The house was exactly what we needed for our group during the Sturgis motorcycle rally. Close enough to all the great rides and, downtown Sturgis but nice and quiet at night. Ramona was on top of every detail, quick to respond if needed and very accommodating to our group. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay! Perfect house to bring the kids on vacation. The house was clean and had plenty of space. We had 6 people and 2 dogs and did not feel cramped at all. The host was great! We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our time

We enjoyed having the house to return to after our full days of exploring. It was comfortable and accommodating. We will keep Ramona in mind for future stays in Rapid City.

This served our needs during a short stay to see the sights. It was clean and the hosts were responsive. It has some of the most reasonable checkout procedures of any house we've rented, which was nice. Plenty of space to sleep as long as you're OK with just two bathrooms. We like to cook, and the kitchen was not as well-equipped for that as I would normally prefer, but it was adequate.

I love this location. Rapid Valley is a growing area with lots to do. More importantly, it's easy to get to everything that Rapid City has to offer. Rushmore Tramway Adventures is a blast and very close to Mt. Rushmore. There's a great hike just across the street from Mt. Rushmore - you can walk to it from the parking lot.Of course, Reptile Gardens, Bear Country, Rushmore Candy Company are all in a line!!

Great place to stay. Just a note if bringing small dogs they can get out of the fenced in area. Also neighbor dogs are not real friendly. Otherwise great place to stay.

This is a beautiful house with an enormous living and dining space. The kitchen is very spacious. The upstairs rooms are nice, downstairs one is a little more basic and one is almost a separate apartment. This was a wonderful quiet place for my in-laws

Excellent property

It was exactly as listed and was spacious and comfortable. Having the toys, games, and pack n play on property was such a help. My kids loved the tetherball in the backyard. There's nothing negative I can say about this property and Ramona was super helpful and easy to reach from the time I first inquired until the day we left.

Our experience at Ramona‘s property was above and beyond anything we expected! As soon as we arrived our kids were sooooo entertained with the wonderful kids room that was stocked with toys and supplies for days!! The playground out front was amazing as well and our kids spent countless hours there. We traveled with a dog and he also felt so accommodated since there was so many doggy accessories! We were even provided with a dog kennel since we did not travel with one. We spent Fourth of July weekend there and let me tell you it was one of the best Fourth of Julys of our entire life! The home situated in Rapid Valley, where they have the most incredible fireworks displays that last for hours! Our favorite part was enjoying the fireworks from the ultra-relaxing hot tub.What was even better, however was the communication and hospitality of Ramona. She was very responsive throughout the whole process and even came to our aid when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house! The house made our wonderful trip that much more better as it provided relaxation, fun and a true home away from home experience. Will definitely be booking this place again!

Hi there! We’re Ramona and Cody Royalty, the proud owners of Bonita Ln Vacation Rental. We’re original locals—born and raised right here in the beautiful Black Hills aka Paha Sapa, for over 40 years. This area is home all the way, and we love sharing it with others!

We homeschool our children and spend as much time as we can outside—exploring local walking trails, going on bike rides, and soaking in all the beauty the Black Hills have to offer. We also enjoy traveling and know just how important it is to have a clean, comfortable place to land at the end of the day.

We love the opportunity to connect with people from all over and to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and like home—even if just for a little while. We hope you feel right at home here and enjoy your time in this special part of South Dakota!

We chose this location because it perfectly blends peaceful, natural surroundings with convenient access to everything you might need. Out back, there's a beautiful little pond that brings so much life to the property—you’ll often spot fish, turtles, and a variety of birds passing through. It’s a quiet neighborhood overall, giving guests a relaxing place to unwind, yet it’s still close to town.

We’re near the Valley Fire Department, which is reassuring, and just a short drive from both the Rapid City Regional Airport and Ellsworth Air Force Base. Technically, we’re in a suburb of Rapid City, which means you’re close to all the city amenities, but without the busy hustle. In the distance, you can catch views of Elk Black Peak and the Black Hills—one of our favorite sights when leaving the house.

In the summertime around the 4th of July, it gets festive here! Fireworks are legal for about a week, and you’ll find several pop-ups stands nearby. It’s a fun, local tradition that really brings the neighborhood to life. Shooting of Fireworks ends nightly at 11pm. If you drive up a hill nearby you can see many fireworks around the entire Valley.

All of this made it the perfect spot for our family—and we’re so excited to share it with yours.

Inside, our home offers a bright, open feel with vaulted ceilings peaking at 11 feet, giving the main living area a spacious and airy vibe. We recently installed hard flooring throughout the main floor, which not only looks great but is easy to keep clean and helps with allergies—perfect for families or groups on the go.

The home is just over 2,100 square feet, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out. You’ll enjoy the comfort of central air, newer appliances, a reclining couch perfect for movie nights, and live plants that add a fresh, welcoming touch.

Step outside and you’ll find even more to love. There’s a newer hot tub that seats 7 (or 4 very comfortably), a basketball stand in the driveway, and a playset for the kids right out front to watch from the front window. The neighborhood is quiet with dog friendly neighbors, so it feels safe and peaceful—whether you’re sipping a morning coffee or watching the stars at night in the spa.

The property is inspected and approved by the Department of Health, so you can feel confident in the cleanliness and safety of your stay.
