Amazing house and location, short drive to town, saw moose multiple time during our stay. Loved the jacuzzi and fire place. 10 out of 10 would come back and stay.

The house was great. It's located in a very nice neighborhood but also less than 10 minutes to downtown Breck. Great hiking trails are nearby. The house was very clean. We enjoyed the fire and hot tub too. Scott was very responsive and helpful. I would stay here again! We even had some nice foxes on the back deck!

Very nice place, good location, accurate description. Could use some basic kitchen supplies like oils, spices, Saran Wrap etc to make it easy for short term guests. Place was clean and everything worked as it should. Would stay again.

Place is great and we really enjoyed staying here for our elopement in the mountains. It's just south of Breckenridge and so it didn't take long to get to the town's activities. It's in a very quiet and secluded area so very nice for that country feel while still being close to the action. Everything was very clean and in working order. Owner was very responsive. There is not an extensive list of cleaning expectations - basically just clean up after yourself. If we're back in the area we'll definitely see if we can rebook. Great location, quiet, and peaceful.

Amazing Colorado Vacation Home!

We stayed in June of 2025 and had a fantastic experience! The house is immaculate and well cared for inside and out! Excellent location between many trailheads and all of the activities within Breckenridge! We have recommended this place to many families considering a trip to the area and we would absolutely stay again! This retreat served as the perfect place to relax and recharge after a day of hiking and activities!Book this place for your next trip to the area! You will not be disappointed!

Magical Mountain Getaway

This home is stunning. The view is truly breathtaking. I booked this for those massive windows (and the hot tub) and the vaulted ceilings and it was worth it. This home was so thoughtfully decorated and felt luxurious. The home was privateand peaceful, tucked away. The owners thought of everything! There's PLENTY of space for family, friends and kids and the property is beautifully decorated. This was my first time using VRBO but Scott made everything effortless. His instructions were extremely thorough and absolutely no hassle. Check out was just as easy! I absolutely plan on staying here again.

Where do I even begin with this nightmare rental? What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend with friends, turned into a stress-filled ordeal.First, let's talk about the "amenities." One of the toilets was completely non-functional for HALF of our stay. Nothing says "luxury vacation rental" like having to explain to your guests which bathroom they can't use. But wait, it gets better – we had NO RUNNING WATER on Friday night. While we were warned that this could be a possibility due to some leak prevention system installed, we were promised quick response by the owner. However, he was MIA vacationing overseas, while we were stuck without running water and had to troubleshoot and fix the problem on our own.Speaking of surprises, be prepared to receive what can only be described as a novella of house rules. THREE PAGES of nitpicky do's and don'ts that read like they were written by someone with serious trust issues. The micromanagement is absolutely suffocating.And here's the real kicker – after dealing with broken toilets and no water, they expect YOU to spend half your departure day deep cleaning their property. I'm talking about a cleaning list so extensive you'll need to block out 4-5 hours minimum. Last I checked, cleaning fees are supposed to cover this, but apparently not here.Save yourself the headache, the stress, and the wasted vacation time – book literally anywhere else. This place is a master class in how NOT to run a vacation rental.

Now the Truth! After arriving Friday afternoon guests wife calls me Friday evening to explain they clogged the toilet and although they tried to use the plunger they could not free it. I assure everyone there was NO “completely nonfunctional or broken toilets” THIS HOME IS PERFECT! I contacted my plumber who was there first thing Saturday morning. Then Friday late night and Iam not sure what the guest was doing to set off the Moen leak detection, which has never happened before but it did safely shut down the water. Unfortunately instead of waiting for me to reset the device which takes 10 seconds, as the guest states he self troubleshoots and unplugged the system, it took almost 2 hours to figure out what he did and get the water back up and running! (YES not unplugging the system is in the instructions he received but No Where Anywhere does it say anything about a guest being responsible for cleaning). After departing I start getting threatening emails and texts from the husband demanding a full refund or a negative review would be forthcoming. Clearly and even as he stated “this was not his first rodeo he’s done this before”. Even after the threats I still agreed to refund 20% of their stay for a toilet they admittedly clogged themselves and water that was off for less then 2 hours from his own failure to follow instructions. That wasn’t good enough for him so here we are with his 1 star review. Iam pretty sure his wife, who was very nice on the phone by the way, wouldn’t agree with his review either. Frustrating when a guest can write whatever they want without recourse and use this in a attempt to extort money from a owner
