A wonderful villa, everything was according the descriptions, very good and easy communication with the host and the local person. Wonderful pool and perfect view on Porto Azzurro. Perfect location for large groups and for exploring Elba.

Beautiful Villa exactly as described. This was a girls vacation so the 5 bathrooms was a selling point. The pool, terrace and views from all rooms breathtaking. Communication easy and Alfredo checked in often made many suggestions on local restaurants and excursions. Suggestions would definitely get rental car . Holiday at Villa Bacci

our entire family, grand-parents, parents and kids enjoyed the time at Villa Bacci. We loved the marvellous view over bay Porto Azzurro, appreciated the authentic of the house, and the nice time near to the swimming pool. We already consider renting the house next year

Beautiful Place

Stunning view

If you want an authentic stay in a beautiful location, villa Bacci is for you. The view from the house and the pool is unbeatable, and Porto Azzurro is a beautiful place to go for a stroll. Communication with Alfredo was very easy, no matter the reason. A very nice place, especially if you go with a large group of people.

Beautiful Villa Bacci

We had a fantastic week at Villa Bacci, it’s a beautiful and unique villa with the most stunning views. Off the beaten track but a short drive to Porto Azzuro and Capoliveri, two of the most picturesque towns on the island and in a good location to explore many of Elba’s beautiful beaches. Lovely pool and outside space. Great communication with the host Alfredo and house manager Giovanni. Thank you for a great stay!

Holiday of a lifetime

This was a whole family, 3 generational holiday. Staying in Villa Bacci was the reason the holiday was such a success. Room to spread out upstairs, a large terrace in front, with beautiful views over Port Azzurro. Refreshing swimming pool with a childproof fence and garden area for the little ones to explore and play in. And Alfredo always helpful when needed. Elba is spectacular too. Altogether pretty perfect.

Spacious villa with outstanding views

Villa Bacci is a truly beautiful 1800's villa, restored to an Italian 1800's style with incredible views over Porto Azzurro and Capoliveri. Alfredo is a very helpful host who was always available if I had a question to ask the response was always very quick and useful, with tips on what to do on a cloudy day. We were a family of 3 couples and everyone had their own space. A great villa, location, host and pool. Thank you.

Great Villa with breathtaking view

The house is wonderful and the view is incredibly beautiful. we really enjoyed the stay. The way tobte Villa is difficult to find and extremely bumpy. Four wheel drive would be good. Alfredo and Giovanni were super helpful and nice. The terrace is just a dream! There were enough bathrooms for our group of four families with teenagers. Some of the rooms are small. Kitchen (very tiny, cooking with several people is a bit difficult), washing machine, air conditioning (but watch the electricity costs), barbecue - everything works perfectly. The pool is great, but cold and a bit away from the house. Unfortunately you have to walk up a dusty, rocky path. Despite small points with room for improvement, we would come back and absolutely recommend it.

Hello Marc, Thank you for your nice review that is very appreciated including the reccomensaftions that are always useful. I give you some info to better understand some aspects of the Villa. The road is adjusted every year and unfortunately can’t be asphalted as it is forbidden by the Tuscan Park but in some ways in a country house you do not expect an asphalted road. The pool has been located 70mts from the house to give privacy and quietness to the Villa (pool areas are normally quite noisy), to keep it cleaned from the pine trees that are around the Villa and over all to guarantee sun exposition all day long. The kitchen had a close room that is supposed to be a kind of support room for food preparation. Lastly all rooms are quite big a pet two that are slightly smaller but have all the facilities and space you need. I hope to see you soon back in Villa Bacci for another great holiday. Ciao Alfredo

Authentic surroundings and a scenic view.

We were a family of 14 from the age 10 to 80 years old and everybody was happy and enjoyed Villa Bacci very much. Villa Bacci can room so many people because of its size and the authentic way it is build. Villa Bacci has outstanding view and surroundings with space for everyone. Our family has traveled all over the world, and we all agreed that this has been one of the most spectacular places we have stayed. We have enjoyed the authentic house, the very beautiful view over the sea and vineyards, and the swimming pool. We enjoyed the swimming pool during daytime and had sandwiches at the table in the shadow. The terrasse, with the beautiful view, was used morning and evening, where we enjoyed self-made food with ingredients from the local shops. We spend most of the holiday relaxing in the beautiful environment of Villa Bacci. We can recommend you too order chief Michele Nardi to make a dinner for you. He takes care of everything, and it was very delicious. If you rent Villa Bacci you don’t have to go out, because it is so beautiful and relaxing to live in. We all hope to come back to Elba and beautiful Villa Bacci.

