LOCATION
The Lagoon Studios are located in the heart of Oranjestad, just 2-3 minutes walking to the public beach (with a beach line of appr 1 mile), Seaport Mall and the Renaissance Hotel / Mall. From your clean, modern, stylish studio you can also easily walk to restaurants, bars, nightlife, casino's, supermarket and banks. You can walk to public beach in 2-3 minutes, where you can swim, drink a glass of wine, read a book, walk on the beach, so purely relax.

THE SPACE
Lagoon Studios is a new unique concept. Comfortable king size beds, modern flatscreen smart tv's, energy friendly airconditioning units and modern bathrooms with hot water facility. All studios except studio 3 come with a complete kitchen plus working space. Free wifi, free parking on indicated parking areas, free beach towels, free beach umbrellas and free beach chairs available.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests may use the common areas in front of the individual studios. Also the washing machine and dryer can be used for a small additional fee.

INCLUDED
Complementary cleaning included when staying more than 7 nights, wifi, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach towels are included in the rental price.

SECURITY
Lagoon Studios is secured with security camera's and we use a self-check in system, where every customer is provided by email with an unique entry code to have access to the main entrance door and to his or her studio.

HOUSE RULES
- Please always turn off the airconditioning unit before leaving your studio
- Please always close the main entrance door when you enter or leave Lagoon Studios
- Please park your car on the indicated parking areas
- Max 2 persons can stay in the studio
- Smoking is not allowed in the studio
- Smoking weed is nowhere allowed on the premises of Lagoon Studios

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful rental home, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the moment I arrived, the owner made me feel incredibly welcome. Their kindness and warmth set the tone for a truly memorable visit. Not only did they share a wealth of local insights, but they also recommended some hidden gems I never would have found on my own, including great cafes, scenic trails, and cultural spots. The home itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully appointed with everything I needed. It was the perfect base for exploring the area, and I look forward to returning in the future!

Beautiful

Everything you need is provided. Beach chairs, towels even sun block if you forgot Sharon was such a wonderful host. Great suggestions on where to eat, activities. Location was perfect, able to walk to many places. The cleaning angel kept everything sparkling. Definitely would stay there again and again. Next time I’ll stay longer.

Perfect place

This place is in the city center. Close to the best restaurants, beaches and harbor. Sharon’s recommendations were very helpful. She cares about her visitors to have a great time and enjoy the beautiful island.

Best Trip Ever!

We booked Lagoon Studio 1 for our 30-year anniversary. Sharon lived up to every review and did not disappoint. She welcomed us with champagne and brought us breakfast our first morning. She sat with us and helped us plan out our days to ensure we didn’t miss all the wonders of the island! Sharon took the time to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Her house “princess” kept the property clean and was such a wonderful ray of sunshine! The property appealed to us because it’s in the heart of the historic district and within walking distance to so many quaint restaurants and bars. We wanted to stay away from the hotel district and live with the locals- this place did not disappoint. The whole time we were there was absolutely wonderful and it wouldn’t have been as great if it wasn’t for Sharon and her amazing property! When we go back- we will absolutely stay at Lagoon Studios!

Great place

Great host and great location.....we would go back in a heartbeat!....a big plus was they had beach chairs umbrella and beach towels for you to use. Not far from a small quiet beach and trees for shade along the waters edge. Good restaurants close by....be sure to try the ...Driftwood restaurant.... absolutely fantastic!!!!

Just right!

This was a wonderful experience with the perfect host. Sharon went above and beyond to greet, assist and guide us to make the most of our stay. The apartment was spotless, and well equipped. Very close to great restaurants, the beaches and Oranjestad. Would love to return.

Exceeded Expectations!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay! Sharon is the best host we've ever encountered; she was incredibly hospitable and instantly made us feel more at ease. She helped us plan our trip and her recommendations were some of our favorite memories of the whole trip. The property was also very clean/comfortable, in a convenient location (we walked to a lot of meals/activities), and the beach chairs, coolers, etc. made the trip easier and more budget-friendly. Would 100% love to stay here again.

Honeymoon

We don’t even know where to start except Sharon is amazing and we will absolutely stay here again! We were there for 10 days on our honeymoon and it was more than we ever expected!!! Lagoon Studios was in a perfect location. Just to let you know Zoutmanstraat is a very busy street and it is noisy, so if you are a light sleeper then we suggest ear plugs other than that it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND SHARON IS THE BOMB!!!! Everything was within walking distance! A wonderful place indeed!!

Perfect Location and Host

My husband and I stayed at Lagoon Studios for 8 days to celebrate his birthday. The location was perfect for us to travel and see the entire island. Sharon is an AMAZING host. She brought us breakfast the first morning and spent over an hour helping us plan our daily outings and meals (you should listen to what she says). She also brought my husband a birthday cake on his birthday. The studio was well-equipped and clean. Fatima did a wonderful job cleaning our unit during our stay. Sharon also provides beach chairs and a cooler for guests to take on their excursions.

