A Private Spa-Inspired Escape on Old Hickory Lake
Cottage 310 is the private main level of The Cozy Cottage on Old Hickory Lake, now offered as an exclusive spa retreat for two guests.
The main level has been thoughtfully prepared as a private, couples-focused escape centered on rest, warmth, and restoration.
With a king suite, infrared dry sauna, towel warmer, Turkish cotton robes, spa slippers, lakeside deck, firepit, and kayaks, this retreat feels tucked away from the world — yet remains just 35 minutes from downtown Nashville.
This is where lake life slows down.
The Space:
Cottage 310 occupies the entire main living level of the lakefront home. The lower level remains closed during your stay, ensuring no shared interior spaces and complete privacy.
Access to the main level is via exterior stairs to the deck. Once inside, all living areas are on a single level.
Originally a modest fishing cabin, the home has been carefully restored and elevated into a cedar-lined lakeside retreat. Natural textures, warm light, and water views create a setting that feels intentional from the moment you arrive.
This is not a space arranged for photographs.
It feels designed, not staged — comfortable, personal, and quietly refined.
Inside you’ll find:
• King bedroom with ensuite bath
• Cedar-lined living room with electric fireplace and lake views
• Fully equipped kitchen with granite counters
• Curated coffee bar with pods, teas & syrups
• Dining area for two
At the heart of the retreat is the spa experience:
• Infrared red-light therapy dry sauna
• Towel warmer for post-sauna comfort
• Turkish cotton basket-weave robes
• Spa slippers waiting at the sauna
It’s less about “amenities” and more about how the space makes you feel — warm, settled, and unhurried.
Outdoor Living
The upper deck overlooks a calm, protected cove near Sunset Island — ideal for morning coffee and quiet evening meals.
The lower patio offers comfortable seating and a fire table. From there, it’s just 57 easy steps across a gently sloped grassy yard to the water’s edge, where you can kayak, fish, or simply sit and listen to the lake.
Wildlife is part of daily life here. Deer wander through the yard, turtles sun along the shoreline, geese glide by at dawn, and fox sightings are occasional but memorable.
End your evening at the wood-burning firepit as stars reflect across the water.
