My family of five stayed at RetroBanana for 6 nights and loved every minute of it! The kids had fun with all of the amenities. The house was impeccably clean when we arrived, and well stocked. The bed sheets are so soft, we came home and ordered them for ourselves!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Four of us girls stayed her for a couple days for a girls trip and we LOVED IT. the rooms were so adorable and we loved the decorations everywhere. It was such a comfortable stay, and our host provided so many things for us that we were able to take advantage of. The amenities were amazing, we LOVED the hot tub, and getting to relax in such a cozy living area was so nice too. I cannot wait to be back, this place was wonderful :D

We absolutely loved our stay! From start to finish, everything was smooth and easy. Communication was clear and prompt, and Jennel was wonderful to work with. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and all the thoughtful amenities throughout the house—it truly felt like a home away from home. One of my favorite parts was the minimal and easy checkout process—such a relief compared to other rentals! We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Jennel!

Best VRBO stay ever!

I was traveling with a group of teachers and we needed a place to stay for one night in Denver after our retreat in the mountains. I am so sad we only had one night in the RetroBanana. The house is decorated so fun and the retro vibe reminds me Austin Powers but in a good way! The beds were so comfortable and we loved the hot tub. The host has been great about communication and we especially loved all the tiny details that went in to making our stay so fantastic. The decor and fun in the house is like nothing else. Do yourself a favor and book it… but give yourself more than a day to take it all in!!
Loved this little night stand in one of the bedrooms.
The garage is a game room!
This little area was so fun!
There is a putting green in the backyard.

Perfect stay for a family!

We booked this property because of proximity to the airport and soccer complex. The decor was fantastic and property was accurate to the listing pictures and description. It was super clean and offered so much. We absolutely loved the cowboy hot tub and backyard mini golf. The kids loved having a hangout area in the garage and never wanted to leave. The weather wasn’t ideal during our stay so having these amenities was a life saver. I’m glad there was a pack& play so I didn’t have to bring one and they offered minor beauty/hygiene products like a hotel just in case. The beds and pillows were super comfy! I’m glad they had a charging port with different plugs because I forgot a charger for an electronic. There’s also a park down the street in the neighborhood that was perfect for the kids.The host communicates very well and gave lots of info and responded quickly.

The host was very nice and responded quickly when we had trouble getting in. Maintenance came and showed us "how to get in" but because I had the same lock at home I knew the batteries were going and needed changed so we just left it unlocked. The house is by a busy road and the master bedroom is noisy with road noise. It is not convenient to grocery store, restaurants or train either. The other thing we all agreed on was the house had that banana theme/vibe but in reality not very comfortable. The furniture in living room has that yellow loveset in picture but if a person sat on it would split in middle. Dining room table chairs cheap wobbly plastic. Would be nice to have at least one comfort chair in place. Luggage in all rooms has to go on floor unless you want to put on bed. Beds were comfortable and clean.Kitchen was clean and equipped nicely.Bathrooms were ok but could have been alittle cleaner and more towels. We were their 3 nights and we each got 1 towel for whole stay. The backyard was ok. Dogs with their heads under fence barking, road noise and always wet grass from sprinkler made it not so relaxing.It was as described but reality was not as comfortable as the "vibe".

The guest required frequent assistance during their stay, and I remained responsive throughout, including coordinating maintenance support. After checkout, housekeeping documented damaged items and additional cleaning needs; however, no charges were applied. Future hosts may want to maintain clear communication and documentation to support a smooth stay.
