Great stay

Everything was nice . Only thing is the water taxis to the location& back take some time , but this is not their fault, just have to be patient. The villa is beautiful , spacious & peaceful.

Amazing place

The water is so clear you can watch the fish swim around the deck and through the glass floor in the living space. We loved the place and would definitely consider coming back again.

Absolutely Stunning!

The property was absolutely stunning. The host is very responsive to any questions or requests. We will stay here anytime we go to Bocas del Toro. We highly recommend booking this property!

Beautiful remote location

Unbelievable view on a more remote island. Excellent if you’re looking to relax away from the crowds and enjoy the beautiful water and view. It requires preparation (bring food and water) but it’s worth it. We spent two days there and it was just right.

The house was a lovely and peaceful getaway! Recommended although I did get a TON of bug bites at night so plan accordingly.

Super Chill

Poli was great with communication. Staying at this house is kinda like living on a boat. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and play in the ocean then this house is for you. It’s a 8 min boat ride to the closest market so bring lots of water with you. You’ll need at least 2 gallons of water a day. You’ll want to brush your teeth and cook with bottled water. The boat ride to Bocas town is 15-20 mins. Bocas town is where you’ll find restaurants, markets, banks, etc. Make sure you bring plenty of cash because you’ll need cash to pay for the water taxis. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and playing in the ocean.

Wonderful Sunset

Quiet paradise in Bocas del Toro. Juan was amazing taking us in the water taxi to and from dock and helping with luggage. Restaurants in the area were great. Downside was lots of little biting bugs. Bocas town is a little rough around the edges. Poli was helpful arranging taxis and providing information.

Absolutely Amazing

We had the absolute best time on our trip. We snorkeled, swam and went kayaking. Poli is a wonderful host and our communication was seamless. The kids agreed it was the best trip ever. We will be back for sure!

Awesome view

We had an amazing time! The property was clean and well stocked. The views were amazing, we were able to jump off our porch into the water. The snorkeling was amazing. Pali was absolutely amazing she helped us in every way possible. The most helpful host we have ever had! We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing spot and home

We truly enjoyed our experience. The home was immaculate. The snorkeling around the home is as good as most snorkeling trips. Owner Poli was extremely attentive to our questions and needs. What a rare experience !

Almost magical

Short water taxi ride from Saigon dock. Very quiet and relaxing location with stunning sunset views. All the comforts of home(except AC)but cooled off during the evening. Poli was extremely helpful and was always in communication. On site helper Ronald was very helpful and was always around to assist if needed. Few no see ems at night but bug spray helped. We are already considering a future visit with family and use both houses!Thank you Poli and Ronald

Phenomenal!

The property was exactly as advertised, and Poli was attentive to our needs. We visited during the off season and were blown away by the quiet solitude of the property the beautiful water, and the kind and attentive caretaker that chauffeured us around in the boat and ensured we had everything we needed. We'll be reserving this again, hopefully the road work will be completed on Isla Colon when we return (it was a mess)!

Best Vacation Ever

That was one of the best trips we did in our lifes. The place is really beautiful, calm and quiet. For those who like, there are many activities like snorkeling, diving, fishing, surfing, kayaking and others. For us, the best part was relaxing and, of course, the boat tours. By the way, the owner is a very nice guy and cooks very well!!!! Every one should goes there to know this paradise. We recommend it!

Peaceful Island Getaway – Great Stay with Poli!

We had a wonderful experience in Bocas Del Toro! The property was exactly as advertised—peaceful, clean, and perfect for a relaxing escape. Poli was an amazing host: friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. The island itself is beautiful and felt very safe, even with our young children (ages 6, 8, and 10). One travel tip: be cautious when booking with AirPanama, as they changed our flight time last-minute, which caused a delay in our arrival. We ended up using Flytrip instead, which provided a much smoother and more exclusive travel experience.Be sure to take Poli’s recommendations for tours, drivers, and shops—they were more reasonably priced and added a lot of value to our trip. Highly recommend this stay for families looking for a safe and memorable adventure!

