Enter Florence through its main door. "Asso's Place" allows you to live a unique experience: live in the heart of the city centre in a splendid apartment with a stunning view of the Duomo.
The apartment, 120 sq meters (1300 sq feet), has 2 beautiful and bright bedrooms separated by a living room and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen with a dining room has a nice balcony.
The apartment is extremely quiet and has been renovated in December 2016 to ensure your stay is is even more pleasant.

The apartment is on the second floor and there is a lift (that is quite unusual for the city center buildings).
You will find amenities like radio, cd player, wi fi, wifi loudspeaker, towels, TV, washing machine...

Our stay at Asso's Place was the best ever! Having stayed in Florence at several different VRBO offerings, this was ideal for us. First, the apartment is great: nice/comfortable living room, excellent baths and showers, very comfortable beds, good kitchen, and the location cannot be beat!Our hosts provided us with essential information before and during our stay. We felt very welcomed.

This is truly one of the most incredible places in one of the most incredible cities I have ever visited. Walking into a space filled with beautiful art and comfortable furnishings, then looking out the window to see the Duomo, felt like a dream come true.We traveled as a group of four ranging in age from 12 to 82, and every single one of us had a fabulous time. The hosts were incredibly gracious, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Having an elevator available was also very convenient, especially with all of our suitcases (and grandpa!)My daughter and I especially loved taking late-night walks around the city for gelato and shopping. The location is absolutely unbeatable. You can easily walk to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, shopping, local boutiques, leather shops, and so much more.I cannot express enough how special this place is. We are definitely coming back, and next time we will be bringing even more family with us.

This was a gorgeous apartment in the heart of all things Florence! Raffaella, our host, was welcoming and gave us great info on local treats. Beds were comfy, showers were hot, clean and powerful. It's a large apartment which enable us to enjoy some wine, cheese and conversation each evening while looking at the view of the Duomo. I've already recommended this place and will continue to do so. Should we ever be blessed to get back to Firenze, we will DEFINITELY stay here agan!

Our stay was excellent. The view of the Duomo, especially at night, was stunning. The flat was exceptionally spacious for a city center location. Raffaella was an excellent host who greeted us personally upon arrival and departure, even helping us with a cab upon our departure. Location was ideal to walk to all the major sites. Would highly recommend this property.

Our host Raffaella and Piero were wonderful hosts. The apartment was outstanding and so much more. The location was ideal for exploring Florence, the Museums, the Duomo, Medici Chapel, the restaurants , the restaurants and gelato. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

The apartment itself is beautiful and in such a great central location in Florence. The view out of the living room window really makes the apartment unique and such a special place to stay. For being so close to the Duomo and a very high traffic area the apartment was very quiet. Beds were comfortable and it was nice having a full kitchen. The only thing that we had to ding was that the washing machine was broken, and it seemed like it had been broken for awhile so it would've been good to know that before arriving so we could have made adjustments to our travel plans. Other than that, we loved our stay.

Great florence location

Asso's place was in walking distance to everything ! Near restaurants and great shops. Raffaella was a wonderful host and helped us have a smooth move in and was very responsive to all our questions. The elevator is a plus ! Would highly recommend this property.

Superb apartment in very central location

The apartment is spacious, very clean and well maintained and at least as impressive as the photos depict.Hosts were extremely helpful before, during and at the end of our stay with information, recommendations and help with reservations/tacis. Not the cheapest accom in Florence but really good value. Would definitely return.

The Best View in Florence!

My husband and I just completed our dream vacation to Italy. Rafaella and Pietro were the perfect, welcoming hosts offering a wonderful apartment with a stunning view of the Duomo in the center of Florence. The check in and check out process was a breeze and we appreciated the helpful tips that our hosts provided for things to see and places to visit. We also appreciated the bottle of wine! The apartment was neat, clean, and close to everything. We loved it! It was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home in Florence.

Best Apartment in the Historical District!

We stayed a week in this lovely, comfortable apartment and loved it. The location can’t be beat and while it is on a busy street, the apartment is quiet with no street noise. Morning coffee and evening glass of wine with a view of the Duomo is the perfect way to start and end your day in Florence. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. Raffaella was very helpful and responsive. We had an issue with consistent hot water in the second bathroom and Raffaella was immediately responsive to the issue. We would love to stay in this apartment again when we return to Florence.

