Perdido Key is the perfect quiet and family-friendly beach town. It offers wildlife viewing at the beautiful Johnson Beach National Seashore state park, as well as multiple hiking trails and historic landmarks nearby. The Naval Aviation Museum, home to the world renowned Blue Angels, offers free admission and is less than 10 miles from Lost Key. There are so many local adventures to choose from such as fishing charters to take you to the best spots only locals know about, and don't forget to try one of the Dolphin cruises to experience the open water in a way you will most certainly never forget. There's also Lost Key Golf Club, a public 18-hole Arnold Palmer golf course. Let's not forget the local flavors to be enjoyed at the many restaurants serving our freshly caught seafood.

Policies:
1. Check-in is 4pm | Check-out is 10am.
2. No Smoking in home or on balcony.
3. Pets are not allowed.
4. Loud parties or gatherings will not be tolerated.
5. Must be at least 25 years old to rent. For groups of Single Adults, all guests in the group must be at least 25 years of age and proof of age will be required before approving the reservation.
6. Please Note: Exterior security cameras are present and in place at the front and back of the home for added safety monitoring. Rest assured, your privacy is paramount, and no cameras are installed inside the living areas.

Amazing Getaway

Our group of 4 ladies had a perfect week vacation. Upon entering the house we were impressed with the beautiful furnishings, the appliances, the screened in porch and a view of the gulf. The area provides many excellent restaurants, activities and entertainment.

Fantastic Stay

Our stay at Sandy Feet Retreat was fantastic! The condo was incredibly spacious, giving our family plenty of room to relax while still providing a cozy main floor for quality time together. The facilities were top-notch and a part of our daily routine. We were lucky to have great weather, allowing us to make the most of the beautiful beach just a short distance away. Plus, the area offered plenty of dining options, making it easy to enjoy a variety of delicious meals. The property manager was prompt with any needs and the gated community does a great job of keeping the grounds clean. We would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic

Perdido Key has a beautiful beach and is a quaint peaceful area. The townhouse was clean, updated & had everything we needed. Lost Key has many amenities. Booking was easy. Will be coming back.

4th of July

We loved the location, close to several local restaurants and the beach was right across the street. The kids liked that they could ride the provided bikes throughout the neighborhood and to the pool and fitness center. The townhouse itself was clean and well furnished and had a great view of the ocean from the screened in porch. Will definitely come back and highly recommend.

Great place!

Had a great time in Perdido Key. Accomodations exceeded everything we were looking for in a vacation rental. View of the Gulf from the deck and Gulf fronting bedrooms. Very clean, very well furnished. Had all appliances and utensils we needed for dining in. Very well located for excellent restaurants and nighttime entertainment. Amenties were outstanding. Utilized golf course, pickleball courts, and pool. Beach club was awesome! Bar, restaurant, and pool at the beach as well as chairs and umbrellas for lounging on the Gulf. Highly recommended and would book here again.

A Hidden Treasure!

Perdido Key and this condo are absolutely hidden gems! It's clear that the owners put a lot of time and effort into making it a true home away from home. The fully equipped kitchen and remote work friendly desk were our favorites :) There are tons of private amenities within the community (private restaurant, pool, golf, gym, etc.) and just as many adventures nearby, with discounts provided. The beach has stunning sand and isn't overcrowded so you can soak up the sunshine in peace. At the same time, it's 10 minutes from more active areas like Orange Beach. Overall, this is the best of both worlds. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back!

Finding hidden treasure at Lost Key

My family has stayed in the Orange Beach / Perdido Key area for over 20 years and this subdivision of townhomes was recently built within the last 5 years. This unit had a screened-in porch that faced the beach, was well-appointed, and had numerous additional amenities such as beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, a beach wagon, etc. Although this location didn't have an indoor pool, sauna, or water slides, it did have a community pool with a fantastic fitness center and a beach club on the Gulf. The beach club had a member-only restaurant, cocktail pool, and outdoor furniture and guests had free access to beach umbrellas and beach loungers. By renting the Sandy Feet Retreat in Lost Key, we had complete access to all that I mentioned. I highly recommend this location!

Very Cute Place & Area

We loved the location; it was easy to get to the beach and close enough to bigger towns for different restaurants. The property manager did try to contact me, and my phone did not tell me I had a voicemail until 3 days after we got home from the trip, so I did not have much contact with her, but she did make sure that her number was listed in case she was needed. I gave cleanliness a four star because the floors on the main floor were a little dirty, I had my one-year-old with me and the first day we got there I noticed his feet were brown from dirt (we had been in the car all day and did not go anywhere the night we had arrived). We just made sure to shower every night before going to bed, so we did not track dirt in the beds or anything. There was plenty of room and everything was super nice. The only other thing that I would say is that it does state they get you through the first 24 hours on things, but I don't know why, we did not think that meant toilet paper as well... We had to run out and get toilet paper for the house. We just figured since it was being rented out that would be the thing that there would be extra of. We understood dish soap, dishwasher detergent, or even paper towels. Overall, it was a good place to stay!

Great condo with lots of extras

Sandy Feet Retreat was a very pleasant stay for our party of 4. The condo has a spacious living area and nice size bedrooms upstairs. Check in was easy and everything was very neat and clean upon arrival. The condo is decorated very nicely and has the perfect amount of furniture and everything that we need to make us comfortable. There were a lot of starter “supplies” like soaps, trash bags etc set out for us. The gated community was very welcoming and had some nice extras to use during our stay. The fitness center was very nice and clean with all the equipment that we needed to get a quick workout. When we ventured down to the beach, the beach house was great since it has bathrooms close by and places to hang out and watch the waves. The cafe/bar in the beach house had live music and food specials for Cinco De Mayo. We ate with an ocean view. Also, beach chairs and umbrellas were set up for our use on the beach. The shuttle was easy and convenient when we decided to use it. We found plenty of things to do when we ventured out. Johnson Beach is a quick bike ride or drive away. It’s beautiful with soft sand and for more privacy on the beach. We spent time at Orange Beach on a dolphin cruise (1 adult free with this condo) and dining/shopping. Pensacola is about a 45-50 minute drive. We spent time shopping downtown and went to the Saturday market. Another highlight was watching the Blue Angels practice from the Target parking lot. We enjoyed our stay and the quiet community that this condo resides in. I am sure that we will be back again!

Parking is more of a problem than it should be.

The condo was furnished nicely, but the thermostats were limited to only cool to 70. The upstairs was muggy and warm, so we had to purchase fans for each bedroom as even the ceiling fan did not help enough. The trash dumpster was not empty the day we arrived, so even though it was emptied on Wednesday, we had to store all our trash in the garage until we could put it in the dumpster. Which led to the dumpster being completely full on the day of our departure. The free fun options through Xplorie was a bust. Two of our party golfed and one was free, but we rented a boat through the Xplorie service, the boat was MORE expensive than if we had gone straight to the company. The company would not give us a credit or any other options because it stormed and we returned the boat at two hours and twenty minutes out of a four hour rental. If we had been able to get around all the boats trying to return, and had returned the boat at the two hour mark, they would have refunded half the money. That just adds salt to the wound. There are only two cards to access any activities, so if someone is at the golf course and someone at the beach, everyone else is stuck due to not enough key cards to access any other activities. Key cards are required to enter and exit activities, so there is not a work around. Parking is a disaster if you have more than two cars, someone always had to park in overflow so it was a pain going anywhere. Will not book at this complex again.
