Great Value Daily rental 2 bedroom beach apartment for half the price of condos next door. Perfect for families with kids and pets Ground floor with easy access from the beach just down the block Sleeps 6 maximum with sofa bed. Enjoy quality amenities like, Samsung Smart Stainless Steel appliances, tile floor, decorated like a beach cottage with gray tile floors, and white bead board ceilings and walls. 4 Adirondack chairs right in front overlook Mandalay Ave. Best restaurants and tiki bars just two blocks walk on the beach. Famous Pier 60 just 5 blocks walk. Free Rides go by all day, and Jolley Trolley every 15 minutes. Enjoy Clearwater Beach without a car.

Rental for one night is generally the day before a check in or after a blocked date,

Our cottage

Our stay in our cottage was great and Highly recommend it. It was clean it was inviting great atmosphere staff was helpful I will probably do it again I have already told a few friends.

A perfect home away from home

Perfectly located for walking anywhere in Clearwater Beach. Great for pets, homey, cute and fantastic communication from staff. Instacart deliveries & an equipped kitchen kept us happy for breakfast and lunch. It is not the Ritz but was very clean with fresh linens and plenty of everything you need. Perfect location for beaching with easy walk to dog beach, shopping and food. We will stay here again and you must have coffee & pasteries at Blessed Cup & dinner at Palm Pavillion & Frency's and the Bait House is a must do. Easy, stress free, quiet and homey is the best way to describe our experience. We loved that this proerty was originally from the 20's and how it has been updated to stay beachy and cozy.

Good location with a min walk to beach. Door key didn’t work so we had to keep the property unlocked all the time. Could have been cleaner. Floors were sticky and we saw some spiders. Couch fabric and pillows were old and untidy. There was an oven timer which used to beep intermittently . Bed mattress wasn’t very comfortable .There is plenty of room for improvement .

Dear Kriti Shreshtha; Glad you found the rental with a minute walk to the beach with a good location. Had you simply read the Hospitality section on your booking site or read the welcome book in the rental you would have noticed the first sentence say if you want any more cleaning or need anything text property manager. In minutes you would have had a new key, and house keeper would have re moped the floors for you. I am quiet sure being a Hotelier for more than 15 years, if this was really a 2 star property you would have walked out and not stayed or at least contacted the manager. I also speak many languages for our international guests. For future guests, if anything is not right upon check in simply text the manager who will address any issues. We also leave extra sheets, linens and towels in plastic bags in all our units. Guests satisfaction is our highest priority. Why wait until after you check out to let the manager know. Great Location but Property needs some work

This location was wonderful. We were truly within steps of the water and just a short walk to the downtown restaurants/shopping. The bathroom and bedrooms were in good condition. However, starting with the entrance area and into the kitchen area, it was as if they had never been cleaned. The glass front door was totally missing it's shade and the door near the lock/knob was filthy. The stove, microwave and fridge had leftover grease, fingerprints and food from some previous renter. We did clean the outside of the fridge because we had to use it but couldn't quite bring ourselves to cleaning anything else. However, even the fridge was not as shown in the photos for this unit (advertised as Samsung, actually a Maytag) and it was not even keeping anything cold (there was no way for us to change the temp settings). The ice maker DID work! Since we were not going to cook anything during this stay, we decided NOT to contact the property manager to remedy the cleanliness issues during our short stay. We also heard the owner of the property was away so perhaps there wasn't anyone around to check the cleanliness of our unit prior to our arrival. It just looked as though the staff made sure we had clean linens and a clean bathroom and that was the extent of their prep. This is very surprising especially since most properties pride themselves on their cleaning regimens during these days of COVID. In defense of this property, their COVID regimens were never advertised so shame on us for not checking prior to renting. We actually had to sweep the entire unit before we unloaded the car due to the amount of sand and other food debris on the floors. We did leave the sand-covered door mat located outside our unit which remained covered with sand during our entire stay. Clean things up a bit and this could be a very nice unit.

Dear Donald: Glad you hear you enjoyed being so close to the beach literally steps to the sand and close to all the great restaurants. Glad you found the house keeper did a good job of cleaning the bathrooms and you enjoyed the clean and I might add new linens on the beds. Sorry you had issues with the fact that you had a big new Maytag Stainless Steel refrigerator with good ice maker, NEW NEW NEW to replace the old Samsung. You said you never cooked but complained about the finger prints on the stove, If you read the welcome package the first line says if you want any more cleaning or sand blew in call the manager who will send a house keeper over. Yep you could have called and even though I was visiting my 90 ;year old mom in New Jersey a cheerful housekeeper would have come over and cleaned to your hearts content. The listing is clear that this rental is not for picky fussy demanding guests. I am sorry you have all kinds of issues about cleanliness although we do have a strict cleaning protocol as I am well over 65 and we care about our guests and staff. Your Linens were cleaned at high temperature by a professional linen service. It is unfortunate that you had issues with the mat in front of the house which did have sand in it. Guess what All the mats in front of all the cottages have sand because they are very good at catching sand and when your so close to the beach sand blows everyday onto the sidewalks and we blow the sand three times a day. Great location great property!

