It was lovely to meet you and share our beautiful property :) Centennial Park (a township park) is within easy walking distance (1km) and quite nice access to the water. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Great property with great and helpful hosts. Clean air, quiet and serene. It was a great place to go and just relax. When your there try out their trail system.Don't bother to go into Wiarton shopping...too expensive and lots of road work. the drive down grey rd. 1 is relaxing with great views into Georgian Bay and down into Owen Sound.

It was lovely to meet both of you! We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Greystone Bunkie. You had great weather and fit in a lot of activities :) The Wiarton construction is only two blocks and detours are well marked. Owen Sound is equidistant from here for an alternative. Grey Road 1 is definitely a relaxing drive We hope to see you again!

Great Georgian Bay get away

The Greystone bunky is perfect for a short getaway to the Big Bay Area of the Bruce Peninsula on Georgian Bay. Very private amidst the trees and gardens.

So happy you timed your visit to see some of the bird migration! Perhaps you could list some of the species you saw? I know it's warbler migration and we're getting some new ones this year. We saw a Great Blue Heron, Goldfinches, Bluebirds, Geese and goslings, Tree Swallow and a Turkey Vulture not long after we met you on the Trails. Looking forward to seeing you again! Susan

Wonderful stay

My partner and I greatly enjoyed our two-night stay in the Bunkie over the Canada Day 2023 weekend. Quiet, private and offering all the amenities we needed to make our own meals, the location provides a great opportunity to explore the Bruce peninsula away from the crowds, whether driving to and hiking in nearby parks or exploring the expansive network of trails on the property. Sue is very kind and welcoming -- thanks for the hospitality!

Back to nature, beautiful and peaceful!

Sue was a most attentive and personable host! We loved hearing the history of the property. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the natural setting ....with just the sound of the birds and the majesty of the stars at night. Simply fantastic!

A Little Piece of Paradise

My husband & I loved our 7 day stay at the bunkie!! We wished we could have stayed longer!! Property was very clean & private, trails were like a well manicured lawn. Water was crystal clear & we got some kayaking in as a bonus!! ~Karen

Greystone Bunkie

Susan was very attentive host. Enjoyed our conversation. She gave us tips on what to see on peninsula. Really enjoyed her home grown tomatoes and chocolate zucchini bread. She also has many trails on the property that we didn't have enough time to explore.

It was lovely to connect with you and your brother-in-law Robert. Sorry for the snafu when you arrived in Toronto which caused you to lose a day up here on the peninsula. Perfect, serene, quiet, peaceful and gem of a place to be

My family and I had a great time here for my bday. Just what we all needed for a quiet and peaceful place to be with. Bunkie was perfect for a small family like myself. They have a beautiful veggie garden. Amazing view and they did some nice work to the acre land. Loved walking the trails with my dog. The fenced in property helped with the dog being able to roam around freely and enjoy. Georgian Bluff is heavenly place to be at! We will be back and thankyou to Susan for everything and her hospitality!

Peaceful getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in the bunkie. It took a day to warm up but it was cozy after that. The fenced property was perfect for the kids & our small dog to run around. We enjoyed hiking on the trails and such a variety of apples everywhere! Everything was as described and we really appreciated the access to a 2nd bathroom & laundry. We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner under the covered patio by the greenhouse. Would love to return in the summer! Susan was the perfect host.

Serene Location

While a bit small, the bunkie was well-equipped and clean. We enjoyed having the use of the grill and the full-size fridge. The location was perfect for seeing the area and the quiet setting was lovely. There was air conditioning, which we appreciated the first night, which was hot; unfortunately, some of the windows/screens are now blocked by the outer ‘shell’ of the bunkie so we couldn’t get as much fresh air as we would have liked. All-in-all though, we would recommend for a couple alone or a small family.

The Greystone Bunkie was a great place to stay!

We had a great stay at The Bunkie. The location is perfect for exploring the lower half of the Bruce Peninsula. All directions provided were clear, and it was easy to find. Everything about The Bunkie was just super - the location, the convenience, the surrounding location, and the grounds, wow, the grounds!! What a beautiful spot - there are trails right on site that are lovingly maintained and fun to walk to explore the landscape and do a little bird watching. The Bunkie is very comfortable, with everything you need for two people. Evenings are quiet and mornings are cheerful and sunny. A quick trip down to the waters edge for end of day cocktails, or early morning viewing of the sunrise are both wonderful. The hosts are so nice and helpful. This was a great place to stay, we'll be back for sure!,