Awesome place

The location of this apartment was GREAT! Rafaella was a great host and met us at the front door. She explained everything about the apt and was not hurried about it. She truly made us feel welcomed. Our only issue was the mosquitos. The windows are not screened. There is ac available which we finally decided to use although having the windows open on cool evenings would have been nice. It's not the fault of the host. Just something for others to be aware of. We did not use the kitchen much but it was well appointed if needed. We made use of the washer but there is no dryer (as is the case for most). There is a drying rack and it did the job just fine. Just need to plan ahead for doing laundry. We would definitely stay here again.

An incredible stay!

This property was just perfect. Spacious, clean, in the perfect location. We loved having this as our homebase as we explored Florence. Rafaella was super accessible, and helpful. The views from the apartment were incredible. It was so helpful have laundry. We hope to return!

The apartment was just as advertised and the view is actually what you see from your windows. The Duomo became the dominant feature and we lovedthe bells, even at 7 a.m. Easy walking to most sights and convenient to a lot of good restaurants. There is no dryer but they do provide a drying rack. The coffee machine was very nice. We found awesome pastries at a couple of nearby shops. Plenty of room and privacy for two couples. We appreciated the manager meeting us and showing us the apartment.

The best place to stay with the most gracious of hosts

Piero and Raffaella not only provide an amazing place to stay with every amenity you could possibly need, but are also incredibly generous and gracious hosts. They offered us such great advice for restaurants and options to attend concerts and Christmas Mass - things that don’t always pop up in guide books. We also rented a car for trips to the countryside and had a very easy experience using the garage that was just around the corner (Raffaella was kind enough to reserve a spot for us, prior to our arrival) from the apartment. The view from the living room is a dream - listening to music, drinking a glass of wine, sitting on the couch and admiring the Duomo every night was such a treat. The artwork and decorations throughout are sublime. We felt so at home during our stay. My family all agreed - this was truly a five star experience in every aspect. Thank you so much for all of your help and guidance, Piero and Raffaella! And for allowing to stay in such a magical spot for the Christmas holidays.

Wonderful stay at Asso's Place

We had a wonderful stay at Asso's Place in the heart of Florence's historical district. The apartment has tons of amazing personal touches and felt very homey. We particularly enjoyed the art and books throughout the apartment, which I don't think that you can fully appreciate from the photographs. Another thing that you can't get a sense of from the photos is the location of the apartment in the building. From the U.S. perspective, it is on the third floor (second floor from a European perspective) and the majority of the windows faced North. This was ideal given the location of the apartment, which is located on a street to the South of the building with a ton of activity on it. With the apartment's orientation, there was the benefit of being in the busy heart of the city, but no problems from having noise coming up from the street late at night. Raffaella, along with Piero, are the hosts. We did not meet Piero, but she was absolutely delightful and super helpful throughout our stay there. The apartment was more spacious than we had expected, and I would definitely stay there again if I had the opportunity.

A wonderful apartment and a wonderful host!

The apartment is a large, comfortable two bedroom, two bath apartment with a spacious living room and a breakfast room and kitchen. There is a view of the Duomo dome from one of the bedrooms and from the balcony. Absolutely stunning! She also has a guest booklet explaining how to use everything in the apartment, listing favorite restaurants and things to do. Super organized! She recommended a restaurant called vine e vecchio which was by far the best food we had in Florence. The staff there are super friendly and funny. You need a reservation, so try to get one in advance, it’s worth it. The apartment is not like a sterile property management kind of apartment. It was filled with lots of original art and nice touches. She had a bottle of red and white wine waiting for us as were as a bottle of sparkling water and a container of milk. The apartment had olive oil and balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper as well as coffee. If I lived in Florence, I would definitely like to live in an apartment like hers! ! The apartment even had a small elevator to take up your luggage and one person which really was nice. Rafaella is the most gracious host you could imagine. She offered to help us make a dinner reservation and most importantly when I left an important document (by mistake) she expended a lot of effort to get to the post office and found the fastest way to send me the document. And she did it so graciously!!! I felt confident that this would be taken care of!

Everything as advertised! Hosts were very responsive and made check-in a breeze. Answered all our questions and provided great references for restaurants. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Florence.

You can go in and out and be immediately in the heart of the City, but also feel like you are away as the apartment is extremely quiet. The view from the living room is , honestly breathtaking. The bedrooms have privacy and with a fully equipped kitchen you have the opportunity to buy and cook meals instead of going out every day. Piero offers a complimentary walk around town full of interesting stories.
