Welcome to our cute little brick home with the red front door and black trim — a real home first, then a rental. It was lived in and cared for for 10 years, so it’s set up to feel comfortable and lived-in, not generic.
Inside you’ll find high-quality furniture and lots of character, including art collected from local Detroit markets and art shows over the years. The bathroom is a standout: custom-built with classic subway tile and honeycomb marble flooring.
The space is modest, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, with three bedrooms total: two upstairs and one in the finished basement. The basement bedroom has a proper egress window for better light and peace of mind. To keep things tidy between cleanings, we run multiple high-end robot vacuums.
Out back, there’s a private seating area and a fire pit for relaxed evenings. The yard is almost fully fenced, and we keep a small extra fence panel in the bike shed so you can close it off completely for pets.
You’ll also have:
A well-stocked kitchen with the tools you need to cook
Newer, high-end laundry machines (with backups so laundry stays functional)
Two bikes for neighborhood rides
A grill available in summer (please bring your own propane/gas)
A working fireplace (please bring your own firewood)
One quick note: there’s a very nice Italian espresso machine, but we don’t maintain it anymore. You’re welcome to try it — just keep expectations low on performance.
It’s been a cozy getaway for hundreds of guests, and we think you’ll feel the same “home” vibe the moment you walk in.
