Located on the 1st fairway of the award-winning Teeth of the Dog golf course and across the street from the first fairway of The Links golf course at Casa de Campo, this family-owned villa has amazing views and a great location to all of the resort attractions. Golf Villa 5 in the beautiful resort of Casa de Campo, is the best value for vacationers looking to stay any time of year in the Dominican Republic.

This villa is in the most centrally located of all other Casa de Campo listings. Walk to the Teeth of the Dog pro shop to tee off, walk to the driving range, or take a short stroll to the hotel. Just a 5-minute golf cart ride to the beach or Marina.

Our villa is staffed with a maid for general cleaning. Enjoy the evening on either of 2 3 balconies, one enclosed and two open-air. Relax upstairs with an amazing view of the 1st fairway and Caribbean or downstairs in one of 2 bedrooms, each with 2 double beds.

Take a short walk to numerous dining options or fix a quick bite in the kitchen in the villa. Parking is also available for 1 vehicle in front of the villa. Additional parking can be accommodated if necessary.

Great experience

Want to start off with the host, Phyllis, absolutely amazing, helpful, always easy to access, great travel recommendations (Jesus, our driver (809)947-0210 was also a joy), and made us feel welcomed. Location couldnā€™t get better. One the Teeth of the Dog, close to the resort, and mins from the beach. Only negative feedback is the condo is a bit out dated but the view and service provided easily out ways it. Will stay here again, enjoyed breakfast over looking the view and rooms were large. Thank you for a great trip!

You get what you pay forā€¦maybe less

We had a great stay at Casa de Campo, but the lodgings were the only negative to our vacation. Advertised on VRBO as the ā€˜best deal in CdCā€™, itā€™s because the unit is lacking many things youā€™d expect from other properties at such a high-end resort. Flora (maid) was great, and communications with property manager were efficient/easy (WhatsApp is best). Climate control: only AC in the bedrooms. The bathrooms and upstairs (where kitchen/living area are) was steamy hot, even with windows open/ceiling fans on. We are used to the heat and humidity of Central America, but for those not used to it (avg Americans), it would be unbearable in the non-AC areas of the house. Esthetics: very outdated, with poorly maintained landscaping (kept brushing up against overgrown plants to get to front door), in desperate need for a power washing on exterior. Cheap hangers in the bedroom closets barely fit around the hanging rod. Kitchen appliances are super old. Microwave actually tripped a breaker while we were there. Little things: no welcome book we could find that gave recommendations, no instructions on using things like the TV, nor where to go in our golf cart and how to get there. We were given a key ring with 8 identical looking keys on it for use on various doors, but none were labeledā€”so we had to go through a tedious game of ā€˜pick a key and hopeā€™ every time we came back to the unit. Overall, could be a great if owner gave it some love and updated it. Location is phenomenal!!

Wonderful stay at Casa de Campo

We used to live here in a golf villa more than 30 years ago and were looking for an affordable option at Casa de Campo to attend a relative's wedding. The owner Phyllis recommended a great driver with reasonable rates to take us to and from Punta Cana airport and a golf cart rental recommendation was very good too. Her communication from start to finish was excellent. Checkin was quick and easy even though we arrived late due to a flight delay. Casa de Campo is a world class 5,000 acre resort, absolutely gorgeous everywhere. The next morning we were able to look around the villa and it was very clean and neat and had everything we needed, linens and kitchen items which we only used for coffee in the morning and snacks since we were out most of the day and night. . Flora the housekeeper was terrific, unobtrusive and did a perfect job of cleaning up after us. If you are looking for an affordable basic villa in a great location near the hotel and beach with beautiful views this is it. The villa is in need of updating, if you are looking for modern, luxurious accomodations this is not it, but it otherwise was comfortable for myself and my husband and was exactly what we expected and we had a wonderful stay.

Great little place.

I love the area the place was in. I loved how the rooms were separated downstairs and the living area and kitchen was upstairs. It gave the right amount of privacy and also a great little area for us to get together. Location was great.

wedding in Case de Campo

We are just returned from a family wedding and stayed in Golf Villa 5 for 6 nights. It was everything as described and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Phyllis was very easy to deal with and everything went according to plan. We went to the Hotel for breakfast each morning as this suited us but could have just as easily used the kitchen facilities in the villa. We played golf one day and it could not have been more convenient literally a hundred yards away! The equestrian centre is also very adjacent as is the beach. We hired a golf cart to zip around the resort and visit family members staying nearby and Jesus from Taxi case de Campo was wonderful in doing the airport transfer and other trips. I don't know if we will ever have the chance again to visit DR again but would certainly recommend Villa 5 for one or two couples who want to get away from it all with fun things to do or just relax. New years eve stay

We were looking for a small and affordable villa because we didn't want to the hotel rates and also we wanted to cook our meals since it was me my husband and our 3 teenagers. This villa was perfect for us, we fit perfect and also had Flora (the maid) who helped us out with breakfast and other easy cookings that we did. In our case the children spend most of the time out (beach, pool, visiting friends, Chavon, ect...) so even is a small villa we didn't felt like that. The kitchen is small but equipt with what you need to preprare meals. The location is prime. Phylis, the owner was very nice to us and was reachable when we needed. We will definitely stay in this villa again.

Location Cannot Be Beat

First, the owner, Phyllis is responsive and easy to work with. The location is fantastic for golfers. We stayed 5 nights and my husband played golf every day. You can walk to the putting clock and driving range and practice at any time. He very much enjoyed the close location to the golf club and the driving range. The view is on the fairway of one of the most beautiful courses in the world. There are two bedrooms downstairs, both with working air conditioning and their own bathroom. They are spacious with two double beds, which is perfect for 4 golfers. Couples might prefer king beds but this set up works just fine. Flora, the maid, comes daily and is a gem! We tipped her daily and she seemed so pleased. She even did our laundry. The living room is comfortable late in the evening but was very hot during the day - we were not there anyway so it did not matter. The kitchen is small but has all the items needed to prepare meals there. We liked Onno's in Altos De Chevron (Happy Hour is 5-8 PM - 2 for 1 margaritas) and Peperoni in the Marina. The Marina has groceries and they are reasonably priced if you like to cook in the condo. Buy beer in bottles and pepsi in plastic bottles, not aluminum cans as it is cheaper. My recommendation is do not rent a car - schedule transfer through www.dominicanairporttransfers.com or www.dominicanplus.com. Both were professional and safe. The Quality Inn by the airport is the best hotel if your flight is early in the morning out of Santo Domingo. We will definitely stay here again for a golf vacation.
