The resort retreat of a lifetime awaits at this 3-bedroom, 2-bath Rothbury vacation rental! Your rustic cabin is nestled in the heart of the Double JJ Resort, where action and adventure are just around the corner. When you aren’t exploring the indoor waterpark, tubing hill, or rodeo, head out to beaches and sand dunes in the area! The cabin invites 10 guests to cozy up on the front porch, beside the fireplace, or in the jacuzzi tub, before gearing up for another exciting day on the ranch! Heads up, we are a privately owned cabin within the resort running on a community well, so there is an odor. Have no fear! We upkeep and treat with water softener, but it is something that we aren’t able to completely eradicate.

The cabin was very nicely furnished and we had everything we needed and more in the kitchen. We were there for a family reunion of over 100 individuals and I got to visit many of the cabins and I would say that ours was the nicest.

Great place and location. Nice cabin with a fun loft for the kids. Only thing missing is a personal firepit. There is one there but it is small and shared with the other cabins, which was not an issue for us but if it was busier it could have been.

Great place for the family!

The resort was amazing, lots to do! Very homey feel with space for the kids, right next to the basketball court, outdoor waterpark, kids play area, just so much. Everything you need to make a homemade meal. We will be back!

Beautiful cabin, perfect for our needs. A little difficult to find on GPS, and minor misinformation with how to access the property- but received immediate assistance from host that solved the issues. Would have liked to have our own fire pit, but that also was just a minor thing. Biggest issue - we had 7 adults and there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper so we obviously had to go purchase that - again, not a major concern. Everything else was fantastic!

Great stay

A great place to stay, close to a lot of fun activities to do with a young family. The water was our only issue, however we knew that before going, we appreciate that. We would stay again.

Family getaway

This cabin was perfect for our family’s getaway. It was clean, spacious and close to the pool and playground. The amenities were perfect and our children loved the loft area! We will definitely be staying here in the future!

Great weekend

A very nice cabin licatwd in a perfect area. It was a 5 min ride to Lewis adventure zoo/park and a few min to the main lodge. The playgroud behind the cabin was bwry nice. If you plan o. Cookng often bri g extra frying pans for convenience. Thank you for a wonderful weekend experience

Clean and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay, beautiful setting in a wooded area, walking distance to horseback riding, easy five min drive to the water pArk. Home was clean and comfortable, well appointed with plenty of dishes. Could use a few more pots/baking sheets that are in better condition but we managed. Thanks again for a great stay!

Short stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay, well water smells horrible, but it works. My mom wanted a fly swatter but none was found and the clicker to TV need replaced, but all in all I'm perfectly happy with the booking.

Very relaxing cabin experience

This property was exactly what we needed and were hoping for, for our trip. It was clean and the location was amazing. Two things could’ve been useful however, a fly swatter and a broom! 😊 Other than that, no complaints!

We loved the cabin. If I had to make a couple suggestions, have a a broom available and due something about the sulfur smell in the water. It was strong to the point it made us nauseous.

Rebecca, we have had the smell of the water mentioned before. With well water there is always a distinctive smell but we do and will continue to use water softener to help with the smell. We are glad you enjoyed the cabin and will make a note to have a indoor broom available to guests. Thank you for your review!

Great location

The stay was amazing. Owner really nice. The only issue with check in was I did not get last msg because I was in route and had no connection/internet. The loft upstairs is amazing. Please run the water first. It is well water.

We are very happy you enjoyed our home! We’ve updated our information to send out checkin info just a little earlier as we’ve noticed the internet in the area is an issue. We do our best to keep up the softener for our water, but you are right. With it being well after, there is always that hint of a smell. We hope you can come and enjoy our home again in the future!

Great fall getaway

We had a beautiful weekend at the cabin. It was a perfect fit for our group. Kids all slept in the loft and loved hanging out up there! The property was beautiful and quiet. The cabin is a great location for walking to the playground area as well. I would only say to update the listing that the bed in second room is not a queen, definitely just a double.

Phenomenal Cabin!!!! Loved every minute of our stay there

The cabin was incredible clean, beautiful furnishings, very spacious, great location! My teen son took the upstairs and I took the master with the master bath! We loved waking up and having coffee on the porch! This cabin looked like the best cabin out of all of them. It was so nice being on a resort with amenities like a great restaurant overlooking their golf course, horseback riding!!! We loved our cabin and just wish we had more time we would love to come with more people next time after seeing how huge the cabin was.

A hit with all

Perfect size for what we needed. The community setup was not what we expected but worked out. The cable/satellite was non existent. Plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. We would go back.

After an afternoon of shredding it up on wheels, sit back with your feet in the sand and dive into Lake Michigan right off Silver Lake State Park’s beach-lined shore.