We stayed first week of May and it was a fabulous experience! Literally steps from the beach. The cottage was clean and comfortable for our family of four. The kids loved that they could watch free movies before bed time. Having a dedicated parking spot was also a HUGE plus as there is limited parking at the beach. They also had lots of beach toys for the kids, umbrellas, and even beach chairs they let the guests use! We will definitely stay here again!

Electrical Issues & Leaks

Pros: 100ft from nice beach. Blocks away from all the Clearwater Beach restaurants and stores. Challenges: We agreed via the VRBO messaging portal that we'd tack on 2 additional days to the front end of our stay. The night before our family of 5, including 2 young children, was set to arrive, we got a message from the owner saying there was a bookkeeping issue and those 2 day were no longer available. This meant we had to find a new place to stay in less than 24 hours, which unsurprisingly required us to spend more than we had intended. During our 5 day stay, we had electrical issues the majority of the days. Owner suggested, "updated electrical, including outlets," but one will be quick to notice that many of the plugs do not work, are damaged, or relying upon extension cords. The power went out more times than we could count. Owner blamed it on weather, but the outages/surges continued for days after the rain and no other place around us had power out when we did. This resulted in most nights' sleep being disrupted due to outages. In addition, during a period of heavy rain, the leaking was so bad it was pouring through the window by the couch, dripping over the sink, and water puddled at the main entrance. We are a family that knew we signed up for rustic, but this felt beyond rustic to a point of unsafe. We did not feel the owner adequately addressed or owned up to the issues nor did they seem to care much about leaving us high and dry the first 2 nights. Clearwater Beach was wonderful. This unit is not one we'd recommend unless significant attention is given to the electrical and leakage issues. Speaking frankly, I'm shocked some kind of reimbursement was not offered based on what we experienced.

Dear Julia: We are indeed sorry for the issues. There was a bad storm with heavy rain and when we called Duke Energy we were told the issue was power outages. There were several calls to them with the same answer. Finally an electrician determined the outside breaker box was damaged due to the power surges and we would have had it repaired sooner if not for the incorrect info from Duke Energy. Great location!!! Good communication with property manager and staff. In the description of the property, it does state to not expect a large fancy two bedroom condo. We would agree this is not a fancy condo, but it worked for our family. There were a few minor details that could be updated such as new outlets. Not all of the outlets worked. Overall could just be refreshed.

Great location, great access to beach toys, chairs, etc. Courtyard not as big as we thought, no direct access to it and the hot tub could use some updating but good option with cruddy weather one day. Staff was nice and attentive.

Amazing!!

This rental was amazing! The host were friendly and super accommodating. The cottage was clean and felt like home. The area was a super close walk to the beach, shops and restaurants! We will definitely stay here again!!!

Convenient to the Beach

Roomy well air-conditioned (important in August) apartment convenient to the beach and happenings in Clearwater Beach.

Perfect location

My kids and I stayed here and it was perfect. The location was perfect and our condo was so cute and was wonderful. We had everything we needed and was walking distance to many restaurants and very close to the beach and pool. Captain Al and the housekeeper (I apologize I can’t remember her name) were very friendly and accommodating. When we come back to Clearwater, this will be the only place we will stay!

Capt.Al is the reservation agent and property manager for this property and others in Clearwater Beach. Originally from New Jersey, and remember enjoying my youth at the Jersey Shore, I always wanted to live in Florida. Now a local in Clearwater Beach, it will be may pleasure to show you around, take you to the best Tiki Bars, and maybe out on the boat. Here we all enjoy a great beach lifestyle with warm water, congenial neighbors, great seafood, and vibrant local beach flavor.

While most older hotels have been torn down for the new expensive high rise hotels, the owners of these last few blocks beach side decided to renovate and turn the beach cottages and beach houses into vacation rentals. Here you feel like times gone by where neighbors sit on the porch, have a drink, invite you over, and you can walk around and enjoy this historic neighborhood.

Just a stumble to the beach, tiki bars, resturants on the beach, and no streets to cross.. Avoid the traffic and congestion in the new modern south beach. Yet only 5 blocks walk to Pier 60 and the Marina district.
Step out of your newly remodeled beach apartment and experience the beach like a local, not a hotel tourist.

Enjoy a designer kitchen with state of art appliances and save a ton no taking the kids out to eat 3 times a day. and hey, a full size fridge for the beer.
