This villa is located literally on top of the seventeenth green on Turtle Point and is only seconds from the beach and The Sanctuary Hotel. FYI - the WiFi has been upgraded. The villa has Maple Hardwood floors, hard surface countertops, 42 inch Plasma TV, high speed internet. The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed and adjacent full bathroom while the second bedroom has two twin beds and an adjacent full bathroom. Our villa is a part of the Kiawah Island Resort program which means you will be treated as a guest of the resort giving you access to the Night Heron Pool and Tennis Club Pool. You can also enjoy discounted Greens Fees and all five of Kiawah's Championship Golf Courses, including The Ocean Course. You will also have preferred access for Reservations to the Resort Restaurants, including The Ocean Room and Jasmine Porch located at The Sanctuary as well as the Spa at The Sanctuary.

Simply a wonderful stay

Absolutely a wonderful property in an ideal location to explore the island. Easy access to the beach, and our children loved being able to spend hours and hours at the pool. We highly recommend this property to others.

Great location and unit but needs TLC

While overall we enjoyed our stay at Kiawah (despite several amenities that weren't available due to COVID-19 that we weren't fully informed on, to include the Night Heron gym which I personally asked the owner about prior to booking), our unit was not up to our usual Kiawah expectations. When we walked in the door, there was a caterpillar and cockroach in view in the kitchen area. We saw many more throughout our stay. There is a clear mold problem in the kitchen and it needs to be remediated/gutted. The coasters on the porch were covered in mold (which we discovered after my three year old was playing with them). Most of our clothes, cleaned in the washer/dryer at the unit, smell like mold after coming home. The washer/dryer were outdoors, which was also strange, and they were old and full of sand. At the nightly rate we paid, one would also expect fitted sheets on the bed and hand towels. We got three washcloths and no hand towels, plus cheap flat sheets that did not stay on the beds. The owner did share with us how to get more towels, but providing proper and adequate linens from the get-go should be standard procedure for all guests. The unit is in a great location and really is charming. However, it is in dire need of updates and treatment so that guests can receive the full Kiawah resort experience.

Thank you for the information. These are things we need to know. The Resort maintains our Villa. The linens are the same they use in all units. I believe they are challenged in the current environment with cleaning personnel and the additional procedures that have been implemented. No excuse, just the reality of the situation. We're out there this week and will address as many of these issues as possible.

Great location!

We vacation in Kiawah every year. This condo was a perfect location for our family - two adults and three little children. The screened in porch and deck were lovely, and we enjoyed being able to use the resort amenities - especially the kids pools. It’s a 6 min walk to the beach, 3 min bike ride (with kids in tow). Would definitely rent again!

Great Kiawah Vacation Spot!

Very clean and comfortable villa!. Great access to the beach and all of the pools and other great places on Kiawah. The view of the 17th green of Turtle Point was fabulous! Many great memories were made by our family!

Wonderful stay!

We spent 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend and it was perfect... the villa was nicer than the photos show... really relaxing outdoor space (with nice shade in the pm), a short walk to the beach, Sanctuary, and the Turtle Point clubhouse. It was a short drive to the Night Heron pools, which were a big hit for our son. The villa was well appointed and comfy for my husband, toddler and me! We'll be back!

This home was wonderful and had everything we needed.

Despite some beach erosion and boardwalk damage we had a wonderful vacation at Kiawah. The walk to the beach was a little longer than three minutes though. I guess thats the way hurricane Irma planned it this year.

We had a wonderful stay at this inviting beach home. It could not have been more perfectly furnished or equippped. We ate-in almost every meal given how lovely it was and how well equipped the kitchen was. Even the bountiful dishes were in beach hues. The screened in porch was lovely. The porch overlooking the golf course just as lovely. It was so comfortably furnished that you cannot help but relax. 5 minutes walk to the beach. We cannot wait to rent it again.

Perfectly relaxing!

Great condo - nicely decorated & comfortable, very convenient to the beach. We had a wonderful vacation & would come back to this condo again. We've already recommended it to friends who want to visit Kiawah. My only suggestion would be to leave a note about the location of the washer/dryer - we didn't find it until we were packing up to leave. It's in a closet off the deck.

My family enjoyed the villa and location. Beautifully decorated and well thought out for the vacationer. This is the perfect location for enjoying the beach and biking over to the Night Heron Park for family activities and pools. Compared to other villas in the same development this is one of the best in terms of condition, decor and location. Owner very helpful with questions.

Beautiful inside and out!

This was our first visit to Kiawah and everything exceeded our expectations - including this beautiful villa! The home is decorated beautifully in bright, coordinating colors and lovely furniture - it is spacious with a great flow for both family time and entertaining. We enjoyed the unique touches of original artwork as well as the gorgeous view onto the golf course. Although the weather could have been warmer and drier, we never felt gray or dreary in our cheerful and welcoming villa. It is a short walk to the beach and an even shorter bike ride, as well as convenient to everything we wanted to do on the island (pool, Night heron park, resort market, etc.) The villa's kitchen was well stocked with the necessary implements and we enjoyed sitting in the great screened porch for our meals. We can't wait to go back next year!

GREAT WEEKEND GET AWAY (GOLFERS WOULD LOVE)

The 2 bedroom condo was exactly as advertised; it was a very comfortable, great layout, clean, and well-maintained. We felt at home!! We were down for a short weekend and this place met all of our requirements for a wonderful weekend. The owner was very accommodating, many owners want let you rent for only one night which was all we needed for this weekend. We do not play much golf but this would be a "paradise" for golfers!! Look forward for a return trip.

An ideal base for enjoying everything Kiawah has to offer

Just as advertised, this is a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained two-bedroom property a short walk from the beach and with complementary access to Kiawah's excellent pools. The property is very kid-friendly, as is the entire island. Highly recommended.

Great location, great set-up with everything we needed. Master bathroom faucet was broken as was the guest. Otherwise everything was in perfect working order. Very clean and well taken care of. I left an item on the door of the master bedroom and am wondering how I can get it back (pink bathrobe).

These are the sorts of things we need to know. The faucets have been fixed as well as a new more quiet fan motor in one bathroom and a light in the hall. I called housekeeping right away about the left item and was told nothing had been found. Guests can always let us know or call the Resort to inquire about lost or left items. It's probably best to call the Resort because they do the post stay cleaning of the villa and we may be away and unable to check personally. Kind Regards Worth Ketchem
