Our property is a working farm and barn stay, so horses and other animals are part of life here year-round — the animals are shown throughout our listing photos, and we also let guests know in our check-in message that we have dogs on the property. Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We are so sorry. This was completely our mistake, and unfortunately, human error does happen every once in a while. We accidentally sent you the check-in instructions for the Pink Hayloft instead of the Chicken Coop that you had reserved. After a long day of travel and being stuck in freeway traffic, the last thing you should have had to deal with was climbing stairs, especially knowing the leg challenges you both have. We completely understand why that was frustrating and disappointing, and we're truly sorry. We're so glad you enjoyed the farm and found the space clean and cozy, but we also understand that doesn't make up for not receiving the accommodations you booked. As our way of making things right, we'd love to offer you 50% off your next stay with us.
