One-of-a-kind opportunity to rent a historic Gilded Age Chicago Gold Coast mansion. All modern amenities meet Romanesque Revival style at this huge 6-bedroom Graystone. You will be steps away from Rush Street restaurants, Division Street nightlife, Oak Street Beach, and Michigan Avenue shopping. Enjoy central air and heat, 3 fireplaces, a fully stocked kitchen, queen and king size beds, balcony and an attached garage. Pets are welcome at no fee. What else could you possibly need?

**PARKING** You get one parking space in the attached garage. The height of the garage door is 6', length 19'.

**WORRY FREE CLEANING PACKAGE** At check-out you will need to take care of trash overflow, dishes, exuberant messes and any food you brought. The worry-free package covers any and all cleaning. Just walk out in the morning (you do need to move furniture back if you make any changes to the layout). Note that this fee is additional to my regular cleaning fee you pay when you book the place. This package is best for those who want to decorate, cook a lot, are traveling as a group and would rather split the $200 than worry about anything in the morning.
**DECORATING THE HOUSE** You are welcome to decorate the house. If you attach anything to the walls, please use paint-safe tape and remove it prior to your departure. There is a $200 glitter and confetti fee.
**ACCESSIBILITY** There are 7 steps to access a first-floor bedroom.
**HOUSE RULES** Unregistered guests are not allowed on the property. The presence of more than 26 guests is unlawful. A guest is anyone at the property, staying the night, or just visiting. Minors need to have a responsible adult present. Primary booker is required to stay on the property and provide an ID. IDs will need to be provided prior to your arrival for everyone spending any time at the property for reservations made less than 30 days in advance. This includes overnight guests or any visitors. There is a counter installed. I utilize a private security firm. If the counter shows more than the registered number of people or if I get a noise complaint from neighbors, security will be immediately dispatched. A $200 dispatch fee will be charged from your security deposit. Should they be unsuccessful in removing you from the premises, they will involve the police. This is not a place for a local house party.
**GRILL** Currently there is a gas grill at the property. I do not provide any supplies including gas. Frequently previous guests leave plenty for the next set to you and there is a gas refill station less than five minutes away. Local grocery store is less than two minutes away.
**WILDLIFE** You will encounter wildlife while staying at the property. Here is what you can expect most commonly: Spiders and ants are common in Chicago. They get as high as 95th floor of John Hancock building. While we do our best to combat them, it is nearly impossible during high season. Bees, wasps, yellow jackets are abundant throughout the city. While we take care of any nests on the property, I cannot control them in the air and beyond my boundaries.
**BREAKDOWNS** I will use my best efforts to ensure that all equipment within the house is in good working order, although I cannot guarantee that any equipment will not break down during your stay, and therefore such a breakdown does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustments made for any such mechanical failure. In the event of a breakdown, I will use my best efforts to remedy the situation as soon as possible after notification of the breakdown. There will be no refunds or rebates given for inoperable appliances or faulty equipment, unfavorable weather, interruption of utilities, or minor maintenance problems. No rebates will be given for malfunctions of cable equipment or reception that affect the TV or Internet access. Please remember that I cannot fix a problem if I do not know about it so please communicate any issues promptly.

Easy check in, property was clean and had tons of space. Communication was speedy and everyone loved the soft comforters on the beds. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Great location. Walking distance to stores and restaurants.The kitchen had the majority of what we needed. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. There were a few things that the property manager was aware of, like blinds not working, but she was in progress of having them fixed.

Gorgeous home near beach
We had a great stay! Inna provided us all the info we needed to check in smoothly when we arrived and the garage spot made it easy for us to park and unload luggage straight into the house. Everything was super clean! The house is big enough that even with so many guests everyone felt spread out and had their own space. We were able to take a 5ish min walk to the beach which was such a bonus!

We were a group of 12 celebrating my mom's 86th birthday. I book a lot of large group VRBO's and it never ceases to amaze me that they think a group of 12-16 can get by with 3 rolls of toilet paper. Well not this one. Stocked to the brim with toilet paper and shampoo, conditioner etc. The location can't be beat - just blocks from the beach and great shopping and nightlife. The rooms were great and there is plenty of room for a large group. I would highly recommend this house for a big group. Hands down one of the best I have rented.

Spacious Property for Large Groups
We had a family re-union with 25 people. The location of this property could not have been better. We were within minutes of walk to the lake, restaurants and train station. The kitchen, bedroom and bathrooms were very well stocked. The main living area and kitchen is on the 2nd floor while the bedrooms are either in the basement, 1st floor or 3rd floor. So, older people may find it hard to go up and down multiple times. Overall, our group had a great time.

The Gold Coast is by far our favorite neighborhood in the entire city. The location of the Gilded Age Mansion is just perfect: very short walk to restaurants, the Lake Shore beaches, and the Water Tower. If you’re up for a bit longer walk, Navy Pier, Lincoln Park Zoo, Chicago River, and the Loop are in range. A 10 minute drive will get you to Shedd Aquarium, Soldiers’ Field, and Millennium Park. The facilities and space in the house are wonderful. We had everything we needed. Inna was available and attentive to our needs and check-in was easy with well communicated instructions at every step. Beds were comfortable and we had room for everyone. We had 3 generations the house worked well for all ages. In spite of its great location, the House is on a quiet tree lined street with little traffic.Definitely five out of five stars.