A boat ride away

The property was as advertised. The property owner was fantastic - ask and she delivers - transportation, drivers - assistance with other properties in Panama City. We three are in our 70s so many of the activities were not used - SCUBA diving. If you want rest, relaxation, beautiful sunrise, sunset, a swim in the cool ocean, this is the place.

Beautiful and peaceful island house.

The house is in good condition and feels like home. We loved the views from the deck and spent most of our time there. I loved rocking in the hammock and listening to the waves and feeling the breeze off the ocean. We took a trip to another part of the island to snorkel but we actually saw more fish right under the house. We even had a ray visit several times. During the day we took a short boat ride to Bocas Town for fun but it was nice to have a quiet place to stay at night. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent stay.

My wife and I stayed for only 3 days and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Lovely location overlooking the water with steps from the deck for easy access to the sea and snorkelling. We were in the blue house with a part glass floor in the lounge area seeing fish in the clear water below. Great fishing with Lio and Angelo. Poli and Lio, the owners are very helpful and the place is spotlessly clean. A trip to Playa de las esters was a nice experience too. Highly recommended and value for money. Fan in the bedroom is fine as there is a cool breeze from the two windows in the bedroom

Our Bocas Adventure

This home was a delight to stay in for 10 days. The home was clean, the kitchen well stocked and the appliances easy to use. The snorkeling around the home was fabulous with numerous varieties of colorful fish and corals all around. It was so convenient, some of the best snorkeling we have ever experienced was right around the house. The very best part of our stay, was the wonderful hospitality we received from our host's. They were warm and generous, and offered great suggestions for dinner and transportation in town. This property would be our first choice in renting, when we return to Bocas del Toro. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.

This is a once in a life time experience, do not miss it! However, you must go with the right expectations. First, don’t worry about anything … communication in Panama is not always clear, but the people are so nice, and really work hard to make things work out. I was concerned about eating. This is a remote bungalow, with no road access. You can only arrive via water taxi and it’s a 15 minute ride to the town. When you get to the airport, find a taxi, they will take you to buy groceries. Then go to the Saigon dock and load up the water taxi. Next, you need cash … they don’t take credit cards. Bring plenty, it’s safe and no fear of theft. The property was clean, and comfortable with the most beautiful views I have ever seen. Go snorkeling, go to Zapatilla Beach. I recommend against the dolphin watching, because the guides are really torchering and scaring the dolphins trying to get them to jump out of the water. Food is delicious everywhere. WiFi is excellent. Water is safe enough for cooking and no problems having ice in your drinks. Overall, for a well travelled guest, this is one of the best places I have ever been.

Unique Experience

An amazing experience! A great place to get away to relax. Ernesto the boat captain and house maintainer was so polite and Poli was wonderful. She ensured that we had a taxi waiting for us when we left and took care of everything. The house is clean and a great way to get away into the woods without being in the woods. There were cute geckos at night and we had no issues with bugs. An absolutely once in a lifetime experience with great views.

Peaceful and relaxing!

Great place to lounge and relax. It's very peaceful and quiet. If you're looking for action it's not the place to go. The coral reef is right there and only one meter deep. You get to see tons of fish and marine life and the coral is actually in very good shape. Lots of color and variety. Paddle boarding and kayaking around the house and in the bay in the back is great. If you don't want to be completely disconnected, they have a good wifi and Netflix. Poly and Lyo are great hosts! We had a wonderful time!

Not for us

Jacob, Poli and Lyo are lovely to work with. Unfortunately this was my family of 3s least favorite party of our vacation. We like to explore and move around and this was much too remote. For someone who wants to get away, read a book, and cook your own meals it would be fine. However, the cousions on the furniture are plastic so it is very hard to get comfortable. Everywhere around the area rains yet this is the only location we experienced the plastic cousions on couches and chairs. Even slip covers would be helpful. Ultimately we used the sheet from one of our beds to cover the inside couch in the day so we didn't stick to it and sat on to of the pillows on the outside couch. The complimentary boat ride to town is a thoughtful touch but is only offered at 11, which is too late to get on any excursions and the complimentary boat ride back to the house is only at 2, which is much too early. Outside of that it is about 75 to pay for a boat ride. There is no access to land. The snorkeling was nice, though it rained a lot.