Grundsätzlich eine wunderbar gelegene Liegenschaft, traumhafte Aussicht und ruhig. Nicht zu vergessen, die super schöne Poolanlage. Das Abfallregime hat aus unserer Sicht noch etwas Potenzial. Das in Porto Azzuro befindliche Sammelcenter ist doch weiter weg und benötigt bei der Abwicklung einiges an Geduld. Zusammengefasst, wir würden gerne wiederkommen

Vi var tre familier (otte voksne og fire børn) af sted sammen og havde en skøn uge i Villa Bacci, som er et vidunderligt hus med en spændende historie og en udsøgt beliggenhed. Elba er virkelig varm i juli, men oppe i højderne tager en let brise toppen af heden. Når man er færdig med at dåne over den fantastiske udsigt, brug da et par minutter på at betragte billederne, der hænger rundt om i huset, der i øvrigt er meget rummeligt med fine faciliteter og behagelig aircondition. Køkkenet er ikke så stort og lægger ikke op til kulinariske udskejelser, men med øens fantastiske råvarer kan man altid smække en caprese-salat sammen og smide nogle salsiccia-pølser på den store gasgrill, og ellers kan man altid hente en stak pizzaer nede i Porte Azzurro - vi prøvede forskellige steder og havde kun gode oplevelser. Der er mange gode strande i nærheden (kør efter fx Spiaggia Morcone for en god, bred og gratis strand med rent, kølende vand), og orker man ikke at køre, er poolen virkelig skøn og ligesom villaen med en fantastisk udsigt. Området omkring villaen byder på forskellige løbe-/vandreture; for folk med god fysik og uden højdeskræk kan turen op ad bjerget til Santuario della Madonna di Monserrato anbefales. Turen til og fra huset er stejl og med skarpe sving, men vejen er god og med kun lidt trafik, og de fleste italienere er hensynsfulde bilister. Ejeren er hjælpsom og svarer altid hurtigt, og er der problemer, rykker opsynsmanden Giovanni hurtigt ud.

Wir hatten eine traumhafte Woche in der Villa Bacci. Wir waren mit 9 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern in der Villa und hatten ausreichend Platz und Privatsphäre für alle. Die Bäder sind geräumig, so auch die Schlafzimmer. Die Betten waren bequem, Bettwäsche haben wir selbst mitgebracht. In der Küche war alles vorhanden was man zum Kochen braucht, wir haben aber hauptsächlich den tollen Gasgrill benutzt. Die Straße zum Haus ist etwas holprig, aber man kommt trotzdem gut hin. Bitte der Wegbeschreibung folgen. Der Pool war bei uns und den Kids der Hit. Sei es zum Planschen oder dem Sportprogramm.Wie bereits öfters schon beschrieben ist der Strompreis relativ hoch, was vermutlich an den Klimaanlagen liegt. Aber das wussten wir zuvor schon. Die Einrichtung passt zu der Villa und man fühlt sich direkt wohl, die Bilder im Flur zeigen wie es früher aussah und die Gartenmöbel von damals gibt es auch noch. Der Kontakt zu Alfredo war die ganze Zeit super, er ist sehr bemüht das seine Gäste zufrieden sind. Wir bedanken uns nochmal für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt auf der Insel Elba.Liebe Grüße Sabrina und Familie

Die Lage, der Pool und das gesamte Anwesen sind wunderschön. Leider war der Weg zur Villa Bacci durch vorherige starke Regenfälle mit normalen PKW schlecht zu befahren. Dies müsste ausgebessert werden.

