All the comforts of home await you in our quiet 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment on a private lane in downtown Kirkland. Kirkland is an upscale 'beach town' located 15 minutes East of downtown Seattle on Lake Washington. Lots of parks, shopping, bistros, coffee shops, art galleries, boating, hiking and much more. Our little apartment is a great alternative to the Heathman Hotel and Woodmark Hotel's that are nearby. Camera on parking area for guests auto security. Window in the living room looks out to private patio and garden. Spa like walk in shower and robes. Luxury linens/towels, hair dryer, curling/flat iron, iron board. Fully stocked kitchen, FREE Wi-Fi, full cable, air conditioning for summer comfort. New Mattress as of 2/2020. Read a book, relax outside on the comfortable lounge chairs. Have a glass of wine on the patio conversation area and fire pit. BBQ and have dinner on your private patio. Parking for 1 car is included. The apartment is a jewel. It glows with warmth. It is the perfect place for one or two travelers. The bed was super comfy. The small fireplace gives off enough heat to warm the apartment. The neighborhood is quiet & friendly. We will definitely stay here again. The photos, the description, & the reviews are accurate. This a five star apartment.

Very tranquil and comfortable

The property was well tended to. Super clean and stocked with everything you need to stay one day or one year! Jill and Rick were awesome hosts. We greatly appreciated everything they offered. The seating area outside was just amazing! Would stay here again, no doubts about it! Thank you for having us and helping us have a great experience in the seattle area!

Fun stay in Kirkland

We were very pleased with our stay in Kirkland. The property was very well maintained and in pristine condition. The entire MIL was so clean and comfortable. There were extra perks included that were thoughtful and appreciated.

This was the perfect home away from home while we visited our son in Seattle. When traveling, it is so nice to have a suitable sitting area to work and rest. The MIL is gorgeous, with top quality furnishings and amenities. The bathroom was spa-like, very luxurious, and we loved having the kitchenette for all its many uses. The bed was like sleeping on a clod, wonderful feather down!

Thank you for your hospitality

This place is so beautiful we didn't want to leave! Our reason for traveling to the area was to spend time with our kids and grandkids. We began each day warm and cozy with a great cup of coffee in a gorgeous setting. We filled our days with family and fun in Kirkland and retreated each evening to all the comforts of home. Both the MIL and Carriage House are impeccably kept with stunning decor. They are comfortable, warm, quiet and extremely clean. We always look forward to coming back.

Cute apartment in Kirkland

The apartment is fully furnished, kitchen is stocked with essentials and refreshments. Jill and Rick are like good neighbors. The backyard is beautiful with blooming flowers. Nice and quite sitting out there in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea (donuts will be a bonus). The bed is comfortable, bathroom is very nice and also stocked, good shampoo ( I am picky about shampoo). Thank you very much. We had a good time.

Wonderful stay in Kirkland

Jill's place was just great. Nice secluded location in a great area of Kirkland. Close to everything. The back yard was awesome for sitting outside and visiting. The interior nicely done and lacked nothing. This was much more comfortable than hotel I've stayed in the area. Jill and her husband were very helpful and gracious hosts. I would definitely stay here again

This is a fabulous place!!

From the moment we arrived were amazed at the accommodations. Jill is a marvelous decorator; all of the rooms displayed her special touches and made us feel right at home. I could not have asked for a more comfortable bed to recover from my 30 hour jet lag traveling from Italy. Jill and Rick were great hosts - they greeted us as we arrived, Rick was always checking in with us to see if we needed anything and then they both came by to say goodbye and wish us safe travels home. Couldn't have been a more perfect way to spend 4 days in Kirkland. We hope to be back soon and will recommend their VRBO to everyone we know!!

The property is so cozy and comfortable. So many nice touches to make your stay a perfect experience. They were very accommodating and genuinely cared about making your stay relaxing. Very quite yet really quick to shops, restaurants & highway. We would absolutely stay again.

Comfortable, tasteful suite with deliciously fragrant bed linen.

The suite (and its lush surrounds) is exceptionally comfortable ...... and therefore inviting for an extended stay. It really felt like a home away from home. The hosts were charming, generous and accommodating. The location was perfect.

It was a beautiful home with everything you could imagine available!

When I first walked in, I was so impressed with the beauty and charm of this quaint little MIL. It is about a mile off the water with beautiful views and impeccable cleanliness. We stayed here for our honeymoon and will always cherish the memories. It is simply lovely!

Simply Lovely

We often go to Kirkland for work and a long weekend of touring the local wineries. This trip we decided to forgo the usual hotel and stay at this lovely apartment, we couldn't be more pleased we found this wonderful gem. Everything was exactly as pictured and just as comfortable as it looked. The bed was amazing and it was easy to feel like you wanted to sleep in, quaint well stocked kitchen and sizable bathroom. Did I tell you they supplied robes?? I can't wait to stay again and wish I could add more stars to the experience. Thank you!!!

Would love to stay here again!

For us, it was the perfect spot. Modern, well maintained and very clean. Super quiet road and easy to find. Well appointed kitchen and bath. Electric fireplace took the chill off the apartment easily. Very comfortable queen sized bed. Owner communication was timely and full of good information on restaurants, things to do, etc.

We looked for quite a while before we found this perfect location for us. It is on a private lane, yet in the middle of downtown Kirkland.

Our little MIL apartment is perfect for those that want to get away and yet feel like they are still at home. It is private and you can come and go as you please. It is a downstairs apartment that is part of our home on a private lane. There is a private little patio off the back to sit and drink coffee or a nice happy hour in the afternoon. Walk to all that downtown Kirkland has to offer, take in all the nice Wineries in downtown Woodinville, or a 20 minute drive to downtown Seattle to visit Pike's Market and all the fun activities of downtown. We are an hour and a half from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, Stevens Pass which are both great Ski Areas. The San Juan Islands are close for beauty, whale watching, and wine tasting at some of the local wineries on the Islands. If you want to go biking/hiking, there are lots of wonderful hikes and bike trails close by. Of course if you need retail therapy...I can give you all the inside scoop on that! We hope that you enjoy your stay with us and feel comfortable and at home. 2 person Max. NO SMOKING!
