonderful- so much better than staying at a hotel! We loved being able to spread out and having easy, walkable access to everything. Thoroughly enjoyed the way the house was decorated as well. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at the Gypsy House. A couple of warm nights gave us a chance to take advantage of the hot tub. Comfortable beds and a working television are great for a sports filled weekend and this place had both. We had a great time and will be back!

What an amazing host, so helpful and welcoming! We had a great time hanging out in the hot tub with friends. We definitely plan to book here again, next time we’re in historic Franklin.

We had a great stay. This adorable home was decorated so cute and so as very clean.! Hot tub and fire pit were a nice bonus. Enjoyed listening to the records or the record player and sitting on the nice front porch. Location was amazing for our visit with college son for the weekend!

It was a comfortable stay, however, there was recent flooding in nearby cities. I think the incredible amount of rain may have been responsible for the overwhelming smell of mildew. We needed to keep the front door open during the day to offset the mildew odor. It was adequately stocked, although, it took about 20-25 min to locate cutlery. I would suggest a label on the "hidden" drawer to assist guests. Our travels started at 5 am and we hadn't eaten a meal the entire day. By the time our take out arrived, I was ready to eat my meatball & salad with my fingers, since I could not locate a fork. We did find one eventually. The decor was cute, beds were adequate, but not outstanding for 300/night. We enjoyed the hot tub on one evening, it was a nice benefit for my daughter, who had also traveled all day. I would recommend shower gel or soap for the baths and I purchased a box of tissues to leave for the next guest. I don't usually travel with soap. Shower gel & tissues are relatively inexpensive & in my opinion, shouldn't require a guest to purchase to have available for a comfortable stay. There were plenty of towels, however, and was very much appreciated.Both kitchen and bath were immaculately clean. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch and swing in the afternoon sun.

Thank you for this feedback. We would’ve been happy to discuss any of these issues with you while you were staying in the home, but unfortunately you didn’t reach out or even mention these items to us. The information about the silverware drawer was in your welcome note you received a day prior to checking in. I have attached it here again… “The silverware is in a small white drawer to the left of the sink. You have to open the top black drawer then the white one is inside of that. It’s kinda hidden! Utensils are in the same kind of white hidden drawer right above the trash cans.” The rate you paid was $215.00 per night. I understood you were in town for a funeral so I checked on your party twice and you stated everything was fine and thanked me for my kindness. All of the amenities are included in the listing and the things you mentioned above were never listed to be a part of your stay. However, we do have a jar with lots of travel size items in case you don’t bring your own. I will take note of the box of tissues and provide those for future guests. I’m sorry if you personally had an allergy to a specific smell you experienced in the house. That is something I will check on immediately as I’ve not had any other guest complaints on this. I’m actually very sad to see this review as we’ve never gotten a review like this. In the future, I encourage you to read the entire listing to be sure it meets your specific needs.

This was a delightfully cozy little house within walking distance to restaurants, parks, and shops in Franklin. I loved the decor and the beds were comfortable!I took on star off because "hot tub" was in the title of the listing but it was not fully functioning (couldn't run the jets without tripping a breaker), which we didn't know til the day of check-in. So that was a bummer. But the fire pit was lovely and we had a wonderful time despite.

Love the place. Christina was the best host I have ever had. The house is just as described. All of Franklin is just a short walk away...shopping, restaurants, parks, the college. Quiet neighborhood, charming house. Will stay again.

This house is adorable! The eclectic decor is so fun. Everything was in great shape. Beds were comfortable... and the sheets were so soft. There is a long table in the dining room. A couple of days the weather was nice and we sat out on the front porch swing. Great communication with the host!!

My kids and I loved this house! From the porch swing to the hot tub, it was just right for the three of us. I was impressed with the effective use of space and the convenient location of many amenities within walking distance. It made the stay even more pleasant.

This was the cutest house ever! Very clean and charming and great location to walk downtown Franklin to enjoy the festivities. The record player was a super nice added touch! We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the front porch. The host was always available if needed and quick to answer questions. Will definitely plan to stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.

This was a great spot to stay near some cozy spots in Franklin! House was cozy and well represented in pictures and the communication was great- including offering space heaters for what turned out to be a very cold weekend. Only drawback was the hot tub wasn't working and we didn't learn about that in time to make other arrangements.

This was a really fun house for our girls weekend. Thursday thru Monday. Very cool vibe! Loved the little touches, like record player complete with our kind of music.

Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. The house was great for togetherness with friends but also allowed for privacy if you just needed a quiet place. It was a great location for downtown shops and restaurants. Also short drive to Edinburgh outlet mall and Martinsville. We stay 4 nights but there was so much to do we could have stayed longer to shop all of the great places nearby. We really enjoyed the evenings chatting. The WiFi was quick and streaming on the tv was good. I would definitely stay here again and thing it would be a great location any time of year.
