Our home is located within a community, The Island Club, located on South Bass Island near the village of Put-in-Bay. We offer you a cozy cedar-sided home with three bedrooms, two full baths, large kitchen, living room, and a secluded rear deck. We can accommodate eight guests. The kitchen is complete with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, pots, & pans. The Island Club pool is just a five-minute walk from our home. Guests must provide their own towels & bed linens. Upon arrival, observe the property and if anything is unsatisfactory please contact us immediately (!) so that we may remedy the issue to your satisfaction (216)536-4794.

Great location

This place was perfect for the 8 of us to celebrate 60th birthdays. The back deck close to trees and the location of the house allowed for quiet after dinner and drinks downtown.

Very nice location

The property was in a great location very private. The deck was very nice it had a new grill and outdoor furniture. The inside was very nice. We had everything we needed.

Fun place to visit

Enjoyed our week in Put-in-Bay. Great island vibe. Fun places to eat and have a beverage of choice. Would say to rent a golf cart as parking downtown is much easier than with a car.

Stay at the Bay

We had a great time with alot of space. So glad to be able to cook some meals as well. Loved the deck and location way in the back ... So quiet and peaceful. Wished for shampoo, soap, towels and a dishwasher but still had a great time.

Overall comfortable and efficient. Owner was very accommodating. Even sent us a text alert so we could get our in time when the Ferry was about to close due to a high wind alert.

Property needed to be cleaned much better but property manager, John, could not have been nicer. He made the necessary changes to make our stay more comfortable.

Birthday Bash

Property well located, easy access to town, and mostly a quiet neighborhood. The property is well maintained, but does show its wear. Cleaning under the beds and furniture would help improve the cleanliness. The full mattress might need to be changed, all other mattresses were very comfortable.

Not great not bad

The home itself was exactly what you’d expect. Kind of musty smelling at first. Nothing really fancy but nothing bad. We had a great time and definitely will come back and stay here again in the future! Well worth it.

Everything was fine and met our needs, with one exception: Grill needs maintenance, we could not use it- very little flame output. Thanks for good communication!

Great spot for Bach party, attentive host

Property was as pictured and check in was easy. We had issues with dead animal smell and the property manager was very attentive and resolved the issue prior to our departure, however, the property should not have been rented out as the owner was aware of the various issues at the property. The owner did issue a refund and rectified the situation. The place could use some repair but it is listed at a reasonable price considering.

We were aware of the squirrel issue but did not know the smell would get worse. Though we offered to move you to our other home, next door, we took full responsibility and called out a certified wildlife expert to remedy the situation AND refunded the ENTIRE rental amount. We appreciated your patience and prompt communication in this matter.

First stay at Put In Bay

The property was ok. You get what you pay for. Unit was not very clean; refrigerator full of old food, dirty floors, and used underwear in the dresser from previous occupant. The listing did not prominently outline the lack of towels and linens. That was our mistake but wish that was more clearly outlined. We made the best out of it and enjoyed our stay.

Good location

The house over all needed a good cleaning found some less then desirable items stuffed in the couch and jello shot countainers behind the couch when check to ensure we had all of our belongings. Also crazy bug issue they accumulated all over the sink not sure if they come thru the sky light or what. The island club is a great fun place to stay and the house does have a nice deck off the back although I would imagine mosquitoes would be a slight issue with the woods behind.

We have made many upgrades to our home during the off season as well as completed a thorough spring cleaning. Unfortunately, the bugs come with island life. Would be glad to host you in the future.

DIRTY!!!! Do not book. If you do, do not walk barefooted.

I have rented many homes through VRBO and this was the absolute worst. The house was VERY dirty and that includes everything. The kitchen is not fully stocked. The patio furniture is rusted and covered with bird crap. Grill is nasty. Shower head is falling off. Beds are very uncomfortable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Not only did we not meet your standards but our cleaning crew did not meets OURS either! We shared your comments with them and demanded that they do better! We wish you would have contacted us upon your arrival so we could have sent the cleaners thru again to immediately address your concerns. Additionally, we have taken steps to repair the shower head, replace the grill, and replace the patio furniture.

Disappointed

We've stayed in many VRBOS over the years, and this was the worst we've been in. View from the back deck, a strip of caution tape to alert you to not tread on the neighbors property, apparently. Outdoor furniture rusted to the point on not wanting to sit on it. Smell in one bathroom bad enough to keep the fan on constantly. Skylight over the other bathroom disintegrating to the point of debris falling into the bathtub. It appeared that some attempt was under way to improve things, but certainly the place should not be rented out until things are corrected. Perhaps this property would serve well as a "party house" and perhaps it has been, which is why it's in such bad shape. We did not contact the owner, since there was nothing he could have done to improve things in the two days we stayed there.

Girls weekend

We have rented in these cottages before, but not this one. Everything was as advertised. The owner was very responsive to all our inquiries. Very helpful with golf cart inquiries as well. We’ll be back!!!

Great house!

Came to the island with friends from 4 different states for a weekend of fun. House was great, kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, utensils and pots and pans we needed!

Island Club is the best place to stay in PIB

Fun environment and roomy accomodations. I would suggest 2 things..remove the cabinet over the bar to open up that space and get rid of the glass bar in the living room. Seems like a liability. Over all, thought it was a great place!

Birthday stay

Got there and the window in the bathroom was leaking then we were hanging out and 2 mice ran across the kitchen. The owner was very apologetic and we asked to be moved and he was awesome and got us a nice cabin to stay in. All in all i would go back to one of his cabins with the owner but not that cabin for the price i paid

Nice getaway

Overall the property was very clean. The house could use some updating/maintenance but overall pretty nice. Not to loud but not Erie quite either. We had a really nice time .
