You drive down a country road to a rural retreat surrounded by red cliffs, cactus, and a rambling brick ranch with a “casita”. There is plenty of parking and a private entrance to your guest home. Inside, you’ll enter freshly remodeled accommodations with soft, neutral colors that set-off the ancient Vermillion Cliffs in every window. Breathtaking.

Our guest home is not only beautifully furnished, but thoughtfully appointed with new ceramic tile flooring and air conditioning / heating system. There are two bedrooms, each with a luxuriously appointed queen-sized bed and closet space. The full bathroom features new plumbing, vanity, and bath/shower. The living room and dining area feature large windows, letting in beautiful light and a full view of the Vermillion Cliffs. The dining area includes a dining table with seating up to 4 guests. Just off the living room is a brand new, fully furnished kitchen, ready for you to prepare a real Southwestern meal. Located conveniently within the Grand Circle of Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon National Parks, this guest house is just 2 miles from downtown Kanab. With its own separate entrance, the guest house is adjoined to the owners main living quarters. The entire home is situated on 5 private acres, with expansive views of the red rock Vermilion Cliffs and the town of Kanab. Enjoy the serenity of our beloved mini ranch, home to our two miniature donkeys and horse.

July 4th retreat in mountains

We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immaculate. We enjoyed the animals. The space is so clean and comfortable. It’s also a beautiful property at the base of the mountains. Stayed for 4 nights, but we could have stayed longer at this location. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful.

Relaxing and Peaceful

Wonderful!

We enjoyed this little casita very much! Very cute, cozy and comfortable. Mike and Jody are lovely people and made sure we knew they were available for anything that we may need. They gave us very good advice as they are very knowledgeable about the area. It really helped us make the most of our time spent there. Highly recommend. Hope to visit again someday!!

Magical stay

What a beautiful place to stay!

The casita was simply wonderful and the surroundings stunning. The donkeys were a huge added bonus. Our last night was made extra special by the meteor shower we witnessed - What a send off!!

Best Place To Stay In Kanab

This place is fantastic, better than it shows in the pictures. Location is absolutely beautiful and quiet. Host are the nicest people. Would definitely recommend staying here. Five plus stars!

Great place!

We had a great time in Kanab. The casita was perfect. This location was great. We were about 30 minutes from Zion and a little over an hour from antelope slot canyon and Horse Bend in Page Arizona. The hosts were so friendly and the casita was a great home base.

Great place to be!

We had a great time at Jody´s place. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed staying at the Casita. Kanab is a perfect spot to do all the spots around within a daytrip (Bryce, Zion, North Rim, Lake Powell ....). Thank you Jody for the very pleasant stay!

Quite cozy place!

We loved this property and location. It was a bit cozy for 4 adults and only 1 bathroom but we made it work. The place is beautiful, newly remolded and very well appointed.

Wonderful stay

We couldn’t have been happier with our visit to Kanab. The location was perfectly situated - close to town, Zion, and most importantly, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The hosts were wonderful and we had everything we needed to make it a great trip. We’re already trying to figure out when we can come back.

Peaceful retreat close to town

Outstanding accommodations

We rented both units and it was very roomy with 11 total in our group. The home is well maintained and we loved the family gatherings in the open dining/kitchen/family room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location for NP day trips

Lovely property. Clean and well kept. Great location for day trips to Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon. Town of Kanab had some really good restaurants and cute shops. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Jody and Mike for your hospitality!

Kanab Beauty!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in Kanab. Clean, quiet, well-appointed and a wonderful location for us. Our hosts were welcoming and provided all the brochures and information we needed to experience this beautiful area of Utah. Highly recommend!

Perfect Honeymoon Getaway

My husband and I chose to stay here for our long overdue honeymoon and it was perfect. The casita has so much personality and felt like a little home away from home. The location is perfectly, centrally located to all of the places we wanted to visit and the scenery is spectacular! Jody and Mike were ready with plenty of helpful suggestions and we loved meeting their four-legged family members, especially Maggie and the donkeys😁 We hope to return again!

Awesome Casita!!

Casita was amazing! Quiet, immaculate and very close to local grocery stores and restaurants. The Casita was very well stocked! Host Jody and Mike were very welcoming. This was just what my husband and I needed after visiting the national parks. We highly recommend this Casita and I have to mention the adorable donkeys that were such an added joy!

Great time in Utah

The home is very comfortable and welcoming. Got to meet the owner who was very nice. They are available if you need anything which is great. The home is located in middle of everything we wanted to see. I know if we were to come back to Utah we would stay here sgain.

Perfect house for our group of 10

We loved staying at this home. The house, including the suite, was just the right size for our large family group. The location was convenient to Best Friends, where we volunteered during the day. The kids loved the basketball hoop on the back patio; the Best Friends sleepover dog loved the fenced front yard. The owners were friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again if/when we return to Kanab.

I've rented two other houses in Kanab and this one is by far the best. It's clean, roomy and the furniture and appliances are on the newer side. The location is beautiful. You can park in the garage and they allow sleep-over dogs from Best Friends. I will definately be back.

Great house, Great Location

Six hikers rented the entire property, each had their own beds with two people per bath/shower. The two refrigerators allowed us to stock up for the stay in one shopping trip. The owners even greeted us with fresh flowers! This house is huge, comfortable and convenient. If we had known what we know now, we would have booked it for a longer stay. We all want to go back to the area to explore further and would book this house again.

Best friends volunteer

Perfect home in a perfect location for volunteering at Best Friends and visiting the National Parks. Home is clean and spacious, a wonderful homey space to entertain and spend time with family and friends. Capped off the trip with my son adopting a furbaby from BF. We'll definitely be back.