Delightful Accomodations at Lagoon Studios Aruba

We could not have asked for a better place to stay or for a more gracious hostess for our two weeks in Aruba. Sharon has the gift of hospitality and made us feel so welcome and cared for from our booking through our departure and beyond. Cleanliness was paramount and our sweet housekeeper Fatima did a great job with her attention to every detail. Our hostess Sharon brought us a delicious local cuisine breakfast the first morning to kick off our wonderful stay . She sat with us with maps and recommendations custom fit for our interests and desires to experience while there. Sharon was always available and visited the property daily to make sure we had everything we needed. We were so pleased with everything about 35 Zoutmanstraat. The property is very secure and we enjoyed sitting outside listening to the birds and greeting people passing by. It was fun to watch for the various party busses that occasionally drove past. The location is right in the heart of everything we could imagine. We were within walking distance of 30-40 restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The cruise port was only three blocks away, the Renaissance Market Place Mall, marina and a beach were only two blocks away. We rented a jeep for the two weeks which came in handy when we were not walking. Sharon provides renters with a parking pass, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, sunscreen and a washer and dryer. Also included are free beach chair passes for the lovely Reflexion Bar and Beach Club which is approximately a 10 minute walk from the studio apartments. The airport is next to the club and you can watch the planes fly in to land. We give Sharon and Lagoon Studios the highest recommendation possible. ~Chuck and Susie

Sharon ist großartig

Wenn man, wie wir, gerne Gast ist und nicht „üblicher Tourist“ so ist man bei Sharen herzensgut aufgehoben. Lagoon App. sind stilvoll eingerichtet und die Ausstattung ist perfekt und supersauber. Es gibt sogar Strandchairs zum kostenlosen ausleihen. Die Lage ist perfekt.Gäste der Kreuzfahrtschiffe bewegen sich im anderen Stadteil. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es Strand, Beachbars und Restaurants mit leckerem Essen und der Möglichkeit zu chillen. Wir haben jede Minute genießen können.

Perfect location!

We embraced the experience of being downtown. Sharon was excellent providing us with a map and her suggestions of great places to eat and sites to visit. We walked everywhere! The location of the studio allows you to walk many places in 5 to 10 minutes! The bus stop was also a short walk for the trip to Eagle Beach. The studio was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay!

Mother/daughter trip

I decided to take my daughter on a spontaneous trip and we had always wanted to visit Aruba. It was so easy to book with Sharon. She is the most thorough and organized host that I’ve ever had! Can’t say enough positive things about Lagoon Studios and lovely host Sharon! Even at my departure she walked me to the bus station just to ensure I made it on my way. You will be disappointed with the lack of detail, attentiveness and luxury accommodations if you aren’t staying at Lagoon Studios!

Another amazing 3 week stay!

This is our 3rd consecutive stay with Sharon at Lagoon Studios and we highly recommend it to everyone. Sharon goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and get the most out of your vacation. The location is amazing and the studios are sparkling clean and beautiful. It has become our home away from home and if you are planning a trip to Aruba, this is definitely where you want to stay. Don’t hesitate, just book it! You will fall in love with Lagoon Studios and the amazing hostess that looks after you while you’re here.

Perfect get-away! Nine nights was not enough!

Book now- read further if you have time! My husband and I returned to Aruba for the fourth time; this was the first visit on Aruba that we did not stay in a hotel. Several years ago we realized that, while traveling, we experience a much less touristy experience when we rent a studio or apartment from a local. Previously while on Aruba, we've stayed in the high rise district (it a bit too touristy) and we've stayed at the Renaissance. We enjoyed the lovely private Renaissance Island- you can still visit without staying at the hotel. If you are interested, just book a day on the Renaissance Island and a massage prior to your arrival; enjoy the island without the hotel. First let me express how lovely Sharon, the owner, is! She will welcome you with open arms, and help you determine what to do and where to go - imagine a personal tour guide who will give you as much or as little attention as you desire - she's great! Her studios are exceptionally clean, the beds are comfortable (we stayed in studio #1 and studio #3 during out stay), and the location is safe. There is traffic noise (this should be expected while staying in a house in the city), but it does not detract from the visit. A car is useful (but not necessary) to get around the island- rent a jeep if you want to tour the entire island without joining a tour. No car for us; My husband and I enjoy walking, and there is easy-access busing and plenty of taxis. Small local buses (vans), or large Arubus buses, run all day and are very reasonable. Save your money for food and experiences! Are you a foodie? Plan in advance and book reservations at Table by White or Fred's. Table by White is much more of a foodie experience, my husband and I loved each bite more than the previous; whereas, Fred's is a bit more laid-back (and a two-minute walk from Sharon's studios. We truly enjoyed both restaurants and the different experiences! Read reviews on TripAdvisor if you are interested- you will need to make reservations in advance. We definitely look forward to another visit with Sharon at Lagoon Studios!

downtown boutique luxury studio

We stayed in studio 1; this and the other units are top of the line; tastefully decorated, modern with all the comforts of home, only minutes from a sandy beach and downtown Oranjestad. The hostess, Sharon, is friendly and welcoming. You couldn't ask for more. She will assist you in making your holiday memorable while enjoying all that Aruba has to offer. The location is great, you feel like part of the local community; everyday the locals pass and wish you a good day, and mean it. You get a good sense of how friendly and welcoming Aruba's people truly are. First thing in the morning, when folks are driving to work, we found it was a great time to go for a walk south along the white sandy beach towards the end of the airport. The water is calm and warm and it is a great way to start your day. Returning for a quiet coffee and relaxation before heading to the beach or points beyond. There are lots of great restaurants close by, Sharon will be able to assist you in your food adventures. What we found to be really handy was the beach chairs , umbrella and cooler which we used daily. We had an amazing stay at Lagoon Studio's.
