Dear Future VRBO guest and VRBO host: This review is misleading and does not accurately reflect the events that occurred. The reservation was impacted by an unexpected issue that was completely outside of our control. Our team attempted to contact the guest multiple times well before check-in to discuss the situation and possible solutions, but unfortunately did not receive a timely response. The reservation was therefore not cancelled “5 minutes after check-in” as claimed. In addition, the guest’s statement regarding not receiving a refund is false. The refund was processed in full promptly after the cancellation. Most importantly, this guest never stayed at the property, never checked in, and never experienced the home or our accommodations. As such, this review is not based on an actual stay and does not represent the quality, cleanliness, or service that the vast majority of our guests experience.

Dear future VRBO guest, We are disappointed to hear that this guest felt dissatisfied with their experience. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected emergency city water main repair, the original property became temporarily unavailable on the day of arrival. To avoid canceling the reservation entirely, our team worked quickly to relocate the guest to another available home so their trip could continue without interruption. The guest’s claims regarding cleanliness and property conditions were reported without providing any supporting evidence, despite our team requesting photos and additional information multiple times during the stay. No documentation or proof was ever provided. We took video and time stamped photos showing a clean home to which the guest stopped complaining of cleanliness. Additionally, the guest referenced a package delivery issue; however, our team was not informed of any expected delivery until the day before departure. The package in question was delivered to the original property address one full day after the guest had already checked out. Our staff also made efforts to personally address concerns the evening of arrival and traveled to the property to assist, but the guest declined to answer the door despite knowing our team was on the way. We strive to provide excellent service and prompt communication to all guests, especially during unexpected situations outside of our control, and we regret that our efforts were not acknowledged in this review.
