Located in the heart of Portland's Iconic Hawthorne neighborhood, this charming craftsman bungalow style house offers a cozy retreat for guests all within easy walking distance to Portland's best restaurants, shops and entertainment!!

With a soothing bedroom featuring a plush queen bed and walk in closet. A relaxing spa like bathroom with a 6' shower w/rain head and deep soak bathtub. Well equipped, full kitchen for all of your cooking needs, and an open living space with a sofa bed and futon, this property is excellent for a peaceful stay.

Marissa was a great host! All of my questions were answered quickly, and we felt right at home for the weekend. The house was awesome, the bed was super comfy, and the huge tub was such a nice luxury after a long day. The neighborhood itself was great too, with so much within a 5 minute walk and plenty of street parking. My friends and I would absolutely stay here again.

Marissa was such a great host! She provided everything you might need (snacks, bubble bath and bombs, makeup remover, Q tips…) and she replied back to messages so fast! Location was a plus.

We needed a place to stay for a quick overnight in Portland. We were a short Uber ride from downtown as we needed a rental with ample safe parking for our very large truck. This place was clean and comfortable and we would recommend it without hesitation. Thank You

Wonderful Hawthorne Getaway!!

Marissa provided a wonderful space and was very accomodating! The bath rub is out of this world. Very close to a lot of fun places. We went to the Thai Farmhouse, only a few blocks away. Marissa told us about that too! Great place and great lady! I would defifntely rent from Marissa again

We really loved this place.

We really loved this place. It is spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. It's a really nice space to hang out and relax. There are lots of thoughtful details like coffee, tea, shampoo, body wash and other amenities that you don't always have in a rental. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils. The bathroom is super nice (rain shower and soaking tub) and the bed is comfortable. The neighborhood is great. It is a short walk up to Hawthorne or down to Division for dining, shopping etc. It was easy to get around using mass transit and was close to several bus lines. We would definitely stay there again if we're in the area.

Best location!

I chose this property because of the location mainly however the stay was a huge plus. We were walking distance from so many shops, restaurants and grocery stores. We barely drove this trip. We stayed for a week and Marissa was very responsive, helpful and made sure our trip was as smooth as possible. The only thing to note is that she and one other do live at this location so keep in mind that if you don’t like hearing others walking around or doing activities at night then I would double check other listings. But U overall had an amazing stay and when I come back to Portland this will definitely be on my list!

Thanks so much Alana for your thoughtful response!! I’m so glad to hear that you had a great time and enjoyed your stay here! We also had enjoyed having you both as guests and thought you were great. You’re correct that some sound does travel from the basement to upstairs since it is a shared property. Both myself and the tenant live in separate units in the basement so there’s an occasional door opening/closing or a beep from a microwave someone might hear while they stay upstairs from below. Neither of us stay up too late but during evening hours, we are conscious of whoever is staying upstairs to make sure their stay is comfortable since we want the same in return. Even though we make efforts to keep noise to a minimum in general, in the evening, extra efforts are made as in not having the microwave beep as an example. I wanted to make sure you’re aware for whenever you decide to stay in the future, we do our best to be mindful of others that are staying. Thanks again Alana for being a great guest!
