We're so happy you enjoyed the beautiful bay view and beach access at Hal's Hideaway! It sounds like it was a truly relaxing stay, and we appreciate you sharing your experience.

Thank you for the kind words! We're so glad the place matched what was advertised and that the stunning views stood out during your stay. It's great to hear any hiccup with the key box was sorted out quickly so you could get right in and enjoy your time.

The snowman I ordered did not come with a remote or a light inside. The Santa and Christmas tree did.

Hi Stephen, we truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts about your recent stay. Your feedback is essential to us, and we've relayed your comments to the homeowner, who would like to address the following: Hal's Hideaway is accurately represented with a variety of carefully selected and detailed photographs to showcase the accommodations as they are. It is not marketed as a 'modern' property, but rather one that offers its unique charm, which many guests have enjoyed during their stay. We always encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing to ensure the property meets their expectations before booking. We strive to ensure an exceptional stay for all our guests and look forward to welcoming many more satisfied guests, as reflected in our numerous 5-star reviews.

Hi Margaret, we're glad you enjoyed the comfy beds and cleanliness of the home! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: Our goal is to ensure that our guests have an exceptional stay with us and provide high standards of hospitality. We are sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests. - As the home is located alongside an inland saltwater area, the property experiences tidal changes every six hours. During high tide, the water can reach the bulkhead, while low tide reveals sandy stretches that can extend up to 150 yards from the shoreline. - We aim for transparency and our listing and photos are accurately advertised. The listing photos reflect both the beach and the guesthouse. Additionally, the second bedroom's description clearly states that it's separate from the main house and is not a shed but rather a guesthouse. We truly do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