Dieses Jahr war die Straße aufgrund der häufigen und starken Regenfälle etwas holprig. Wir reparieren sie jedes Jahr zu Saisonbeginn, und dieses Jahr dauerte es weniger als erwartet. Das Objekt ist eine wunderschöne, gut erhaltene und teilweise modernisierte Villa mit traumhafter Aussicht sowohl von der Villa als auch vom Pool. Die Bäder sind meist geräumig und mit großen Duschen ausgestattet. Die Räume sind stielvoll möbliert und ausgestattet. Man fühlt sich direkt zurückversetzt in die "gute alte Zeit". Der Eigentümer versorgt einen mit vielen Informationen zur Villa und zur Gegend und kümmert sich auch sonst um das Wohlbefinden der Gäste. Die Villa war bei unserer Ankunft frisch gereinigt und der "Check In" erfolgte pünktlich und problemlos. Lediglich der Anfahrtsweg ist etwas holprig und nicht sportwagentauglich.

Grossfamilien-Urlaub in herrlicher Villa

Soeben aus unserem Grossfamilien-Urlaub zurück, sind wir glücklich, eine wunderbare Zeit in der Villa Bacci verbracht zu haben. Die Kommunikation mit Alfredo war vor, während und nach dem Urlaub sehr gut und umfassend; er hat sich immer nach dem Befinden erkundigt und seine Hilfe angeboten. Das CheckIn und CheckOut mit Giovanni war sehr freundlich und schnell und eine leere Gasflasche für den Grill wurde umgehend von ihm ersetzt. Die Lage der Villa und der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. Umgeben von riesigen Pinien und Palmen, einem Weinberg und viel Natur (inkl. Fasanen und Hasen), kann man sich bestens erholen. Das Übrige tut der wunderschöne, gepflegte Pool. In der Villa hatten wir viel Platz für uns 11 Erwachsene und unsere zwei Enkel. Die Schlafzimmer bieten viel Stauraum und sind geräumig. Bis auf ein kleines Bad im EG, sind die Bäder gross und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Küche und der angrenzende "Lagerraum" bietet alles an Ausstattung, was man zum kochen für eine grosse Gruppe braucht. Der Anfahrtsweg ist in den asphaltierten und naturbelassen Abschnitten "etwas" holperig, ist aber selbst mit einem normalen Kleinwagen gut zu bewältigen (auch während und nach Regenfällen); während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde ein etwas steileres, zerfurchtes Wegstück ausgeebnet. Wenn man die Wegbeschreibung von Alfredo befolgt, findet man problemlos zur Villa. Fazit: wenn wieder einmal ein Familienurlaub auf Elba geplant ist, ist die Villa Bacci erste Wahl! Tolle Villa

Tolle alleinstehende geräumige Villa fern ab vom Trubel, sehr ruhig, Platz für über 10 Personen, leicht zu erreichen 5 Min. von Hauptstraße (teilweise Schotter - kein Problem). Fantastische Aussicht über die Bucht von Porto Azzurro. Toller Pool (sauber, täglich gereinigt!). Exzellente Kommunikation sowohl mit Host (Alfredo) als auch mit Hausmeister vor Ort (Giovanni), sowohl vor Check In als auch während des Aufenthaltes. Insgesamt nur zu empfehlen!! Kleine Kritikpunkte: -man muss mit erheblichen Zusatzkosten rechnen (Reinigung, Bettwäsche, Strom (!)), über 500€ für eine vierköpfige Familie/Woche. Zu der Zeit meiner Buchung teiliweise nicht aufgeführt (steht jetzt aber drin, daher nun mehr Transparenz). - teilweise nicht sehr sauberes Geschirr (Essensreste vom Vorgänger), etwas ältere Küchengeräte (z.B. Außengrill defekt)

Hello Matthias, Thank you for your nice review. I am glad that you had a god time with family at Villa Bacci. Regarding the extra costs i am sorry if it was a surprise for you but this is strange as I clearly indicate them in the website before booking, in the booklet i send to guests one month before and in the e-mail i send 3 days before the beginning of the holiday. I will check again all the property descriprion to make sure they are fully visible. cleaning is 180€, electricity is 0,5€/kw and bed sheets are paid only if you rent them otherwise if you bring your own you do not pay anything. Anyway it is important that you enjoyed the Villa, the nice view and the holiday in general. KInd regards, Alfredo

Wunderschöne Villa

Super Villa, super gepflegt, wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Meer und die Dörfer. Wie die Bilder vermitteln sollen aber noch viel schöner.Unkomplizierte und schnelle Kommunikation mit dem Hausbesitzer und auch mit dem Verwalter vor Ort. Herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit.
