Located in a completely renovated landmark brownstone in the heart of the Upper West Side, steps from Central Park and many wonderful shops and restaurants, this bright, sunny one bedroom apartment with a large terrace is 3 flights up and is facing the garden side of the building. We don't have an elevator in our building like most, if not all historic brownstone townhouse on our street and neighborhood. We will be happy to help you with your luggage when you move in and out.

The apartment boasts hardwood floors, large windows with Hunter Douglas custom blinds, storage space including a large closet in the bedroom with Custom Made Elfa shelves and a Washer Dryer.
The living area comes complete with a full-size leather sofa-bed, 1 leather ottoman/ coffee table, a l HD 1080p 37” TV ready for internet streaming (Netflix, You Tube, etc.), a home theater system, play station. The dining room has a glass dining table with 4 chairs, a chest and shelves with the dedicated WiFi router.
The bedroom room has a contemporary queen-size custom-made bamboo bed with lots of storage under, large closet with custom-made Elfa Shelves opening to a terrace with a table, and 2 chairs. The Bedroom has "between the Glass Blinds" doors through two sides which is quite unique.
The kitchen features, top of the line custom made cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave oven and a dishwasher. It is also fully stocked with all the basics you will need for day-to-day living: a toaster, coffee maker, and electric water kettle.
The European-tiled contemporary bathroom has a bathtub with a Grohe handheld and overhead shower in tub, extensive storage below and above the sink, and a toilet.
ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: The living Room and bedroom have their own separate remote controlled AC units. Bosch Washer Dryer in the apartment. Wired and Wi-Fi high speed internet connection. IP based Audio Video intercom system in each apartment CCTV and Access Point Entry System in the building Complimentary Laundry in the building (30 Nights Minimum Stay)
Between Amsterdam Avenue and Columbus Avenue, one block away from Line 1 and Line D subway stations for easy access to almost everywhere in Manhattan. It is also located only one block from Broadway, an upscale shopping district.
Easy access to Zabar, Columbia University, New York Presbyterian, Barnard, The Jewish Theological Seminary, Manhattan School of Music, American Museum of Natural History, Fordham University, Lincoln Center and Metropolitan Opera.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: $ 1,500 security deposit for up to a month stay. The security deposit may be collected by the portal, not paid directly to the owner. It will be refunded after moving out.
GUEST ACCESS: Guests will have access to the apartment using a fob to open the entrance door to the building and the vestibule door. We have security cameras through the hallways and the entrance of the building. They will have an apartment equipped with everything they might need for a long-term stay. They can use free of charge the finished laundry room with two washers/two dryers. Only four apartments might use them, so it is very convenient.
PLEASE NOTE, with advanced notice to the tenants, owner has the right to show the apartment to prospective tenants, have access to the apartment for maintenance (AC filters cleaning for example) or repair purposes. The utilities are to be discussed with the host for stays of 30 days or longer, depending on the period of the year.
The building is completely network wired which is managed professionally by the owner. The building has cameras on each floor. Entry to the building is accessible with a fob connected to a computerized access point and IP based audio/video intercom system. The apartment is network wired and both WiFi and wired internet access is available.
Tenants have free of charge access to the laundry room in the building with two washers/two dryers.
The normal check in date is 4:00 pm and check out time is 10:30 am unless other arrangements are made with the owner.
PARKING: Being a high-end residential area, Upper West Side where our building is located is one of the rare areas where you can still park for free. You can park on the street free of charge except for four days a week between 8:30 am to 10:00 am, Mon and Thu on the North side of our street and Tue and Fri on the South side of the street, because of street cleaning. I would say, for the most part the residents park in the street and you don't need a parking permit. During these four days when the street sweeper comes between 8:30 to 10:00, all cars which are parked, you can move your car to the middle of the street or double park so that the sweeper can go thru. After the sweeper is gone, Neighbors move right back to their parking spot, but the driver needs to stay in the car till 10:00 am. If you are on the side which does not have the street cleaning, you can park as long as you want, and it is free. I would say, most residents are able to find a parking spot so that they don't have to move their car during the street cleaning.
There is a parking garage two blocks south, on 83rd street between Columbus and Amsterdam and some tenants might have used it as a long-term parking. If you want to find a long-term parking and don't need the car every day, you can probably find a less expensive parking garage on the west side of Manhattan as you get closer to the Hudson River. I believe you can probably shop around once you are in the city.
Now, this information applies to the street and not to the avenues! I believe we pay about $ 10.75/2 hours on Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues. You are allowed to park a maximum of an hour or two since you cannot pay more with the park meters. Few spots are reserved for commercial parking till 1:00 pm, but I would say if it is for couple of hours you can always find a spot on the avenues as well as with park meters. Oasis in the City
It was clean, safe, amazing location to park, subway and buses with lots of great restaurants, shops and bars just a few steps away. Izi and Ellio were super accommodating. Very quiet street at night.

Izy was an amazing host. He met with us at check in and made sure we had everything we needed and had no questions or concerns. The place was wonderful and in a great location. Wonderful Apartment in Fantastic Location
We loved our two months on the Upper West Side. This apartment was small, but had everything we needed. The washer and dryer are a huge bonus. You can't beat this UWS location - close to everything, especially Central Park. This apt is in the back and it was very quiet. Izi was a great host - attentive, accommodating and thorough. We hope to visit again.

Finding this apartment for an extended stay in the city has been a gift. The building has been completely renovated and apartment furnishings are all first rate, starting with the bed itself. The entire building is clean and well maintained, the owner very responsive, well organized and hospitable. Every part of my experience here has deserved a 5 star review.

Excellent service, Great location
We stayed in this apartment for one month while my daughter was attending a nearby summer dance intensive. The apartment is functional, practical, and close to various restaurants, shops, Central Park, the subway, and other attractions.
The host (Izi) was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay.
If you are looking for a great spot in the Upper West Side, I would definitely recommend this apartment!

We restored this 1880's brownstone preserving all of historic features, but at the same time providing all the luxury with high tech communication infrastructure of an office. For example every corner of the apartments are wired for 100 GB internet connection. Entry to the building is with an IP Intercom etc.

I believe our unique property is in one of the nicest areas of Manhattan with all the amenities we could possibly offer, ie; high speed wired and WIFI internet, Custom made European kitchen with Miele Appliances, Washer/Dryer, IP based video intercom etc.
