NICE & COZY VACATION PROPERTY

The house itself is a bungalow duplex that has two completely self-contained units.
This unit has a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary accessories (microwave, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans etc.); lovely and cozy family room with a soft couch, armchairs and TV with entertainment channels. There is a wireless high speed internet connect everywhere in the unit.
There are one bedrooms with a queen size bed and den that has 1 daybed(2 twin beds, one bed pulls out from under another). The unit has 1 washroom with shower and 1 powder room. Outside patio with dining table and sunbed. The garden has beautiful fruit trees.
You will have your private unit access, parking spot and backyard space.
We have an extra window conditioner in the bedroom with remote control and ceiling fans for additional and faster cooling (if central a/c not enough). There is no thermostat in this unit for central air. Electric fireplace is for you for cozy winter evenings and warm up the house very quickly, if you need it.
This unit has all you need for your perfect vacation in Florida. In case you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Note: most likely I won't be present at the house when you arrive but I will provide you with all instructions, you shouldn't be worried.

This place is indeed very cozy, quiet and a nice place to relax. The location is very convenient. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was quite clean and had all the necessities we required. We would certainly stay there again.

There were a lot of extra rules / requirements and limited parking not disclosed up front. Also no pictures provided of the outside of the rental or surrounding neighborhood that would have altered my choice in rental.

We had a wonderful time. The home was very clean and comfortable. All instructions were well written and easy to follow. There was plenty of room for the two of us and the two bathrooms were very handy! We enjoyed sitting in the backyard, enjoying our coffee and the warm morning sun. We would definitely stay again.

Clean and convenient

There aren’t many choices for staying in North Port. With 4 sleep options, 2 toilets and a nice shower, this beats the new overpriced hotel for a family. Would stay again.

Home away from home

The owner was so VERY kind! The unit was clean and wonderfully decorated. This owner thought of everything so we didn’t have to. A great place to stay, and a thoughtful and sweet owner!

North Port FL vacation spring 2024

Outstanding property We are couple after 50 spent 10 days in North Port Florida. Rented very nice suite with truly cozy very clean environment , staffed with absolutely everything you need for comfort home like living style . Marina is so friendly host . She responds immediate with every matters and questions we had as well she provides information about local attractions and places we might interested.So after all would say it worth the money we spent .

Just right

The property was just right for a short stay with two adults. It is small but comfortable. Also, very clean! The neighborhood is so-so but it is very close to everything in North Port…very convenient location! The downside was that it is a small twin home so someone lives on the other side and we could always smell his cooking. Also, there is no thermostat in the side we stayed on, so whatever temp the guy in the other side set it at is what we got. Could also use a new coffee maker and a bigger kitchen trash can. The shower was very nice, and we appreciated being able to use all the beach gear that was available. Overall, it was a great stay! Thank you Marina!

Very pleasant experience overall

The property was very comfortable once we could get in. The property owner does not answer the phone, their phone doesnt accept phone calls. It took a bit to get in because the door has 2 number pads, I didnt see the correct one, but it got frustrating when the "contact number" listed for the owner doesnt accept phone calls. The yard also had very high grass, so my 4 and 7 year old could not ue the yard at all. Also, the strategy for the washer seems to be designed to not let people use it. running and connecting water lines across the bathroom to use the washer, we didnt bother with it, just took all our dirty clothes home with us to wash. Getting past this, it was a great experiance. The inside was very comdortable, nice and clean. The area was very quiet, lots of cool things very close to do as a famiy. I should also mention that they threaten to charge $30 if you dont take out the trash to the curb on Wed? Whats up with that? Were it not for these things, this would have been a fantastic experience. Not a perfect experience but it was well worth the price overall.

Thank you for your review. I am glad that your overall stay was enjoyable. We always do our best and work with our guests to address any issues. I'm sorry that a few minor concerns disappointed you. The all instruction for the house entry, garbage collection and washer connection was provided you before check in. I am available most of the time to help my guest with any questions or concerns, but unfortunately you never contact me during your stay and no messages were left. Also I would like to mentioned that we do not charge $30.00 if you don’t take out the trash to the curb, those charges apply only if you do not sort the garbage, recycle and cardboard but put it in the same container and city do not pick it up.

Comfortable & Pleasant Get-Away

The unit was clean and had plenty of hot water. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, flatware, and cooking pans. There were no storage containers for leftovers, but there was plastic wrap, so I put them in bowls and covered them with the plastic wrap. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable. The host was extremely responsive. The pleasant living and kitchen space with plenty of beautiful morning sunshine made this the get-away I was looking for. Sleeps 4 but be sure the 3rd and 4th person are comfortable sleeping in a room that has the front door (entry into the unit) in it. There were some minor maintenance and exterior cosmetic issues, but I have to wonder how much is related to hurricane Ian in the fall as the whole area is still doing clean up and repairs after that storm. Tips on using the electric fireplace: There are 3 toggle switches at the front base of the fireplace behind a grill. The one on the far left is used to turn on the flickering flames. Of the two on the far right, which are used to turn on the heat, use the one on the left, which is for 750w (the furthest right switch is halfway behind the side of the grill – don't use that one – it's for 1500w). There are also two dials: the one on the far left under the toggle switch is used as a thermostat-turn it to the right to increase the heat; the one under the toggle switches on the far right is used to dim or brighten the flickering flames. Tips on the recycling – do a web search for North Port Recycling to find the .gov site that tells you which items this community recycles and the calendar for which bins to use which weeks.

Small gem

This property was as described. My husband and I stayed here for 10 days and could have easily accommodated at least 2 more people. Quiet neighborhood and very responsive owner about miscellaneous concerns.

Cozy

The house was cute, cozy and just big enough for what my family needed just as it was all listed. The neighborhood was quiet. The only problem we had was the washer was broken, but a quick phone call and she gave us another property to do laundry. The dryer didn't dry well at the property we stayed at. The location of the property is perfect. We would definitely stay there again.
