Cozy Lakeside Cabin + Swim Dock + Kayak + Canoe

Escape to our charming, secluded, recently renovated 2-bed, 1-bath cabin on the serene shores of Lake Catherine in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Perfect for a peaceful retreat, our cabin offers cozy interiors with modern touches, stunning lake views, and easy access to outdoor activities with ultimate privacy. Relax on the deck, fish or swim off the private dock only for cabin guests, go kayaking or canoeing, or explore nearby hiking trails. Ideal for families or couples looking to unwind in nature.

This is a very unique property composed of 7 acres that the cabin and another larger Airbnb home share. The dock and swim dock for the cabin are for the cabin use only, the other house has it's own private dock and dock access. There is a fenced yard for your canine friends as well at the cabin.

To get to the cabin you will have to drive down a very steep paved hill, which means you will have to go up the hill on the way out, so a vehicle that can handle a steep incline is highly recommended. There is only room for one vehicle to park at the cabin, we have parking for additional vehicles up top if needed.

The cabin has the perfect layout and is super secluded for relaxing with family or friends. A large super comfortable leather couch, a large wifi-connected TV and dining table allow ample room to play games or relax. The master bedroom downstairs has a very comfy king bed and there is a queen bed in the loft up above. There is a bathroom with a nice tub and full-size washer and dryer.

Due to the proximity to the lake, the cabin has a grinder-pump sewage lift system. Flushing ANYTHING besides human waste and septic-safe toilet paper will cause the system to alarm and require emergency maintenance. Guests will be charged if the system alarms.

Please be aware that the road leading to the property is very steep and may become dangerous during periods of ice, snow, or freezing temperatures. While the scenic location adds to the charm of your stay, it also means that the road may be dangerous and not be able to be cleared safely.

Typically, the weather is quite pleasant, but if there are freezing temperatures for prolonged periods of time prior to your arrival, please reach out to us to discuss available options (which may include rebooking or cancellation).

You will have access to the entire cabin and all its surroundings with private lake access, dock, and swim dock. You will share the entire property with the house above so please be respectful of your neighbors.

This is our home, not a hotel, please treat it as such.
Front-door access code will be provided before check-in. We welcome your pups but please clean up after them and keep them off the furniture and beds. 2 dogs maximum, if you absolutely must bring more than 2 dogs there will be an additional $50 pet fee per dog. Sorry, we don’t allow cats.

Guests must be at least 21 years old to rent this property.

Please don't forget to text us when you check out. Check out is 11:00, a late fee may be applied if you check out after 11:00.

1. No parties or events allowed.
2. No pets on the furniture or bed. If pet fur is found on the furniture or beds you will be assessed an additional $50 cleaning fee.
3. Absolutely NO smoking allowed inside. If our cleaning crew reports residue from smoking inside you could be subject to an additional $500 cleaning fee.
4. No unregistered guests allowed.
5. Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms
6. Please turn up the AC and lights off when you go out.
7. Please respect check-in and check-out times.
8. Please take care of the furnishings. You’re responsible for damages.
9. Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
10. Please do your dishes.
11. Please take the trash out before you leave.
12. Please make sure to put the kayaks and canoe back if you used them and put the life jackets and paddles back
13. No illegal substances are allowed on the premises.
