Comfy Home in the Adirondacks, close to Gore Mnt, hiking & snowmoble trails

The home has an open floor plan with a full working kitchen, large dining area and comfortable living room with wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware.
There are 2 full bathrooms, one with a full-tub/shower and the other with a shower.
Bedroom 1, the master bedroom, has a queen size bed, and bathroom.
Bedroom 2 has a queen and a twin size bed. Both bedrooms are spacious and have closets.
The loft area has 3 twin beds.
There is also a mud room with washer and dryer.
Home has phone, internet and DISH TV
Linens are provided but please bring your own beach towels for outdoor use.
Our home is located on a private road minutes from the center of town with private
access to the Cedar River and on-site nature trail. In the warmer months, perfect for an easy walk from your door to the soothing sounds of the cascading river water. In the Winter, right on the Indian Lake snowmobile trail with easy access to Blue Mountain Lake, Speculator, Long Lake and the Moose River Plains trail system. Skiing at Gore Mountain is only 20 minutes away. Indian Lake also has its own ski hill and ice skating rink to enjoy.
Spring season begins with whitewater rafting down the Hudson River, launching right
from Indian Lake. The area offers endless outdoor fun but also is centrally located for exploring all the area has to offer ā€“ museums, movie theater, shopping, restaurants, water parks, golf, leaf-peeping and scenic drives in the fall...
The town of Indian Lake offers a full calendar of activities and events for all seasons. Please check out the Indian Lake website to see what the town has planned for the year.

Great cabin. Clean comfortable well maintained and it was very easy to communicate with the owner. We were thankful for the wood for the fireplace as the temps were in the single digits. Looking forward to coming back.

We had a great visit! There is beautiful natural light from the windows. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the design of the fireplace and the photos of wildlife in the living room. We hope to come back when we have more time to explore the area. We enjoyed Chef Darrell's Diner in Blue Mountain Lake. there is outdoor and indoor seating.We really appreciated being able to bring our dog, thank you!

Great location, quiet, clean. Short walk to Cedar River on a maintained trail leads to mowed area next to the river which is a great spot to hang out. Would definitely stay again.

Tucked away on a private road, but close to the village of Indian Lake with hiking and paddling nearby. The house was roomy, clean, and welcoming. The host was very accommodating and helped with any questions. He even gave us tips on hiking with our pups. We absolutely loved it!!

Weekend getaway in the mountains.

This was our 4th time staying here hope to continue the tradition next year. It is the perfect balance of seclusion but also in close proximity to all the ADK park has to offer. The host is responsive, the cabin is warm, inviting, cozy and really makes you feel like you are alone in the woods!

Lovely stay

We very much enjoyed the relaxation this cozy cabin offers. From watching deer just yards from the back window as we drank our morning coffee, to playing checkers on the game table with a fire going- it was the perfect respite.

Perfect family getaway

Cozy Cabin

We had a very enjoyable stay and it was the perfect place for our family to visit and enjoy the days before Christmas together. We were able to enjoy a cozy fire, the water pressure was amazing, the open floor plan was very nice! We all slept very well in comfy beds with soft sheets! We would definitely come back to this cabin again!!

Beautiful cabin with so much to do in the area!

Me and my family had so much fun staying at your rental. The house was beautiful and really enjoyed taking advantage of all of the activities in the area. We took advantage of the trail down the road and the beautiful scenic area set up. We would love to stay again in the future.

Welcome to our labor of love in the Adirondacks! Indian Lake is a special place for me as I have great memories of all the fun we had as kids on our Summer vacations in Indian Lake. I never thought I would return years later and be able to build my own place- it truly was and is a labor of love.

Each season brings a new adventure: whitewater rafting, kayaking, boating, hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, ice-skating ā€“ your choice of outdoor activities is endless. The area offers all kinds of activities and attractions for all seasons.
The simple pleasure of enjoying a cup of coffee on the front porch as the sun rises over the tops of the pine trees, to me that is always a perfect way to begin my Adirondack
